Dear Mr.President,I am writing this letter to you to express my concern about the sportsfacilities on campus.I have noticed that our university has very limitedresources in terms of opportunities to participate in sports, especially giventhat the number of students on campus is increasing every year.As we both know, sports are very important for the sound growth of youngpeople. If they have access to quality sports facilities, young people are ableto choose a healthier lifestyle, to boost self-esteem and confidence, and tobuild a positive outlook and sense of achievement. My proposal is to build a new sports area.It should be designed withsoccer players, basketball players, and ping-pong players in mind.It shouldhave a different section for each activity and be available to students all yearround.I believe such facilities will meet our sporting needs.Thank you for your reading this letter.Yours faithfully,Li Ming
Dear Mr.President,I'm a student in our university.I am writing this letter to inform you ofthe canteen service on our campus.Generally speaking, we are not content with the canteen service in ouruniversity. The reasons are as follows:
First, although quality of the dishes is not bad, yet, most of the dishesremain unchanged all the year round.More and more students are complainingabout eating the same food every day.So I think variety of the food is the mosturgent problem that should be solved.Second, the environment is not the same as we desire. Many students alwaystalk so loudly that we can't enjoy our meals. So I suggest that there be someslogans on the wall to remind them to be quiet, and some soft background musicto help us relax.By the way the canteen workers are very patient in providing us with theservice. So I think they should be given more incentive to offer us betterservice in the future. The above mentioned are not just what I think, but the idea of many of myclassmates'.We will be very glad if you can take our suggestions intoconsideration.Best wishes,Yours Sincerely Li Ming

Dear Headmaster,I'm writing this letter simply to tell you something about the canteenservice in our school.I'm the minister from the life department of the Students'Union. In general, the service is satisfactory. The dishes look inviting and tastedelicious as well. The price of the meals is OK for us and the variety of disheschanges every week. What's more, the workers there treat us as their friends, which makes us feel very happy. However, we often have to stand in line for a long time before we can getthe meal. You could understand how precious time is to us students. Therefore, may I suggest something be done to solve the problems such as the dish qualityand surroundings so that we can all enjoy our meals at school?
Thanks for your consideration.Sincerely yours,Li Ming

Dear Mr.President,My name is Li Ming, a sophomore majoring in International Trade.Havinglearned and lived on campus for nearly two years, I have found university lifemost exciting and instructive. What happens around me every day has left a deep impression on me, but whatstrikes me most is the canteen service on campus, so that for some time I havehad the keen desire to write to you, sharing with you my positive comments onand negative feelings about it.On the one hand, we are happy to see that thecanteen staff has been sparing no efforts to guarantee food quality. As aresult, we are relieved from the anxiety that some food might be dirty, staleand inedible. We also feel contented with the service provided by the canteen, enjoying food in a homely atmosphere. On the other hand, improvements should bemade for the simple reason that prices for dishes are unreasonably high, andthat the canteen is not spacious enough and too noisy at times. Therefore, to improve the overall service of the canteen the strengthsshould be encouraged, while the weaknesses ought to be overcome by loweringprices and expanding the canteen if possible.

Dear Headmaster,As the minister of students' life in the Student Union,I am writing to youto reflect something about our canteen. To our satisfaction, the canteen supplies us with various kinds of food.Thisgives us many choices. At the same time the price for the food is low and thefood is tasty. And the surroundings for having a meal have been improved.Thecanteen has become clean. And when we are eating,we can watch TV.But something unsatisfactory exists, too. For example, the quantity of ahelping is less than it should be.This is unfair. And in the canteen, the seatsare not enough. Some students have to stand while eating. We hope that the schoolwill consider addingmore seats for us.Finally we hope that they can improve the quality of the food and their
service. We will be very happy if our advice is taken.
Dear Mr.President,As a regular student at our college,I have some complaint to make aboutthe canteen service on campus.Frstly, the canteen environment is very bad.Actually,it is becoming moreand more crowded and noisy with an ever larger presence of vocational studentsevery term.Secondly, the canteen workers are bad-mannered.Far from being warmand kind-hearted,they always seem to be cold and rude to us students.Thirdlyand most importantly, the dishes at our canteen are too expensive, though theyare by no means good quality or delicious. The survey the Student Union carriedout last week reveals that on average a student will spend 10 to 12 yuan onmeals every day. This is for more than the food expenses of students in theneighborhood colleges.Nutritious and delicious meals well within the students' means are veryimportant for young students.I really wish measures could be taken to improveour canteen service.
