漢譯英翻譯實踐心得

令人毛骨悚然的漢譯英終于還是來了。近兩個月的學習讓我從對漢譯英的一竅不通到現在盡管不能手到擒來但總算入一點門了。漢譯英的難點主要在于思維方式的不同，每當看到一句漢語，我能想到的幾乎都是Chinglish。按照漢語的思維、漢語的語法和句式讀來索然無味，中國人講儒家思想、偏注政治倫理，重視“群己合一”，而英美文化由于地理環境因素對天文地理頗有研究，倡導個人主義。在英語中的固定搭配我們也要小心加小心，不能生搬硬套，比如說濃茶、濃墨、濃煙，這三個“濃”在不同搭配中有不同的修飾角色，我們要想到被修飾詞的屬性以此合理搭配，分別為：strong tea, thick ink, dense smoke。此人是書就讀，翻譯成英語：This man reads every book he can reach。看見這句翻譯第一反應是無從下手，想換句話、換個出發點，想到這個人啥書都看，思路就稍微清晰了一些。看到譯文中用了every, 突然覺得醍醐灌頂。最近兩周，我們學了句子主語的確定，因為漢語和英語側重點不用，往往要重新確定主語，這一確定我發現這真是個天大的好方法，對于那些沒有主語的漢語句子，可以另辟蹊徑，重新確定句子結構。一群人立刻把他困住了，向他提出了一個又一個的問題。Very soon he was surrounded by a crowd and was snowed under with questions。這句話深刻地給了我巨大的震撼，老師在課堂上說這句話很多人會用“一群人”作主語，但是主要寫的卻是“這個人”，所以“he”作主語真的是天經地義，按照這個思路我總算有了點進步，發現翻譯更像是在繪作，值得琢磨值得研究值得花心血，任重道遠啊，我會一直努力的。相信勤能補拙，先去背《政府工作報告》了。
