拋開整個故事結構和邏輯不說,光是里面的配樂和畫面,就已經勾起內心太多的美感和共鳴:在影片開頭,男主角Donnie Darko一路騎著自行車穿梭,配樂 是INXS的《Never Tear Us Apart》,歌詞和旋律都如此美妙應景“Don't ask me what you know is true, don't have to tell you,I love your precious heart”、“tow worlds collided and they could never tear us apart” 歌詞也從側面預示著一些事情即將鋪展開來……Donnie一到學校那段,啟用了Tears For Fears的《Head Over Heels》,光是前奏簡潔的和弦搭配 就特別吸引我,配合著青春與張揚的畫面,流動的人物心理色彩和流動的旋律,懷舊的感覺里還有種青春永保在心的美感。而最后結尾用的Gary Jules的《Mad World》,“The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had.I find it hard to tell you , I find it hard to take. When people run in circles,It's a very very Mad world……”。
Carpe

Dead Poets Society Who are you? What are you doing? What do you want? Many of us are losing ourselves because of the reality, frustration, the pressure or the authority. In fact, we are just like a chess, for others have arranged all for you.We spend a lot of time in those things we do not like. However, we are immature. We choose silence or choose to force ourselves to like it.We ourselves never dare to say “NO” loud, or never master our life in our hand.Perhaps, you will defend for yourself, “This is no other way to do ”;Perhaps you will say, “Now that everything looks the same, can I be unique ”; Perhaps you will say, “This is the reality, and no one can beat it”;perhaps, very likely, you will become one of them and establish the authority of parents to educate your children. You have become a loyal defender of authority. There is an old golden Chinese saying: No one can exist who resists me.However, all in all, cannot it change? 《Dead Poets Society》tells me that nothing is impossible. At that time, nothing is more important than yielding. What you have to do is to obey discipline and authority. To Rebel means no good results. In that old church school, in the solemn opening ceremony, taught by an

restraint.Neil's death is a tragedy. However, to win the war, something must be sacrificed.I was impressed by the scene. Finally, students stood one by one on the desk to speak for Mr.Keating.Though Mr.Keating would not be back again, his impact on students will exist forever.I think that their life will certainly become unusual and significant from now on.At last, I want to dedicate some words to you.It is when Mr Keating led the students to find the meaning of life when reading Thoreau's poetry:
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, and not when I had come to die, discovered that I had not lived.Carpe Diem!

Oh ,captain ,my captain!

Becuase believe or not, each one of us in this room is one day going to stop breathing, turn cold and die.I'd like you to step forward of you and peruse some of the faces from the past. They're not that different from you , are they? Same haircuts.Full of hormones.Just like you.Invincible just like you fell. The world is their oyster. They belive they're destined for great things, just like many of you, their eyes are full of hope, just like you.Did they wait until it was too late to make from their lives evenone iota of what they were capable? Because, you see gentelman, these boys are now fertilising daffodils. But if you listen real close, you can hear them whisper their legacy to you.Go on, lean in.Listen, you hear it ? Carpe...hear it?...Carpe, carpe diem, seize the day, boys, make your lives extrordinary。
To fully understand poetry, we must first be fluent with its meter, rhyme and figures of speech, then ask two questions: 1)How artfully has the objective of the poem been rendered and 2)How important is that objective?
We're not laying pipe。
Only in their dreams can men be truly free。

We don't read and write poetry because it's cute.We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering--these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love--these are what we stay alive for。
The Dead Poets was dedicated to “sucking the marrow out of life”。
We weren't a Greek organization. We were Romantics. We didn't just read poetry, we let it drip from our tongues like honey.Spirits soared, women swooned and gods were created。
I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately.I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life.To put to rout all that was not life, and not, when I had come to die, discover that I had not lived。
(Alfred Lord Tennyson)Come my friends, 'Tis not too late to seek a newer world for my purpose holds to sail beyond the sunset. And though we are not now that strength which in old days Moved earth and heaven;that which we are, we are;--One equal temper of heroic hearts, Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will.To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield。
Then I had religion, then I had a vision.I could not turn from their revel in derision. Then I saw the Congo creeping through the black, cutting through the forest with a golden track。
language was developed for one endeavor, and that is?
To communicate...No,to woo women。
Carpe

we must constantly look at things in a different way。
Just when you think you know something, you have to look at it in another way.Even though it may seem silly or wrong, you must try! Now, when you read, don't just consider what the author thinks.Consider what you think。
Boys, you must strive to find your own voice.Because the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are to find it at all。
Most men lead lives of quiet desperation。(Thoreau)Don't be resigned to that.Break out!Don't just walk off the edge like lemmings。
For me, sport is actually a chance for us to have other human beings push us to excel。
Oh to struggle against great odds.To meet enemies undaunted。
To be a sailor of the world, bound for all ports。
Oh, I live to be the ruler of life, not a slave。
To mount the scaffolds. To advance to the muzzle of guns with perfect nonchalance。
To dance, clap hands, exalt, shout, skip, roll on, float on。
Oh, to have life henceforth the poem of new joys。
To indeed be a god!
Carpe
Diem!
I see a sweetness in her smile.Blight light shines from her eyes. But life is complete;contentment is mine, Just knowing that...just knowing that she's alive。
Sometimes the most beautiful poetry can be about simple things.Just don't let your poems be ordinary。
I sound my barbaric yawp over the rooftops of the world。
I close my eyes.this image floats beside me。
A sweaty-toothed madman with a stare that pounds my brain。
His hands reach out and choke me。
他一直在念叨真理all the time he's mumbling.Truth。
Truth is like, like a blanket that always leaves your feet cold. You push it, stretch it, it'll never be enough. You kick at it, beat it, it'll never cover any of us.From the moment we enter crying to the moment we leave dying, it will just cover your face as you wail and cry and scream。
the difficulty in maintaining your own beliefs in the face of others。
we all have a great need for acceptance. But you must trust that your beliefs are unique, your own, even though others may think them odd or unpopular, even though the herd may go。
I want you to find your own walk right now.Your own way of striding, pacing.Any direction.Anything you want.Whether it's proud, whether it's silly, anything.Gentlemen, the courtyard is yours。
You don't have to perform.Just make it for yourself。
Swim against the stream。

Performance:
Generally speaking ,every role did a great performance but what I want to say something about Mr.Keating.The plot centers on the influence of Mr.Keating, a young and exciting English and poetry teacher, who is determined to teach his students to live life with absolute passion.Mr.Keating, using poetry as his tool, teaches his students to challenge the institutions around them.? My view: I was impressed by the last scene. Finally, students stood one by one on the desk to speak for Mr.Keating.Though Mr.Keating would not be back again, his impact on students will exist forever.I think that their life will certainly become unusual and significant from now on.At last, I want to dedicate some words to you.It is when Mr Keating led the students to find the meaning of life when reading Thoreau's poetry: I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, and not when I had come to die, discovered that I had not lived. To me,seize all to find out the meaning of life and one day the world will be different because of you.Carpe
Diem!
