第1課時(shí)
一、談話導(dǎo)入,提出相關(guān)問題。
1、談話:同學(xué)們,今天我們的教室里來了一個(gè)老朋友,你們看是誰?(豆豆)豆豆家剛剛買了新房子,他今天邀請(qǐng)我們大家一起去他的新家看看,誰愿意去? 瞧,這就是他的新家了。
2、將主體圖中的平面圖放大。觀察畫面,看你發(fā)現(xiàn)了什么?你能提出什么數(shù)學(xué)問題呢?(學(xué)生根據(jù)畫面可能提出:餐廳有多大?他們家房子的面積有多大?哪個(gè)房間最大?廚房和餐廳哪個(gè)大?……篩選與本節(jié)課有關(guān)的問題)
二、合作探究,理解面積的意義。
1、談話:我們先來看“客廳和書房哪個(gè)大” ?(學(xué)生很容易就看出是客廳大)
繼續(xù)追問,你是怎樣判斷出來的?(直接看出來的)對(duì),像這樣的情況我們就用觀察法來判斷。

2、那“大臥室和客廳哪個(gè)大呀”? 學(xué)生一時(shí)觀察不出來,這時(shí),讓學(xué)生用提前發(fā)下的學(xué)具(客廳和大臥室的紙片)來比較。學(xué)生就很自然地就想到用重疊的方法來比較。
3、同學(xué)們你們好棒啊,發(fā)明了兩種比較面積大小的方法,現(xiàn)在還有一個(gè)更難的問題等我們來解決:“餐廳和廚房哪個(gè)大?”
(學(xué)生這時(shí)很難用剛才的方法來判斷。)
4、這兩個(gè)圖形,一個(gè)是正方形,一個(gè)是長方形,我們很難一下子就判斷出來哪個(gè)大,哪個(gè)小,那該怎么辦呢?請(qǐng)你在小組里,借助你手中的學(xué)具,和同伴一起商量一下解決的方法吧。
5、學(xué)生在小組中嘗試用剪一剪、比一比、擺一擺的方法自己來解決和驗(yàn)證。
6、請(qǐng)學(xué)生以小組為單位進(jìn)行匯報(bào)發(fā)現(xiàn):
學(xué)生可能會(huì)用圓片、正方形、三角形或者用量的方法來驗(yàn)證自己的想法。通過多種方法的驗(yàn)證,學(xué)生都能夠比較出來廚房比餐廳大。
7、提煉面積的意義。
同學(xué)們用不同的方法來比較出廚房比餐廳大,指的是廚房的地面比餐廳的地面大。因此地面的大小就是他們的面積。
(1)那你能來說說客廳、書房、衛(wèi)生間的面積都是指什么嗎?
(2)你還能找一找教室中還有哪些物體的面積嗎?對(duì)于可以用手摸得到的物體的面可以讓學(xué)生摸一摸。(3)你知道這些圖形的面積指的是什么?(出示一組形狀不同的平面圖形)
三、聯(lián)系實(shí)際,認(rèn)識(shí)面積單位。
1、認(rèn)識(shí)到統(tǒng)一單位的必要性。
誰來說說廚房到底有多大啊?(因?yàn)閷W(xué)生選用的面積單位不同,所以答案會(huì)產(chǎn)生分歧。)都是測(cè)量廚房的面積可為什么擺的個(gè)數(shù)都不相同 ?
(要給學(xué)生充分的時(shí)間體驗(yàn),使學(xué)生體會(huì)到同一面積單位的必要性)
師小結(jié):剛才我們?cè)诒容^廚房和餐廳的面積的時(shí)候,有的同學(xué)是用圓片擺的,有的同學(xué)是用正方形去擺的,所以得到了不同的結(jié)果。看來大家用來計(jì)量的單位不一樣,所以得到的結(jié)果也不一樣。為了方便,人們統(tǒng)一了面積的單位,現(xiàn)在就讓我們?nèi)チ私庖幌逻@些常用的面積單位。
2、認(rèn)識(shí)平方厘米
看老師手里的這個(gè)正方形,這個(gè)正方形的邊長是1厘米,它的面積就是1平方厘米。用字母cm2表示。從你身邊找找,哪些物體的面積大約是1平方厘米? 學(xué)生可能會(huì)找出大拇指指甲或者計(jì)算機(jī)鍵盤的按鍵面等。讓我們一起來畫一個(gè)1平方厘米的正方形吧。

請(qǐng)你用1平方厘米的正方形來量一量鉛筆盒面的面積吧。
3、認(rèn)識(shí)平方分米
請(qǐng)你用1平方厘米的正方形量一量課桌面的面積。
都感覺太麻煩了是不是?確實(shí),1平方厘米這個(gè)面積單位是用來量較小的物體的面的面積的,稍微大點(diǎn)的物體的面積,我們就可以用這個(gè)面積單位來測(cè)量了(拿出1平方分米),這個(gè)正方形的邊長是1分米,你知道,這個(gè)面積單位是多少嗎?(1平方米)它也可以用一個(gè)字母來表示,板書d2。
用這個(gè)面積單位去量量課桌面的面積試一試,現(xiàn)在感覺怎么樣了? 你能不能找一找身邊哪些物體面的面積大約是1平方分米。
4、認(rèn)識(shí)平方米
現(xiàn)在如果我們要測(cè)量一下教室地面的面積,你覺得可以用哪個(gè)面積單位? 學(xué)生根據(jù)前面學(xué)習(xí)的經(jīng)驗(yàn),應(yīng)該能夠直接說出平方米。誰能說說,1平方米是多大?該用什么字母表示呢? 請(qǐng)4個(gè)學(xué)生上前手拉手表示出大約1平方米的大小。你能估一估我們教室的面積嗎?
四、鞏固練習(xí),學(xué)會(huì)解決問題。
1、完成自主練習(xí)第2題。先讓學(xué)生說一說怎樣看圖比較圖形面積的大小,明確只要分別數(shù)出每個(gè)圖形包含的小方格數(shù)就可以了。不滿一格的按半格數(shù)。
2、自主練習(xí)4??梢宰寣W(xué)生用手中的學(xué)具擺擺看。目的是進(jìn)一步理解面積和面積單位。

2、自主練習(xí)6。這是一道解決實(shí)際問題的題目。
樹葉的形狀是不規(guī)則的,可先讓學(xué)生估一估,再數(shù)一數(shù)。然后說說是怎樣數(shù)的。
3、動(dòng)手操作。
a)拼圖游戲。用12個(gè)面積是1平方厘米的正方形可以拼成多少種長方形?他們的周長和面積是多少? 小組合作拼一拼、記一記、算一算、說一說。
b)畫一畫。在格紙上,畫出形狀不同,面積相同的圖形。
4、估一估。
a)先估計(jì)下面圖形的面積大約是多少平方厘米,再用1平方厘米的小正方形去量一量。b)請(qǐng)你估一估身邊物體面的面積。如:黑板面的面積大約是3平方米。

重點(diǎn)指導(dǎo)學(xué)生拼擺(利用學(xué)具盒中的平面圖):你可以用什么樣的紙片來拼擺?每排擺幾個(gè)正方形?可以擺幾排?
請(qǐng)學(xué)生用實(shí)物投影展示自己是怎樣拼擺的,面積是多少呢?通過剛才的操作你發(fā)現(xiàn)了什么?引導(dǎo)學(xué)生談一談自己的發(fā)現(xiàn),初步感知長方形的面積就是長乘寬。
