There is an added 30 points for Chinese which quite a few people think students will benefit from.I personally do not agree with this view.Traditional Chinese culture and Chinese literature, of course, are very important and could be an important source for students to establish their philosophy of life.But is an added 30 points strong enough to make a difference? ————大學英語教學改革之我見

在學校領導的倡導和大力的支持下，我們外語教研室以《高職高專教育英語課程教學基本要求》和《教育部關于推進高等職業教育改革創新引領職業教育科學發展的若干意見》為指導方針，圍繞大學英語教學進行了一系列的改革嘗試——注重培養綜合能力，強調提升職業素質。努力培養生產、建設、服務、管理第一線的高端技能型專門人才。改革實施以來，取得了很大成效。在此，我結合我的教學實踐和大家分享一下我的感受。1 做好了基礎英語對醫學英語的鋪墊

目前大部分醫學院校強調大學英語應用能力考試和四、六級考試,幾乎所有的教學活動都圍繞考試進行，本是為專業英語打基礎的基礎英語并沒有發揮自身的作用。針對這一情況，我們采取分層教學的方法：實施基礎英語+醫學英語會話+專業醫學英語的教學模式。醫學英語會話主要提高學生英語在實踐中的應用能力，同時介紹一些常用的醫學詞匯和詞根。為了兼顧學生對考試的需要，同時配備聽力、閱讀等基礎英語教材。通過一年的學習，學生對醫學英語有了一定的了解，掌握了一些專業的英語詞匯，在進入專業英語學習后，不至于感到無所適從。提高了教師的醫學英語教學水平

我們外語教研室的教師改革前主要從事基礎英語的教學，因此擔心在講解醫學英語過程中，由于專業知識的欠缺，可能會常常停留在強調單詞的應用，句型的分析和文本大意的掌握上，在知識上達不到自由拓展，在教學過程中比較被動。提出教學改革后，全體教師開展了醫學英語大“補課”活動。從醫學詞匯、臨床會話到醫學英語的專業知識各個方面提升了自我。同時在教學實踐中也進一步培養自身的醫學英語素養。多種教學方法相結合在醫學英語教學中我們采用了多種教學方法相結合，多角度、多側面的訓練學生的聽、說、讀、寫、譯的能力，激發學生學習興趣，提高學生的英語應用能力。如教師可以利用直觀教學法，充分利用多媒體教學設備，在課堂上綜合利用與授課文本有關的錄像，使學生的聽覺、視覺、動覺器官都參加活動，容易引起和保持學生的學習興趣。

4編寫了難易適中的教材

經過基礎英語階段的學習，學生的詞匯量大約在4000-4500 左右。考慮學生的實際水平和接受能力，教研室編寫了醫學英語教材。這些教材在教學實踐中體現了很高的實用性。5 實施了合理多元化的測評方法

醫學英語應注重學生實際應用能力的測試，以促進醫學英語的學習。為了強調醫學英語的實用性，醫學英語測評分為兩個部分：一部分為平時成績，另一部分期末考試成績。平時成績通過多種方式來體現，主要考察學生的實際應用能力；期末考試成績主要考察學生對專業詞匯的掌握、構詞法的應用及常用句型的掌握。在學生開始學習醫學英語之前，我們就把測評方法告知了學生，讓他們認識到英語實際應用能力的重要性，從一開始就認識到學習的目標和意義，增強他們對醫學英語學習的興趣。

由此不難看出，我校大學英語教學改革為醫學院校的大學英語教學理念和整個教學體系帶來了很大的變化，對提高學生英語綜合應用能力起到了很好的促進作用。也對進一步深化我校教學改革具有較好的借鑒作用。教學改革不但有效地提高了學生的英語綜合應用能力和學習能力，同時還促進了教師教學管理及技術運用水平的改進，也促進了教師研究能力的提高。以上就是我對我校大學英語教學改革的一點感受。

關鍵是缺乏交流的語境，不跟以英語為母語的人交流，學語言的耗費那么多的時間精其重點應當是教育內容、教學方式及考核形式的改革，應發揮其應有的作用，讓學生掌握一門語言的工具，高考是保障公平合理的選拔考試。形式的合理，不代表內容的合理。改進教學方法實現教育目的才是改革的正確方向，多年來，人們對語文教育的詬病，并不少于對英語教育的指責。該改的，不單單是英語。因此，我們在不斷改進高考制度的時候，也應當考慮語言教學的改革。

北京無疑是國內各省市中的一處英語“高地”，由高地帶頭，削減英語分值，更具象征意義。讓語言教育回歸本位，高考這根指揮棒正該是發揮作用之處。輕輕一揮，說不定真能四兩撥千斤，調動起教育的千軍萬馬來。
