翻譯課學習心得

總體上看，這門課更加深化了我對翻譯的理解，即只學習中英文語言是不夠的，翻譯需要大量的實踐和豐富的理論知識做基礎。而且，翻譯過來的句子和文章也要有一定的邏輯性才又意義，才是真正使用的翻譯。

在題材上，這學期我們既接觸了應用文本，也涉獵了文學翻譯；內容上，翻譯學習廣泛涵蓋了廣告、企宣、法律、政府文本、金融、文化各個領域；內容豐富，形式多樣，不僅鍛煉了我們的翻譯能力，也開拓了我們的眼界。一個學期下來，讓我收獲很多，主要是以下幾個方面：

首先，要想把翻譯搞好，就要把基礎知識弄扎實，穩固的基礎知識是良好翻譯的前提。在這樣的前提下，就需要我們平時多積累單詞，沒有大的詞匯量根本沒有辦法順利完成翻譯。單詞不用刻意去背，但一定要從平時的學習中去總結，去積累。值得注意的是一些固定搭配的詞匯、俚語或成語，和在特定場合或在專業領域里有著不同解釋的詞匯。比如，就在紅樓夢的詩歌翻譯中，形容中國的父母就用了“fond”這個詞，就很好形容了中國父母對子女的愛，這不是普通尋常的關愛，而是“溺愛，寵愛”，這要讓我翻譯，以我現在的水平確實是想不到用這個詞的，這一點上課的時候我就深有體會。又比如，在政府類的文本里面，任務到底是翻譯成“mission，task，還是goal”，這就需要我們平時多體會，多留心，多揣摩相近詞匯的細微差異了。

其次，語法知識的牢固是英語專業必須做到的本質工作，牢固的語法知識會幫助我們理解和翻譯。若語法不牢，那就根本不懂句子的邏輯關系，從而不能理解其所表達的含義。

此外，各個方面的知識也需要我們的掌握。這也是翻譯專業區別于非翻譯專業的一個特點。不僅是文化方面，經濟，政治，飲食等等都需要積累。因為將來若要從事翻譯，那是觸及到知識的方方面面，各行各業，知識的積累就能幫助做到面面俱到。學習英語翻譯，就是學會將母語中文翻譯成英語，以及把英語翻譯成中文的一個過程。比如，在翻譯人民幣國際化的文本中，就出現了大量的金融詞匯和眾多的專業化表述，這不是臨陣磨槍可以解決的，而是需要長時間的積累，大量的閱讀，才能在翻譯專業文獻時，用專業術語傳遞專業知識。

除了要對英語知識的掌握以外，母語也不能被丟掉。我們還需要多閱讀中文書籍，多揣摩中文的字詞句，這樣表達上就會更靈巧，翻譯的也會更得體。這一點在翻譯英文文學作品時，尤為突出。高中時候給我打下的堅實中文寫作功底，讓我在翻譯英文小說的時候更加得心應手，用簡潔凝練的語言，優美典雅的文筆，將一個個跳躍的英文字符轉換成沉穩的方塊字。

翻譯學習除了要不斷地積累之外還要不斷地練習。在掌握了一定的知識儲備之后就要把它們拿來操練。多練習翻譯，并且拿別人的譯文來與自己的做比較，吸收別人的長處，找出自己的不足。每次課上讀到同學譯文的連珠妙語時，都讓我心折。同時，在交流中，也讓我發現了自己翻譯的不足，是翻譯采用的方法不對還是詞義的選擇不準確，是語法功底不足還是詞匯的稀少，每一次課后，我都進行了總結和反思。

最后一點就是，要從總體上把握譯文，把握文章的語域、風格等。如《名利場》的翻譯，就要用世俗化的語言而非是書面的語言翻譯，才能更好地契合原文。《京華煙云》里對小腳的描寫，就要用凝練典雅的語言，才能展現近代中國的人文風貌，顯出點上世紀文學家的風韻。

我對翻譯課的建議就是，希望在課上培養大家的英語思維，大家上課都盡量用英語交流，就算不能很好的表達，大家也要盡量去說。其實翻譯的學習老師只是一個向導作用，交給了我們技巧和方法，剩下的都要我們自己去修煉，通過不斷努力不斷堅持，翻譯才能做得更好。

科技英語翻譯課程學習心得

英語翻譯，是具有邏輯思維、科學理論和藝術色彩三者集中亮相的一種語言學問。但是，在學習《科技英語翻譯》之前，我對翻譯的看法卻不是這樣認為的，對它的態度卻是那么的不恭，那么的不敬，只認為它是語言的奴隸，是一種枯燥乏味的、低俗的賺錢工具，根本談不上“學問”這一個崇高的詞語，更是談不上它具有科學理論、藝術色彩、邏輯思維這些完美的名詞。現在，在我的腦海中，翻譯不再是語言的奴隸，而是語言的靈魂。語言是人與人之間交流的重要工具，如果沒有了翻譯，那么人與人之間的交流在很大程度上就會受到阻礙，世界的文化交流歷史將要重新編寫。

在學習《科技英語翻譯》之前，每當翻譯句子時，我并沒有考慮到譯文的邏輯性以及通順性，直接按照原文的單詞順序非常死板地翻譯成譯文，使譯文讀起來非常生硬，不通順，不僅大大改變了原文的韻味，而且大大降低了譯文的可讀性。

接下來就說說對這門課的體會了。

通過對這門課的學習，我對科技英語有了一些了解，不再像沒上過這門課之前一樣一頭霧水。科技英語(English for Science and Technology ,簡稱EST)是在自然科學和工程技術領域使用的一種英語文體，是隨著科學技術的迅速發展而逐漸形成的，科技英語是客觀存在的。隨著國際學術交流的日益廣泛,科技英語已經受到普遍的重視,掌握科技英語的翻譯技巧是非常必要的。

從構成語言的語音,詞匯和語法這三大要素上看，科技英語和普通英語本質上是一致的。在語音上，EST使用的仍是普通英語的語音系統，其讀音規則和發音方法并無絲毫變化；在詞匯上，一方面，EST中雖然有大量專業技術詞匯和術語，但其基本詞匯都是普通英語中所固有的，另一方面，來源于普通詞匯的專業詞匯仍能看出與普通詞匯的聯系；在語法上，EST雖然有明顯的特點，如大量使用被動語態，非謂語動詞，名詞化結構和從句等，但仍未擺脫普通英語的語法規則，并無獨立的語法。

現在，科技英語正朝著新詞語大量增加，名詞性前置定語越來越多，句子結構越來越簡化，標點符號的使用日趨靈活的方向發展，這一發展趨勢給我們的英語水平提了一個更高的要求。所以，想要學好科技英語翻譯這一門課，必須提高我們自身的英語水平。

作為一種重要的英語文體,科技英語與非科技英語文體相比,具有詞義多、長句多、被動句多、詞性轉換多、非謂語動詞多、專業性強等特點,這些特點都是由科技文獻的內容所決定的。因此,科技英語的翻譯也有別于其他英語文體的翻譯。

通過對這門課的學習，我也學到了一些翻譯技巧：

轉譯法：指翻譯過程中為了使譯文符合目標語的表述方式、方法和習慣而對原句中的詞類、句型和語態等進行轉換。具體的說，就是在詞性方面，把名詞轉換為代詞、形容詞、動詞；把動詞轉換成名詞、形容詞、副詞、介詞；把形容詞轉換成副詞和短語。在句子成分方面，把主語變成狀語、定語、賓語、表語；把謂語變成主語、定語、表語；把定語變成狀語、主語；把賓語變成主語。在句型方面，把并列句變成復合句，把復合句變成并列句，把狀語從句變成定語從句。在語態方面，可以把主動語態變為被動語態。

增譯法：指根據英漢兩種語言不同的思維方式、語言習慣和表達方式，在翻譯時增添一些詞、短句或句子，以便更準確地表達出原文所包含的意義。這種方式多半用在漢譯英里。漢語無主句較多，而英語句子一般都要有主語，所以在翻譯漢語無主句的時候，除了少數可用英語無主句、被動語態結構來翻譯以外，一般都要根據語境補出主語，使句子完整。英漢兩種語言在名詞、代詞、連詞、介詞和冠詞的使用方法上也存在很大差別。英語中代詞使用頻率較高，凡說到人的器官和歸某人所有的或與某人有關的事物時，必須在前面加上物主代詞。因此，在漢譯英時需要增補物主代詞，而在英譯漢時又需要根據情況適當地刪減。英語詞與詞、詞組與詞組以及句子與句子的邏輯關系一般用連詞來表示，而漢語則往往通過上下文和語序來表示這種關系。因此，在漢譯英時常常需要增補連詞。英語句子離不開介詞和冠詞。另外，在漢譯英時還要注意增補一些原文中暗含而沒有明言的詞語和一些概括性、注釋性的詞語，以確保譯文意思的完整。總之，通過增譯，一是保證譯文語法結構的完整，二是保證譯文意思的明確。

減譯法：這是與增譯法相對應的一種翻譯方法，即刪去不符合目標語思維習慣、語言習慣和表達方式的詞，以避免譯文累贅。增譯法的例句反之即可。

重復法：指在譯文中重復原句中的關鍵性的詞，以期達到兩個目的：一是清楚；二是強調。從而使譯文有力、生動。

倒譯法：在翻譯時，根據漢語的表達習慣，將原文的語序進行適當的前后調整，叫做倒置法，也叫做倒譯法。（按原語序翻譯的方法，叫做順譯法。）等15種翻譯方法。

翻譯不是精通一門外語，借助于詞典和工具書就能為之的事，缺少對原語文化的深入研究，是很難保證翻譯的水平和質量，而且是一種枯燥乏味的語言翻譯。翻譯要熟悉兩種語言，悟出語言所具有的無比威力，還要透過語言所傳達的信息，了解其背后的文化和精神，從而體會到兩種語言文化的差異。語言不僅僅是信息的載體，還是文化的載體。在翻譯時，我們必須考慮譯文的邏輯性和通順性，最起碼使譯文讀起來不會出現拗口以及很亂的感覺。在翻譯之前，必須仔細地推敲原語言，把原文的每一個單詞都弄懂，然后再運用譯文的邏輯性把這些已經翻譯成譯文的單詞組合在一起，最后理清一下句子的通順性，經過了這一番程序過程之后，一句很通順的句子就這樣精彩地誕生了。句子通順暢達，讀者讀起來朗朗上口，這才體現出翻譯的魅力以及美麗。

總而言之，通過對這門課的學習，我獲益良多。

1.At the foot of the Mt.Huangshan(黃山), in the bend of Xin’an River(新安江), lies the beautiful mountain town called “Tunxi”(“屯溪”).在黃山腳下，新安江灣，坐落著一個美麗的山鎮“屯溪”。

7、The snow scene of the West Lake enjoyed very high praise, especially the view of “melting snow at broken bridge”(“斷橋殘雪”)is unique in the winter of the West Lake.西湖雪景最是為人稱道，而“斷橋殘雪”又為西湖冬季的一處獨特景觀。

8.Why it is called as “malting snow on the broken bridge”, there are different sayings(眾說紛紜).One of them is that it snows almost every winter in Hangzhou.“斷橋殘雪”得名由來，眾說紛紜。一說每至冬令時節，杭州必會白雪皚皚。
