(Para.1)眾所周知，作為秘書，我們在上司身邊工作。我們應該清楚了解上司的工作風格和性情，甚至是在我們還未吩咐之前就應該知道上司期望我們做什么。我們要謹記的一件事是上司和我們的做事方式不同。我們應該適應上司的工作風格并想方設法和他們建立良好的關系。對員工來說,在公司擁有良好的工作環境是很理想的。以下是秘書應該謹記在心的一些要點。

(Para.2)謹記我們的上司只是普通人而不是完美的人。上司和我們都有自己的優缺點，有自信的地方也有怯弱的地方。有時上司可能在說話做事的時候有不合理的地方。我們應該盡量理解并幫助他們，因為我們在工作中都面對不同的挑戰也肩負不同的期望。我們應當把上司當成領導的同時也要把他當成普通人看待。

(Para.3)謹記我們的上司可能并不像看起來那么自信。作為一個肩負眾多責任的上司并不容易。如果上司在他們有把握的范圍內工作時-（在他們擁有良好的培訓和經驗的職責范圍內）-他們的工作就可能很有效率；否則，他們可能經歷內在的恐懼和挫敗，因此可能會缺乏自信。這種內心的沖突可能導致他們對我們的態度和期望變得不合理，甚至無理地責備我們。通過批評我們，他會感覺到自己強大一點。即使這是消極的態度，我們也要接受并尋求方法幫助上司減輕潛在的壓力和缺失感。謹記我們的目標是和上司成為雙人團隊。
