第五篇：淺談新概念英語

看到論壇中的網友都在找新概念美語版的錄音，可能與現在的大部分聽力材料都是美語有關(如voa toefl)。不過我推薦大家使用由英國longman公司錄制的新概念，原因很簡單，這套錄音根據不同的英語水平設計了不同的時速，從第一冊的每分鐘約100歌單詞到第二冊的每分鐘120-140個單詞，再到第三四冊的每分鐘150-160個單詞，使學習者逐漸熟悉適應正常的說話速度，設計較為合理，而不象一般的錄音都是一個速度。同時該錄音采用的是Received Pronunciation。即BBC所使用的standerd English，有利于大家以后適應收聽BBC。

另外一個大家比較關心的問題是對聽慣了英國英語后會否聽不懂美語，實際這種擔心是不必要的，我還沒聽說哪個英國人聽不懂美國話，從我的實踐來看也不存在這種問題，二者雖有差異，但并非很大。同時許多網友聽VOA沒有問題了，再聽BBC也不存在聽不懂的問題。

第二個大家比較關心的是發音問題。實話實說，不論你學的是美語還是英語，對于大部分不是從幼兒時期就說英語的人，你所發出的永遠是中國腔的英語，只不過是程度上的差異而已。同時許多專家也提倡在學英語的初期學習英國英語，因為英國英語的發音比較規范，容易養成良好正確的發音習慣。而且從英語改說美語也并不難，找幾部美國電影，跟著里邊的臺詞說幾遍，你的發音就會大大的得以改變。

第三點我想強調的是大家在學新概念時所忽視的一點，就是新概念同時也是訓練大家提高寫作水平的一本好教程，大家仔細看一看每課后的寫作練習，從最簡單的簡單句寫起，一步一步引導你寫出較復雜的句子，再到不提供提示，獨立寫出句子和段落，循序漸進，為大家的英語寫作打下堅實的基礎。
