Unit 3 My Birthday

第一課時

一、教學內(nèi)容：Let?s learn & Let?s start、Let?s try

二、教學目標：

1、能夠聽、說、認讀12個月份的名稱，并能書寫其縮寫形式。

2、聽懂并運用句子“When is your birthday?”詢問對方的生日，并能用“My birthday is in ?.”來表達自己生日的月份。

三、教學重難點：

教學重點：聽懂并運用句子“When is your birthday?”詢問對方的生日，并能用“My birthday is in ?.”來表達。

教學難點：能用所學的語言表達自己的生日在哪個月份，并在實際情景中運用。

五、教學過程：

1、熱身

1.教師播放Unit2 P14 Let?s chant的課件，讓學生跟唱。2.Look and talk(看圖對話)T: Do you like spring? S1: Yes, I do..T: What?s the weather like in spring? S1: It?s warm and windy.T: What can you do in spring? S1:I can fly kites.I can plant trees.（設計意圖：通過與學生交流，讓學生回顧四季氣候特征以及人們能在該季節(jié)進行的活動，以舊引新，自然、流暢地引入新課。活動類型A）

2、預習

T: There are 4 seasons in a year.But how many months are there in a year? Ss: There are 12.T: What are they? Please listen and chant.Then tell me.教師播放五年級上冊的Recycle 2 Let?s chant部分的錄音，在黑板上按順序貼出12個月份的圖

片（暫時不出示單詞）。學生帶著問題跟唱。

3、新課教學

Let?s learn & Let?s start 1.教師利用圖片和語言，根據(jù)四季的劃分呈現(xiàn)和教授12個月份的單詞。

如：T:（指著12個月份的卡片）There are 12 months in a year.Which months are in spring? Ss: 三月/四月/五月…

師根據(jù)學生的回答出示單詞卡片教授March, April,May.并板書它們的縮寫形式：Mar./Apr./May 同樣地教授其它月份的單詞。

2．教師指向某一月，向?qū)W生介紹說：“My birthday is in ?.”，并在當月畫上一個大的生日蛋糕，讓學生理解“birthday”的意思。然后詢問學生：“When is your birthday?”引導學生回答：My birthday is in….3.讓學生帶著任務去聽錄音 T: When is John?s birthday?

T播放A Let?s learn錄音, Ss listen to the tape ,then answer.4.Read the new words follow the tape.Read follow T one by one Read in pairs.Game: T出示月份轉(zhuǎn)盤，請Ss結(jié)合句子：“When is your birthday?My birthday is in….”進行游戲(設計意圖：利用游戲來操練鞏固所學單詞與句子，讓學生在學中玩、玩中學。活動類型R)Let?s chant 1.T將全班學生按生日所在月份分成六組，分別進行聽指令作出反應。如：January or February, raise your hand.2．T播放Let?s chant錄音，學生聽懂內(nèi)容后根據(jù)指令做動作，然后跟著節(jié)奏，邊說邊做。（設計意圖：歌謠與TPR相結(jié)合，既能讓學生體驗英語語句的節(jié)奏感，又能達到操練鞏固新知識。活動類型C）

1．Let?s try T播放Let?s try部分的錄音，Ss完成寫月份的練習。

（設計意圖：該練習從說到聽到寫相結(jié)合，有利于學生當堂鞏固12個月份及“When is your birthday?”句型。活動類型R）

2.完成《同步精練》相關(guān)練習

(設計意圖：通過在課堂上進行聽力和筆頭練習，鞏固和運用知識，并且及時反饋學生的掌握情況。活動類型R。)5、Homework 1.課文P26&P28聽錄音三次，讀兩次，并背誦月份的縮寫形式。2.抄寫月份單詞6+1 3.預習Let?s talk.六、板書 U1

“When is your birthday?”詢問對方的生日，并能用“My birthday is in ?.The 2nd Lesson Specific vocabulary: 能聽、說和認讀一些節(jié)日名稱：Tree-planting Day, New Year?s Day, Children?s Day, Army Day, National Day, Christmas Day.Specific target sentences: “ When is your birthday? Specific functional exponents: 詢問別人的生日在什么時候。

Source of material: 月份單詞卡、標有12個月份的大轉(zhuǎn)盤、錄音帶、金太陽VCD。Assumptions: 學生已經(jīng)在第一課時學習了12個月份的單詞，初步接觸了句型“When is your birthday? My birthday is in….”本課時的教學重點是強化第一課時的句型：When is your birthday? My birthday is in….”并聽、說、認讀新句型：Is your birthday in…,too? Step 1 Warm-up

1.教師播放P26Let?s chant的歌謠，學生邊跟節(jié)奏唱邊做動作。

2.教師出示標有12個月份的大轉(zhuǎn)盤，在轉(zhuǎn)動指針前提問：Which month is it?讓學生猜測，如：“It?s January/February.”等。

(設計意圖：歌謠熱身使學生自然聯(lián)想上一節(jié)課內(nèi)容，在輕松愉悅的環(huán)境中進入教學。利用轉(zhuǎn)盤，讓學生進行猜的活動，調(diào)動學生的積極性，復習月份單詞。活動類型A。)

Step 2 Preview

師生之間進行如下對話： T: Hello,A.When is your birthday? SA: It?s in January.T: What about you,B? Is your birthday in January, too? SB: Yes, it is.T: When is your birthday, C? Is your birthday in January, too? C: No, it?s in March.學生模仿以上對話進行“連鎖問答”

Step 3 Presentaion Let?s talk 1.T利用實物投影儀，出示A部分Let?s learn的Birthday Chart(生日圖表)，掩蓋住 Mike, Amy, Zhang Peng 的名字，然后與學生進行問答： T: When is Wu Yinfan?s birthday? Ss: It?s in January.T: Is Sarah?s birthday in January, too? Ss: No.T: When is Sarah?s birthday? Ss: It?s in March.(設計意圖：通過教師的提問，學生根據(jù)記憶來回答問題，運用新句型引出新的對話教學，起到承上啟下的作用。活動類型A)2．T出示Mike,Amy,Zhang Peng 的頭飾，提問：When is Mike?s birthday? What about Amy? What about Zhang Peng? Let?s sing First ,Ss listen and learn to sing.Then try to make a new one by yourself.(設計意圖：讓學生鞏固所學句子，并運用句子。活動類型C)Group work 先組織學生進行“我是小記者”的采訪活動，各組派2名學生當“小記者”，將采訪到的同學的生日所在月份記入調(diào)查表。最后，邀請部分“小記者”匯報，如：There are 3 birthdays in May.等。

1、師問學生：“Do you like June? Why?”，有的學生可能說出有六一兒童節(jié)，教師幫助學生說出“Children’s day”。

2、師請學生說一說他們還知道哪些節(jié)日，用英語表達。

3、師將29頁中的節(jié)日寫在黑板上，配以相應的圖片，讓學生朗讀。

4、師提問學生：“When is Children’s Day?”，請學生答出：“It’s in June.”。然后兩人一組進行Pair work, 完成Let?s find out部分的連線和問答練習。最后通過師生問答或?qū)W生輪流問答的方式全班一起進行校對答案。

Step 3 Presentation Read and write 1.Present and teach a phrase“a birthday chart for my family”

T: There are so many people in my family.I want to make a birthday chart for my family.出示準備好的空白表格，貼在黑板的另一側(cè)，板書：a birthday chart for my family。師生一起

拼寫單詞，并朗讀短語三次。

PPT課件etc.Assumptions and Anticipated problems : 序數(shù)詞是一個教學的難點，在四年級和五年級上冊有學習過first 和second的用法，Where is the teach?s office? It?s on the first floor.結(jié)合這一知識點來引入序數(shù)詞的學習，以舊接新，自然引入學習。

Specific functional exponents: 能運用所學的語言介紹和詢問自己的生日 Source of materials: 金太陽課件、單詞卡片、錄音帶，小黑板。

Asumptions:談論生日是深受學生們喜愛的一個話題，學生大都很重視自己的生日，結(jié)合這一心理特點，對學生的生日進行統(tǒng)計，讓學生說出自己的生日，將統(tǒng)計的全班生日貼在班務欄里，當有同學過生日時，讓全班祝賀和唱生日歌曲，既能增進全班同學的感情，又能結(jié)合課文內(nèi)容學習英語語言知識。

Step 1 Warm up

Listen to the song and guess the festival.“Jingle Bell”，“Happy New Year”“It’s New Year’s Day”。

2.教師拿出一本掛歷，然后問同學，Show the calendar, asks：“What’s the date?”，3.教師拿著年歷從一月開始問學生：“Who has a birthday in January? Please stand up.”，而后教師問起立的學生：“What’s the date?”，讓一月份生日的學生答出具體日期。

4.引入課文的教學

Asumptions:經(jīng)過第一到第五課時的學習，展開這一課的閱讀教學。這篇文章的趣味點是Zoom is sending an e-card to grandma.But grandma doesn't have a computer.抓住這一問題，引導學生進行學習，更能夠調(diào)動他們的積極性。

Step 1 Warm up

Let?s sing(P36)，播放金太陽課件，全班拍手有節(jié)奏地唱。

（設計意圖：復習已學習的知識，活躍課堂氣氛，組織課堂教學。通過這首歌曲，再一次復習生日的句子，為下面的閱讀做知識鋪墊。活動類型R）

Step 2 Rivision：

1)Review the month words.先全班快速朗讀單詞卡，然后讓學生拼寫出月份的縮寫形式。

2)Daily talk:教師說：My birthday is in March.Is your birthday in March,too? When is your birthday? What?s the date?（設計意圖：引導學生復習月份的詞匯，談論自己的生日，緊密圍繞本課的教學重點，復習舊的知識。活動類型C）

Step 3：Presentation 1.教師投影課文插圖，分別指著圖片中的Zoom，Zip問： What can you see in the picture?

Recycle 1 第一課時

一、教學內(nèi)容：Ask and answer、Listen and write

二、教學目標與要求

1、復習有關(guān)一天中的活動及活動時間的短語和句子。

2、填寫或制作作息時間表。

3、培養(yǎng)合理安排時間及熱愛勞動的觀念。

三、教學重點、難點

重點是綜合運用第一單元的中心語言。難點是對一天中的活動進行有條理地表達。

四、課前準備

1、教師準備Ask and answer 部分兩張活動時間表的教學掛圖。

2、教師準備第一單元的動詞短語卡片。

3、學生制作自己的作息時間表。

4、準備本課時的課件。

五、教學步驟

1、熱身

（1）全班一起唱第一單元的歌曲“Weekend”

（2）全班吟唱第一單元第二頁Let’s chant 部分的歌謠。

2、預習

（1）教師放四年級下冊第二單元A部分Let’s do 的錄音，師生一起做TPR活動。

（2）音樂停止時，教師繼續(xù)做幾個動作來表示第一的動詞短語，如：get up , go to school , climb mountians等，請學生來猜。學生每猜出一個，教師即于學生一起拼讀該短語，并板書在黑板上。

3、新課呈現(xiàn)

Ask and answer

(1)教師與學生進行快速回答，如：“When do you get up ? At 6:30 in the morning.When do you eat breakfast ? At 7:00 in the moring.”等。教師把學生回答的時間寫在黑板上相應的動詞短語下面。

（2）教師將全班分成四大組進行“連鎖問答”游戲。四個組同時進行，教師計時。聲音最響亮、口齒最清晰、耗時最短的組獲勝。

（3）教師出示本部分兩張表格的掛圖，示范一兩次后請學生分別扮演Zhang Peng 和 Amy 進行Pair work。

Listen and write

（1）教師放Listen and write 部分的錄音，學生靜聽一遍，聽第二遍時填寫Timetable.（2）校對。

4、鞏固和延伸

（1）學生完成課時作業(yè)中的配套練習。

（2）學生向同學介紹自己的作息時間表。

5、HW：U1四會單詞句子6+1.六、板書設計

第二課時

一、教學內(nèi)容：Read and answer、Write and say、Let’s sing

二、教學目標

1、綜合復習第二單元關(guān)于四季特征及相應活動的語言知識。

2、能夠讀懂Read and answer 部分的小短文，回答文后問題，并能模仿短文進行語篇寫作。

3、能夠在Write and say 部分用英語表達最喜歡的季節(jié)及在該季節(jié)的著裝、進行的活動和該季節(jié)的天氣特征等內(nèi)容。

4、會唱歌曲“Song of the season ”

二、教學重、難點

1、重點：描述四季特征和最喜歡的季節(jié)及原因。

2、難點：仿照Read and answer 中的語篇寫作小短文。

三、課前準備

1、準備有關(guān)四季風光、氣候及人們的相應活動的圖片或錄像資料片。

2、學生就自己最喜歡的季節(jié)準備一段演說稿，可同時準備輔助演講的物品。

3、本課時課件。

四、教學步驟

1、熱身

（1）教師放Let’s sing 部分的歌曲，使學生對歌曲旋律和歌詞內(nèi)容有大致的了解。

（2）教師放第二單元Let’s chant 部分的歌謠，全班吟唱。

（3）教師放歌曲“What’s Your Favourite Season ?”全班齊唱。

2、預習

教師出示有關(guān)春季的圖片，學生觀看后師生展開對話。（其他三個季節(jié)同）
