摘要：語言本身就是社會生活發展的產物。隨著網絡的出現和發展而產生的網絡語言也是社會進步的結果、歷史發展的必然。英語是當今世界上通用的語言，而漢語是目前世界上使用人數最多的語言，現在，卻因為網絡語言產生千絲萬縷的聯系。網絡語言作為新生事物，具有強大的生命力，在這種狀況下，英語就不可避免的對現代漢語網絡語言產生影響。

我們先來看一個例子：

新浪網2000年8月29日有一篇文章中有一段話是很典型的網絡語言，部分記錄如下：

“7456（氣死我了）！大蝦（網絡高手）、菜鳥（初學上網技術不熟練的人）一塊兒到偶（我）的烘焙雞（home page，主頁）上亂灌水（發表沒有意義的文章），這些水桶（經常灌水的人）真是BT（變態）！BS（鄙視）u（you，你們）！哥們兒用不著PMP（拍馬屁），到底誰是好漢，光棍節過招。94（就是）醬紫（這樣子），待會兒再打鐵（發帖）。：p（吐舌頭的鬼臉）呵呵！”

從這個例子看來，如果一個不懂網絡語言的人來看這段文字是很難看懂的，但是這種簡短的表達方式很適合網民交流，沒有語法限制，可以任意表達，也正是這種隨心所欲的交流方法，為網民們提供了充分發揮想象力和創造性的最自由的空間，這種空間因缺少了傳統社會生活中無所不在的“監督”而顯得更加自由、更加珍貴。網民們能夠在網絡上最大限度地發揮自己的想象力和創造性。同傳統的書面語言相比較，網絡語言由于減少了外來的束縛，發揮了作者的自由性，往往在構思上更為巧妙，往往語出驚人、令人瞠目，從而最大限度地反映出每個人在語言上的創造力。

一、網絡語言的概況

隨著國際互聯網技術的發展，網絡的普及和網名民的大量增多，網絡語言也隨之越來越豐富。目前，網絡語言已經日漸成為網民在網絡交流上必不可少的“通行證”。

1.網絡語言的含義

網絡語言是人們在網絡交際時所運用的語言形式，它是夾雜了數字代碼、英語字母、諧音假借文字和電腦鍵盤上符號寫成的特殊語言，是一種新的媒體語言。

網絡語言分為廣義和狹義的兩種，根據詞匯的語義功能和文化內涵，廣義的網絡語言可分為三類：一是與網絡有關的專業術語，如：鼠標、硬件、軟件、病毒、登陸、在線、聊天室、局域網、防火墻、瀏覽器等。二是與網絡有關的特別用語，如：網民、網吧、第四媒體、電子商務、虛擬空間、信息高速公路等。三是網民在聊天室和BBS上的常用詞語和符號。狹義的網絡語言僅指第三類，即網友之間為了方便交流，加強溝通而創造的有它獨特的風格的習慣用語，是由網民創造并在網上使用的語言。前兩種一旦被廣泛運用，便在現代漢語詞匯中固定下來，形成相對的穩定性；而第三種語言由于其五彩繽紛的詞匯超越常規的語法和口語化的表達詞語和符號，盡管在整個網絡語言中所占的比例很小，但它的生成速度很快，傳播效率很快，應用面越來越廣，而且不穩定，已經對網絡交流產生了很大的影響，因此，非常有研究的必要。所以本文只針對狹義的網絡語言來談（以下所指的網絡語言均指狹義的網絡語言）。

2.網絡語言的分類

由于網友之間的交流都必須要通過鍵盤來完成，所以簡潔、快速、易懂就成了首要前提，網民也因此創造了這種特殊的語言，而且其形式多樣，主要包括一下幾類:

（一）數字型

（二）翻譯型

（三）字母型

（四）符號型

數字型：就是用阿拉伯數字來表示諧音。如886(拜拜了）、7456(氣死我了)、8147(不要生氣)。

符號型：就是用鍵盤上的符號隨意組合來表達一些具有表情意味和形象色彩的圖像。如^@^表示小豬，：-O表示驚訝，：-X表示守口如瓶，：-D表示大笑，8-）表示戴眼鏡，：&表示結巴，：/I表示禁止吸煙等等。《中國網絡語言詞典》[2]稱之為“臉譜符號”，使人聯想到了戲曲當中的臉譜，應該說是比“圖形符號”更為貼切的，它一般是用來表達人的喜怒哀樂的。

而翻譯型和字字母型就相對復雜，這也正是我們這里所要討論的重點。

翻譯型可以分為：<1>漢語譯英 就是從漢語意思轉過去的，指將英語詞當成漢語詞使用。如漢語表達謙虛的時候會說“哪里 哪里”，網民之間就會直接說“where where”,還有是一個北京的流行語叫“暈菜”，網民之間會說“faint”（昏厥），“小事一樁”會說是“小case”

<2>英語漢說

就是指有意義的音譯詞，即將無意義的英語讀音寫作有意義的漢語詞，并按這種漢字來說。比如E-mail（電子郵件）寫作“伊妹兒”，home page（主頁）寫作“烘焙雞”，modem（調制解調器）寫作“貓”，download（下載）寫作“蕩”等。

字母型可以分為：<1>漢語拼音的縮略 即將漢字的漢語拼音第一個字母大寫。如美眉（妹妹)縮略為MM、變態縮略為BT, 還有寶貝縮寫為BB。

<2>英語的縮略 這里的縮寫不僅包括一些專有名詞的縮寫，也包括一個字母代表一個音節或詞素。如I see 縮寫為IC、boyfriend 縮寫為BF、bulletin board system縮寫為BBS、還有PK和VS。

由網絡語言的分類也可以看出英語現代漢語網絡語言的影響很大。3.網絡語言的特點

<1>簡潔性

這是網絡語言的首要特點。由于網民之間的交流主要是通過鍵盤的輸入來完成，所以簡潔就成了首要的目的，交流的兩人不需要語言有多規范，所以要求文字盡量言簡意賅，輸入簡便，瀏覽迅速。如：F2F（face to face，面對面）、“瘟酒吧（windows 98）”、“瘟酒舞（windows 95）”。<2>創新性

這是網絡語言的最大特點。網民在交流時語言靈活、富于變化，他們利用諧音，或通過修辭抑或通假創造新詞。主要體現在詞匯和語法上面：一是對已有詞語的變異使用及新詞新語的創造；一是對常規語法的突破。如；“青蛙”是指網上的男性公民；“水母”指在BBS上極能灌水的女性網民。

<3>形象性

在網絡交際中，網民充分利用鍵盤上的符號，創制了幽默風趣而且形象生動的圖形和表情符號，來模擬現實交際。網絡語言的形象性還表現在一些形象的網絡詞語上。如把網民稱為“網蟲”，于是初級網民是“爬蟲”，高級網民是“飛蟲”。如“ing”是英文中一個現在分詞，就很形象的用在網絡語言中表示正在進行中的事情。

<4>詼諧性

由于網民的相對年輕化使網絡語言更富活力，網民苦心構思許多生動有趣的網絡語言，營造更為輕松幽默的交流氛圍。這種輕松幽默的風格，也迎合了現代人想要在緊張的工作生活和學習之外想要放松身心的需要，使網民能在網絡交流時更加暢所欲言。

其實，網絡語言的這些特點都是互相存在，相互包含，一個網絡新詞就可以體現所有的這些特點。

二、語言間的影響

由于語言之間的相互接觸，所以也難免會產生影響，特別是現代社會經濟蒸蒸日上，科學文化興旺發達，由于生產力的提高和東西方文化的交流，這種影響也更為明顯，但網絡語言中英語對現代漢語的影響不僅表現在這些上面，還表現在他們之間的借用，替換和融合。

借用：即借詞，包括音譯和意譯兩種。<一>音譯：即用漢字按借詞原來的讀音寫成一般按不能漢字組合解釋的新詞，也稱轉寫。如咖啡(coffee)、沙發(sofa)、坦克(tank)、雷達(rader)、邏輯(logic)。還有一類轉寫是在借詞后加上一個“指類名詞”，表明它的屬性。例如beer轉寫（按原文讀音）為“啤”，但因為只用一個漢字又不能“望文生義”，因而加上一個“指類名詞”——酒——形成借詞“啤酒”，讓人們知道“啤”不是桌子，椅子，而是一種有酒精成分的軟飲料。此類結構還有卡車（car + 車）、卡片（card + 片）、高爾夫球（golf + 球）等。<二>意譯：即把原詞的組成部分都按語義寫成漢字，然后照漢語構詞法把它結合成新詞。如foot（足）ball（球）、cock（雞）tail（尾）party（酒會）、steam（汽）ship（船）。<三>半音半譯：將原文的一部分按讀音轉寫，另一部分卻不按讀音而按語義翻譯寫成漢字。如冰淇淋（冰激淋）即英語ice-cream，頭一個漢字“冰”，是從ice意譯來的，不是音譯；而第二、三個漢字則是按音轉寫（音譯）而成。融合：語言相互影響程度最深的就是語言的融合，也有的稱為“語言同化”。它是隨著不同民族間的接觸而產生的一中語言現象。

三、英語對現代漢語網絡語言的影響

從以上網絡語言的分類可以看出現代網絡語言中英語對漢語網絡語言的影響不可小覷。

詞匯上，它五彩繽紛的英譯和意譯詞豐富了現代漢語的網絡詞匯語言，給現代漢語網絡語言注入新鮮的血液，甚至有些詞語已經從網絡中走下來，進入我們的現實生活之中，成為日常生活的交流用語。如黑客（Hacker)、幽默（humor)、克隆（cone）、浪漫（romantic）。

語法上，出現了標新立異的表達方式，使漢語的表達方式更加多元化。由于網絡語言多是口語化的表達方式，而且很多都是英漢混合表達，所以表達中就有許多句子沒有遵循漢語語法的表達方式，它超越常規的語法，表達的各個成分要素之間是彼此之間不相干，但它不影響網民之間的溝通。又由于受到英語語法的影響，漢語網絡語言出現了與常規現代漢語不符的語序，如：不要忘了伊妹兒我！（Do not forget to e-mail me！）；就是按照英語的語序來表達的。

語義上，它使漢語的表達更為簡潔。網絡語言注重簡潔，所以有很多的表達都是簡寫，特別是用英文交流的時候，這樣給網民交流帶來了便利，而且使網絡語言具有詼諧性，語義表達更為幽默。如：“敗”就用英文單詞“BUY”（買）來代替；還有“Q”（cute “可愛”的意思）代表“可愛”，例句：約翰長的好Q哦，象個芭比娃娃。

就像是硬幣有兩面一樣，英語對漢語網絡語言所產生的負面影響也讓人產生擔憂。由于歷史和技術原因，計算機最初所依托的機器語言就是英語，這一客觀事實決定了英語在網絡傳播中的主體地位。如今，網絡上，英文字母漫天飛舞；而且，近幾年來掀起了一波又一波的“英語熱”的浪潮，不論是學習還是就業，都少不了對英語的要求，使得英語在漢語網絡語言中的地位更為穩固，也引起了人們的擔憂。

英語對漢語網絡語言的影響很大程度上挑戰了現代漢語的發展。目前，這種影響已經深入大廣大的中小學生中間，而且前景令人堪憂。據報道：有一名中學生在作文之中寫到：“7456，TMD！大蝦，菜鳥一塊兒到我的烘培機上亂灌水，這些水桶真BT！哥們用不著PMP，到底誰是好漢，光棍節過招。”，這種不規范的寫法在中學生中間非常普遍，這些“新詞新語”也給語言工作者和教育者帶來了不少的麻煩。對于這些還沒有是非判斷標準的學生，漢語的語言規范又該何去何從也引人深思。

另一方面，英語正借助網絡語言的快速傳播對漢語進行解構和同化。現實社會中，即使世界上有著將近1/4的人口說著漢語，但在經濟全球化的趨勢下，英語作為一種在世界范圍內的通用語言，也使漢語的影響力大為縮水。據統計，目前網上的英文信息占整個信息量的90％，而漢語尚不足1％。因而有人將英語成為“網絡霸權語言”。毫無疑問，在網絡中，漢語處于弱勢狀態。

李行健先生曾在《語言發展不能靠流行語推動》一文中說到：“語言在自身發展中有很強的自我‘清洗’‘排污’的能力。”，任何一種語言都具有強大的生命力，而越是活的，富于變化的語言就越能推動語言的發展，語言之間也存在著優勝劣汰，網絡語言強大的生命力雖然沖擊著現代漢語的同時也給現代漢語帶來新的發展。英語雖然給現代漢語網絡語言產生了一些負面影響，但是我們不能因為它有一點瑕疵就全盤否定它，排斥它。我們應該從長遠來看，做到趨利避害，取其精華，去其糟粕，是它更好的與現代漢語融合，發展。
