英語教學工作總結

時間總是在充實的工作中過去得飛快。一轉眼,一學期又即將結束了,回顧過去這一學期的英語教學工作,有收獲的喜悅與甘甜,但也有挫折時的彷徨與無奈,但這些心靈的歷程使得我更加熱愛自己所從事的這份教育工作。為了能夠查缺補漏,取人之長補已之短,以利于在今后更好地開展自己的工作,在此對本學期的教

學工作作了一點總結。

本學年教學工作即將結束,對我的工作做如下總結。今年,我任教八年級四班的英語,經過一學期的學習,他們的學習目的明確,比較好學,成績有所提高;學習態度認真,基礎知識比較扎實,課堂氣氛比較活躍。英語是中學生的一門主課,無論是學校、家長還是學生都很重視它,但是不少學生覺得這門功課單調枯燥,學起來吃力,甚至有不少學生放棄了它。究其原因,是學生對英語學習的接觸面小,說練機會少,以及他與中文的部分反差的諸多因素,使得學生對英語學習常常存在“厭、怕、棄”的不健康的心理。這使我不得不改進教學方法。

第一、確立與新課程相適應的教育觀念。

學生是學習的主體,老師不能代替學生讀書,代替學生感知,代替學生觀察、分析、思考,代替學生明白任何一個道理和掌握任何一條規律。老師只能讓學生自己讀書,自己感受事物,自己觀察、分析、思考,從而明白任何一個道理和掌握任何一條規律。于是我改變“一言堂”,把課堂還給學生,形成師生交往、積極互動、共同發展的教學過程。

第二、使學生明白學習目的。

要學好英語,首先要使學生認識到學這一語言的目的和意義。眾所周知,人類社會已經進入了21世紀,新的世界將是個充滿競爭和多變的世紀,中國要在跨世紀的競爭中取得主動,中華民族要騰飛,要最終取決于優秀科技人才的涌現。如果我們不懂英語,怎么去了解世界?只有學生自覺地把自己的理想與祖國的前途和命運聯系起來,才會對英語學習真正感興趣,這種興趣也有可能轉為學習英語的動力。因此我結合本班學生的實際情況,通讀和節選教材,圍繞著最簡單、最基本、最常用的英語詞匯、句型、交際會話等進行教學,使學生對英語產生興趣,形成學習動機。

第三,努力建立融洽的師生關系。

相對來說,初中生比小學生獨立性強,自尊心也逐漸增強,渴望得到尊重。師生之間只有互相尊重,互相信任,才能建立起友好關系,從而促進學生學習的興趣。所以我必須樹立正確的學生觀,正確認識學生的主體地位。我用自己滿腔的愛去關心、尊重學生,耐心細致地指導學生,主動和他們交流,談心,使自己成為學生歡迎和愛戴的人。上課時我是學生的老師,循循善誘和激發學生學習的積極性,大膽求異創新;課后我卻成為他們的好朋友,無話不談,亮起心靈之光;生活上,我是他們的父母,關懷備至。

第四,嚴謹治學,保持良好的教態。

教師的教風直接影響學生的學風。對課堂駕馭的一言一行,無時無刻不在影響著學生。所以我提高自己的思想認識,做到愛崗敬業,學而不厭,誨人不倦,為人師表,治學嚴謹,還要保持良好的教態。老師的教學語言和教態對學生的學習有直接的影響。老師的教態好,學生就喜歡,他們聽課的興趣就高,接受知識也快。反之,學生就不喜歡,甚至討厭。特別是正處于青春期的初中生,看問題開始有可獨立的見解,對他們更要注意教態和教學語言的使用。如我介紹新句型時,我利用語言的輕重,語調的高低,和一定的動作表情,盡量引起學生的注意和興趣。當學生回答問題時,我的表情變得自然親切,讓他們感受到老師對他們的信任,這樣學生就增添了勇氣,就能大膽地回答問題。

第五、積極創造語言情景。

目前教材充分吸收了國際上新的外語教學理念和實踐經驗,注重對學生綜合語言能力的培養和訓練,強調以學生為主體的有意義的語言實踐活動,為教學營造了輕松愉快、積極向上的學習氛圍。教材圖文并茂,安排了大量生動有趣的活動內容,使英語學習變得容易而有趣。教材圍繞著實用的話題,逐步開展教學內容和實踐活動,符合中學生的年齡、心理特征和學習語言的規律。它強調運用任務型教學法把探究性學習引入外語學習中,使學生主動融入創造性的、有意義的整體語言學習中。所以我想方設法創設語言情景以激發學生的求知欲,從而提高他們的學習興趣。在聽與說中培養語言能力,在聽與說中激發學生的熱情和興趣。不足之處:目前任務型教學法是新課程理念下的創新教學法中的最重要一種它也是交際法的發展。教師是活動的設計者,組織者,學生是交際者。在課堂上我總怕學生吃不飽,不知不覺地講多了,沒有給學生思考的空間;知識傳授比重大,語言實踐不足等等。今后我積極加強自身的課程改革理論學習,轉變教育理念,建立以學生為本的教育觀念,樹立活動教學觀,爭取做一名具有現代素養的人民教師。

經過一個學期的努力,月考就是一種考驗。無論成績高低,都體現了我在這學一學期的教學成果。我明白這并不是最重要的,重要的是在今后如何自我提高,如何共同提高學生的英語水平。因此,無論怎樣辛苦,我都會繼續努力,多問,多想,多向前輩學習,爭取進步。以上就是我在本學期的教學工作總結。由于經驗頗淺,許多地方存在不足,希望在未來的日子里,能在各位領導老師,前輩的指導下,取得更好成績。
