高級口譯筆記——稱謂口譯

一、以“總……”表示的首席長官，可選擇general、chief、head這類詞表示。總書記 general secretary 總工程師 chief engineer 總會計師 chief accountant 總經理 general manager 總代理 general agent 總教練 head coach 二、一些行業的職稱頭銜，直接用“高級”或“資深”來表示，可用“senior”來稱呼。高級記者 senior reporter 高級講師 senior lecturer

三、“首席”英語常用chief來表達。

四、還有一些高級職務帶“長”字，例如： 參謀長 chief of staff 護士長 head nurse 秘書長 secretary-general

第四篇：口譯筆記要則

筆記是高級口譯的關鍵。使用筆記，是為了補充大腦短期記憶和耐久力的不足，以保證譯文的精確度，并保證其不受講話人持續時間的影響。

如果完全依賴記憶，又沒有異常的天賦，即使精力充沛的年青人，也不能勝任高級口譯對精確度和耐久力的要求。實際例子，我在工作中多次碰到過。高級口譯員沒有不靠筆記的。但是，高級口譯使用的筆記與一般的概念，風馬牛不相及。

請注意，每個人的記憶，思維，和反應都有各自的特點。沒有必要全部照搬我的方法。最好用的筆記方式是你自己發展出來的，適合自己的系統。我的介紹是為了給你開個頭，起個指點方向，打開思路的作用。

比如，筆記越簡單，記錄就越迅速。但筆記簡單了，對短期記憶的要求就相對提高了。所以，筆記多少為最佳，因人而易，需要摸索出適合于自己的平衡。

要點是：

1.少寫多劃。劃線條比寫文字快。線條形象，相當于翻譯的“半成品”，有助譯員眼看筆記，口出譯文。兩種情況下應該盡量用線條：

表示動作和動態的詞句。比如，以上升的斜線代表“發展”，“增加”，“進步”,“進一步”；以下降的斜線代表“減少”，“下降”，“惡化”等等。

表示因果或前后關系的詞句。比如，用一條線代表“因為/所以”，“…之后”，“在…之前”，以體現出上下前后之間的關聯關系。

2.少字多意。養成一個詞的筆記不超過一個字的習慣。中文里有大量的詞匯是由兩個，或兩個以上的字組成。只要看到其中一個，你的短期記憶就應該能夠補齊其余的字。不必多寫。比如，“中國”最多寫個“中”。“北京”最多寫個“北”。英文詞也同理處理。“politics” 最多寫“poli”，“government”最多寫“gov”，等等。另外，需要培養以筆記與記憶互動；看到一個字能說出幾個字，甚至一串詞的能力。在有上下文的情況下，這不難。比如，談中國的近況，聽到“改革，開放”記一個“改”字，不難從短期記憶中說出原文。聽到“British Prime Minister Tony Blair”，記“PM”，也同樣能說出原文。

3.少線多指。通用一小組線條/標記。否則在自己本來熟悉的中英文之外，又編出一套自己不熟悉的文碼使用，會導致需要想一想用哪個符號的情況，適得其反。

4.少橫多豎。采取從上往下的階梯結構記錄，盡量少用通常書寫時的橫向記錄。階梯結構形象地體現出上下文的邏輯結構，簡化了譯員的思維過程，方便出譯文。

5.快速書寫。必須發展自己的漢字快速書寫系統。口譯筆記完全是自己看，而且只需要幾分鐘之內能看懂就行。很多漢字筆劃減少后，并不影響確認。我這里講的不是潦草，而是除了實際口譯經常不得不潦草之外，花一些時間，把練習中或口譯工作中常用的字琢磨一下，看看可以怎樣減少筆劃，或理順筆劃，一筆成字。

6.明確結束。口譯中，講話人說一段，停下來讓譯員譯一段，然后再繼續。這樣，上一段話和下一段話之間，必須有明確的界限。上一次的結束點，就成了下一次翻譯的開始點。其重要性在于，如果筆記是從本子的1/3處開始的，下一段話可能寫了2-3頁，翻回來口譯時，眼光無法確定這頁上面哪一條線，或符號是這次翻譯內容的開始點。所以需要標明。我剛入門時學的是每次講話人結束時劃一道線。后來發現，從講話人收口，到我作為譯員不得不開口的那段時間非常寶貴，經常被用來補充筆記，舍不得用來劃結束線。后來，我就干脆把這道手續推遲到我說完譯文。由于從我說完，到講話人再開始這段時間在我掌握之內，所以我說完時，順手劃一道線，再示意講話人繼續講。

另外，我覺得劃線不夠清楚，所以現在改為一個圓圈再一橫線。

最后，講一下所需裝備。

建議你使用帶有活頁圈的筆記本，見下列照片。有活頁圈才能來回翻倒方便。筆記本大小以自己感覺舒服為準。我喜歡用英國制的A5開。躺在我的巴掌上不大不小，剛剛好。只是英國這些為速記設計的本子印有橫桿。空白頁更為理想。

持筆記本的手勢見下列照片。記完一頁，翻過去一頁。講話人收口后，一把抓地全部翻回來，落眼處正是這個段子的開頭。然后，譯一頁，翻過去一頁。這段譯完后，把翻過去的幾頁一把壓在手掌中。這等于是用手掌把已經翻完的，和下一段的筆記清楚分開。這點很重要。否則，很容易出現講話人收口后，你來回翻找本段首頁的難堪局面。

如果是坐在桌前，筆記本放在桌面上，也是記完一頁，翻過去一頁。也千萬不要忘記在講話人開口說下一段之前，把已經翻完的筆記頁壓到筆記本下。

筆，我建議用按壓式的。這樣，一手持本，另一手隨時都可以掏出筆來，一按就開始記。如果是旋轉開蓋的筆，則需要兩只手操作。如果筆套不緊的，還時不時要掉，很分心。我長年慣帶兩支筆，多次免遭墨水用盡之難。

在這里，我將舉實例介紹我的筆記方法，以及我如何以筆記與大腦短期記憶互動的方式保證譯文的精確度。

由于口譯條件的限制，其精確度不能以筆譯的尺度衡量，也沒有必要這樣做。口譯的聽眾與筆譯的讀者，需求不同，預期也不同。

由于使用實例講解，無法把口譯要點分門別類地舉例。我將順著例子講下去。講完之后，各項要點也就都包括其中了。

人腦思維速度極快，一閃而過的念頭，解說起來會顯得繁雜。不過，我希望你能在開始時，多一點耐心。很快你就會發現，我的講解讀起來似乎繁雜，但背后的思路，也就是說一旦使用起來，要明快得多。

開始前，提醒一下，不要忘了筆記是必需和記憶互動的。二者缺一不可。以下的實例解說，均以此為基礎。

講話原文

Following the 1997 election, in which the Labour Party came to power, the macroeconomic policy framework has been reformed.第一層次：一個箭頭，加97，再加“選”，足以幫助短期記憶，說出譯文：“1997年大選之后”。

第二層次：一個“工”加圓圈，提醒“工”字后面還有話。另外，一條垂直線體現出第二層與第一層有關聯。此后一個箭頭，再加“權”，足以幫助短期記憶，說出譯文：“工黨上臺掌權”。

第三層次：一個“M”加圓圈，提醒“M”字后面還有話。從短期記憶中回顧出 “宏觀經濟框架”。

接著，一條橫線體現關聯，線后一個“改”字，于是補齊譯文：“對宏觀經濟框架進行了改革”。

最后劃圈，帶橫桿，表示本段講話到此結束。

備注：使用的4個漢字都經過“理順”。其中2個是一筆成字。

The aim of this reform is to help provide a framework for improved macroeconomic stability and economic growth.承上啟下：一劃從上段的“改”字左斜拉下來，接著往右一拐彎。足以從短期記憶中回顧出：“改革的目的”。

第一層次：寫一個 “框”字。從短期記憶中順著上文，不難說出：“是為了提供一個框架”。

屆此，聽到“improved”，隨之劃一條上行箭頭，再補一個“M”加圈，提醒“M”字后面還有話。這樣就不難說出：“以改善宏觀經濟穩定”。

若擔心“M”不夠，則可以加“穩”字，或一條水平橫線代表之。

第二層次：此時，已聽到“and economic growth”，于是在“M”之下寫“經”字，或“E”外帶上弧線。這就不難說出：“促進經濟增長”。

最后劃個圈，順手一橫桿，表示本段講話到此結束。

備注：采用了同傳里的斷句和變通技巧，在“框架”后斷句，“improved”翻做“改善”；加“經濟增長”前加“促進”兩字完句。

I would like to explain the key features of the UK economic policy framework, identify the key institutions, their leaders and their main responsibilities.There are three main institutions.第一層次：首先寫一個理順過的“我”字，一橫桿代表所做之事，寫一個“特”字加圈，提醒字后有話。至此不難說出：“我想解釋一下”。

第二層次：誰的特點呢，正好是下一層的意思，于是，劃垂直線表示關聯，寫“U” 加圈代表英國，接著寫“E”，如感不夠，再加“P”。既然前面已經寫過“框”字，回手一條斜線代表之。至此已不難說出：“英國經濟政策框架的特點”。

第三層次：此時聽到“identify the key…”，警覺到這是與上文排比，立刻從“我”劃下斜線，線尾接著寫“機”加圈，提醒字后有話。據此不難說出：“指出主要機構”。

此時聽到“their leaders”，順手一橫桿，寫“領”字。

此時聽到“their main responsibilities”，順手又一橫桿，寫“責”字。至此不難說出：“他們的領導人，他們的主要職責”。

此時聽到“there are three main institutions”，順手劃下斜線，寫“3”。據此不難說出：“一共有三個主要機構”。

最后劃個圈，順手一橫桿，表示本段講話到此結束。

講話原文

第二層次：順手劃垂直線表示關聯，寫“全”字加圈，提醒字后有話。此時聽到“and…”，知道是并排關系，一條下斜線，寫“P” 加圈，提醒字后有話。此時又聽到“in particular”，在右下角重劃兩道，表示強調。至此不難說出：“財政部負責整體經濟框架，尤其是財政政策”。

第三層次：聽到“it is lead by…”，順手一條左斜線，右拐彎，寫“大”加圈，寫“GB”，接著劃下斜線聯寫“選”字。就此不難說出：“財政部由布朗大臣領導。他是當選的政界人士”。

第四層次：聽到“he”，還是他，順手從“GB”下端再劃一條下斜線，表示支持關系，接著寫“4”，如不放心再加“部”。據此不難說出：“他由4位次長支持工作”。

最后劃個圈，順手一橫桿，表示本段講話到此結束。

舉例講解，告一段落。我的筆記，及其使用方法說簡單，也就這么簡單。但難在于能夠熟練應用。而熟練應用來自于大量練習。
