Climate change and I
The United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, the Danish capital, held in December 2009, made the subject of climate warming as the world's most hot topic of the global environmental field.The phenomenon of global warming appeared as early as the second half of the last century, concerned by scientists around the world, while during three decades nearly, the warming trend has not changed but increased, bringing a series of serious results.However, faced with global warming, different people have different views.Some people believe that global warming is entirely nature's own laws, with which human activity has nothing to do;someother people recognize it’s being more hot but believe that it will not lead to that serious consequences the scientists imagined.In my opinion, there is no doubt that global warming and human activities are closely related.Since the result of climate warming is very serious, we need to make effective action to control global warming.The following will be divided into five parts, the first section is the introduction, and the second one will analyze why human activity causes global warming;the third part will analyze the serious consequences of global warming;the fourth part will discuss that what human beings, especially ordinary people can do for the control of global warming;the last part is a summary text of this essay.Earth observations indicate that climate warming is mainly caused by human activity, which may be a good thing as it shows that human beings can work to change the trend of global warming.Although we can not rule out natural variability is also a reason of climate warming, but the observed climate change in the past few decades is likely mainly caused by human activity, which caused a great mass of carbon dioxide.Human factors include the rapid increase in population, the use of fossil fuels, all of which will bring a lot of carbon dioxide.And the same result would be caused by the destruction of forests, because forests have ability of absorbing carbon dioxide.Human activity leading to climate warming is mainly industrial production activities, particularly in the developed industrialized countries, however people's daily life, such as the use of air conditioners, contribute to climate warming as well.Those who believe that human activity does not cause global warming people, either is poor of scientific knowledge, or is no sense of responsibility for the security of all humanity and the survival of future generations.Then, let us take a look at global warming in terms of what kind of disaster it means for human.According to the scientists predict, climate warming will lead to a series of serious consequences, including the followings.First, the Earth will have more space to become ocean, floods are becoming increasingly frequent.The chance of flooding suffered and other natural disasters will increase;the capacity of human
beings against these disasters will be challenged.Second, the water temperature increasing could make the Antarctic Peninsula and the Arctic Ocean ice melt, which is the direct cause of rising sea levels, polar bears and walrus are likely to die out at the same time.Thirdly, many small islands and coastal cities will be inundated, while the world's population live in the largest cities like New York, Shanghai, Mumbai, Tokyo, most of which locating on the coast side, which means that if temperatures continue to rise, the vast majority of people have to move to higher altitude areas.Fourth, people will suffer the food shortage, because agricultural production is deeply dependent on climate.Climate warming will make many places dry, hot, not suitable for planting crops.A severe food problem will become even more severe.From the serious consequences climate warming will bring about, we can see, human beings must act to combat global warming as controlling global warming is related to global human survival.Finally, to face climate warming, mankind is not the inability to be able to, because human activity is the main reason for global warming, as the Chinese saying goes put it, “ Let him who tied the bell on the tiger take it off ”, human beings can control the climate warming, as long as they ready.So, what human beings should do to reduce carbon dioxide emissions to control global warming then? For the politicians from various countries, who run the world, is to reach a consensus for responding to the problem of global warming.Developed countries should, through financial and technical assistance, help developing countries improve their capabilities to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.Ordinary people like me, can also contribute to controlling global warming.For example, we should reduce the use of disposable chopsticks, which will help to reduce deforestation;we should reduce the use of air conditioners, refrigerators and other appliances, which will directly reduce carbon dioxide emissions;we should choose to walk or ride a bicycle at most time instead of the ride on cars and other motor vehicles, to reduce energy use and ultimately reduce carbon dioxide emissions.We can really do so many things as long as we want to;if everyone make a little bit of contribution, controlling global warming is no longer impossible.In conclusion, the scientific observations indicate that climate warming is mainly due to excessive carbon dioxide emissions caused by human activities;climate warming will bring a variety of serious consequences include sea-level rise;the common human need immediate action to reduce carbon dioxide emissions to curb global warming.As long as each of us is making efforts towards this goal, we were able to better control global warming to make the environment more suitable for the survival of humanity.2009年12月份在丹麥首都哥本哈根召開的聯(lián)合國氣候變化大會使氣候變暖這一話題成為全球環(huán)境領域最受關注的話題。氣候變暖的現(xiàn)象早在上世紀下半葉就受到全世界科學家們的關注,而近二三十年來,氣候變暖的趨勢并未改變,反而有加劇的跡象,并帶來了一系列的嚴重后果。然而面對氣候變暖,不同的人有不同的觀點。有的人認為氣候變暖完全是大自然的自身規(guī)律,與人類活動無關;也有的人認為氣候變暖并不會導致科學家們想象的那么嚴重的后果。在我看來,氣候變暖毫無疑問與人類活動是有很大關系的,而且氣候變暖的結果非常嚴重,我們必須做出有效的行動以控制氣候變暖。以下將分四部分,第一部分將分析為什么人類活動是氣候變暖的原因;第二部分將分析氣候變暖的嚴重后果;第三部分則將論述人們特別是普通人在日常生活中可以為控制氣候變暖做什么貢獻;最后一部分總結全文。
科學觀測表明,氣候變暖主要是由人類活動引起的,這對人類來說可能是一件好事,因為這表明人們可以通過努力改變氣候變暖的趨勢。雖然我們不能排除氣候變暖也是自然變化的結果,但是在過去的幾十年中所觀測到的氣候變化很可能主要是由人類活動引起的,也就是人類活動不斷增加的二氧化碳所導致的。人為因素包括人口的激增、使用化石燃料,這些活動都會排放大量的二氧化碳,而對森林的毀壞同樣導致空氣中二氧化碳的增加,因為森林具有吸收二氧化碳的功能。在人類活動中對氣候變暖影響最大的是工業(yè)生產活動尤其是發(fā)達工業(yè)化國家的工業(yè)生產活動,與此同時人們日常生活,如使用空調等都在對氣候變暖做出貢獻。那些認為人類活動不會引起氣候變暖的人們,要么是科學知識不夠,要么是對全人類以及子孫后代的生存安全沒有責任感。
然后,讓我們先來看看氣候變暖對于人類而言意味著什么樣的災難。據(jù)科學家們預測,氣候變暖引起一系列的惡性后果,主要包括:第一,水域面積增大,洪水泛濫。地球將有更多的面積成為海洋以及河流,雨季將延長,水災正變得越來越頻繁。遭受洪水泛濫的機會增大、遭受風暴影響的程度和嚴重性加大,人類對抗水災的能力將面臨挑戰(zhàn)。第二,水溫升高可能會給南極半島和北冰洋的冰雪融化,兩極冰山的融化是海平面上升的直接原因,同時北極熊和海象有可能滅絕。第三,許多小島和海濱城市也將被淹沒,而全世界人口最集中的大城市如紐約、上海、孟買、東京等都位于海岸邊,這意味著如果氣溫繼續(xù)上升,絕大多數(shù)人都要搬家到海拔更高的地區(qū)。第四,糧食生產面臨挑戰(zhàn),因為農業(yè)生產對氣候依賴程度很高。氣候變暖將使靠近地球上很多地區(qū)變得干旱和炎熱,不適宜種植莊稼,這將使糧食生產受到嚴重影響,現(xiàn)在已經嚴峻的糧食問題將變得更加嚴峻。氣候變暖將帶來嚴重后果,由此可見,控制氣候繼續(xù)變暖,關乎全球人類的生存,人類必須行動起來,對抗氣候變暖。
最后,面對氣候變暖,人類并非無能為能,因為人類活動是氣候變暖的主要原因,正如中國一句古語所言“解鈴還須寄鈴人”,人類可以控制氣候變暖,只要他們愿意。那么,人類應該怎樣做才能減少二氧化碳的排放從而控制氣候變暖呢?對于世界各國的政治家們來說,就是要達成共識,共同應對,發(fā)達國家應該通過資金和技術援助發(fā)展中國家提高減少二氧化碳排放以控制氣候變暖的能力。而對于像我這樣的大學生來說,同樣也能為控制全球氣候變暖做出貢獻。例如,我們要減少使用一次性筷子,這將有助于減少對森林的砍伐;我們要減少使用空調、冰箱等電器,這將直接減少二氧化碳的排放;我們要減少乘坐汽車等機動車國內,盡量步行或者騎自行車,這將減少能源使用并最終減少二氧化碳的排放。只要愿意,我們可以做的事情太多了,每個人都做一點點貢獻,控制氣候變暖就不再是不可能的事情。
總之,科學觀測表明,氣候變暖主要是由于人類活動過度排放二氧化碳引起的,而且將帶來包括海平面上升等各種嚴重的后果,人類需要立即行動起來共同減少二氧化碳的排放以控制氣候變暖。只要我們每個人都努力朝這個目標行動,我們就能更好的控制氣候變暖,就能使人類的生存環(huán)境更適宜。

全球變暖
當哥本哈根氣候大會召開時,全球氣候變暖的警鐘就已經敲響了。你聽到了嗎!
隨著人類高科技發(fā)展進程越來越快,科學隨之產生的副作用逐漸體現(xiàn)出來,全球變暖就是一個例子。炎熱天氣,空調成為了人們的“救星”,但人們想過使用空調的負面影響嗎?空調排放的氣體中含有大量導致全球變暖的氣體甲烷輸送到外面。同時,空調還會讓你家電表盡快清零,所以還是要盡量少的使用空調。
另一個原因則是:二氧化碳!汽車尾氣與工廠廢氣中含有大量二氧化碳,而二氧化碳又是導致溫室效應組要成分。在21世紀這個汽車和工廠數(shù)量暴漲的時代,汽車尾氣的排放有增無減,天中烏云滾滾而來,真是令人堪憂。有人統(tǒng)計,美國人均二氧化碳排放量已達到了20噸一年!中國每年的二氧化碳排放量人均排放量也有2.51噸一年!當然,我們周圍的環(huán)境正在以光速惡化著。
森林銳減,水資源破壞,生態(tài)鏈嚴重被破壞,大量土地貧瘠,水污染嚴重,也是重要的原因。據(jù)統(tǒng)計全世界10%的河水被污染,新鮮的淡水供應成了問題。臭氧層被嚴重破環(huán),南北極出現(xiàn)臭氧層洞,也加劇了環(huán)境的惡化。如此惡性循環(huán),最終會導致人們的生活被嚴重影響。
氣溫攀升,海面上漲,冰川融化,島國被淹。這一切,都嚴重影響了人類的生存。但我們無法向上蒼哭爹喊娘,因為這一切悲劇都是人類親自釀成的。
在這樣的緊要關頭只要我們舍棄塑料袋,多乘公共交通工具,將垃圾認真分類,變廢為寶……注意生活中的點點滴滴,那么一切就還都不晚。我們還是可以將昨日重現(xiàn),還鳥兒一片藍天,還魚兒一汪清潭,還百獸一片森地,最重要的是回到我們的家!
如今,日本,英國,美國等國家紛紛行動起來,我們雖然也采取了行動,但,對于一個有13億人口的泱泱大國,這一點,還是遠遠不夠的,所以大家一起加油吧!一起卷起袖子大干一場吧!
第三篇:氣候變暖對農業(yè)的影響
氣候變暖對農業(yè)發(fā)展的影響綜述
氣候變化使中國未來農業(yè)生產面臨三個突出問題:一是使農業(yè)生產的不穩(wěn)定性增加,產量波動加大;二是帶來農業(yè)生產布局和結構的變動;三是引起農業(yè)生產條件的改變,農業(yè)成本和投資大幅度增加。目前我國氣候變化趨勢主要為氣候變暖,全球變暖將給農業(yè)發(fā)展帶來潛在的影響,既有正面的,也有負面的。目前大多數(shù)學者認為,氣候變暖對農業(yè)的負面影響總體大于正面影響,以下將從兩個方面論述氣候變暖對農作物帶來的影響。
一.溫度升高對作物生產量的影響
馬愛民在《氣候變化的影響與我國的對策措施》一文中指出由于全球氣候增溫,寒冷季節(jié)將會縮短,溫暖和炎熱季節(jié)將會延長。這一定程度上會改善某些高緯地區(qū)溫度條件較差的狀況;但對那些夏季原本就很炎熱的中、低緯地區(qū)來說,無疑是“火上加油”的災難。高溫將加快作物的生育進程,使生育期特別是灌漿期明顯縮短,高溫逼熟,極端高溫對小麥、玉米、大豆等作物均有顯著的減產效應,還會造成水稻花粉敗育。
氣象局局長鄭國光接受中國政府網專訪,就“氣象防災減災與應對氣候變化”指出:過去很多關心氣候變暖對農業(yè)影響不利的多一點,其實也有有利的一面。比如氣候變暖影響大氣里面的熱量資源增加,在一定程度上促進了農作物的生產,有些地方本來可以一年一季的,它可以合理安排一年兩季。比如東北地區(qū),從50年代以來,因為全球氣候變暖,所以水稻種植面積可以往北移,一直可以到伊春,可以到一些很高的緯度。比如玉米、大豆產區(qū)也北移,一北移,一些高產、穩(wěn)產的作物種植面積擴大。另外熱量改善,溫度升高了,低溫冷害也減少了。所以過去講每年冬季,東北最關心的是霜凍,霜凍一來了以后,糧食就停止生產了,所以霜凍退后了。所以由一季變成兩季,就是生產有利的一面。我們有個科學家講,上個世紀70年代和上個世紀90年代相比,東北的糧食產量翻了一番,當然有些是科學技術的手段,他們講70%通過我們改良品種、通過科學技術來提高產量。其中還有一個就是氣候變暖,使種植布局、種植制度發(fā)生了比較大的變化,所以使糧食翻了一番
蘇琴 劉文君在《全球氣候變化對我國農業(yè)生產的影響 》中認為溫度升高可延長全年生長期,對無限生長習性或多年生作物以及熱量條件不足的地區(qū)有利,而對生育期短的栽培作物來說又是不利的,因為溫度高使作物的發(fā)育速度加快,生育期縮短,單產下降。在平均溫度升高的同時,極值最高、最低溫度的出現(xiàn)頻率增加,對局部地區(qū)作物的生長發(fā)育有抑制作用。高溫條件下作物生育期縮短,生長量減少,可能會抵消全年生長期延長的效果。溫度升高,高溫熱害、伏旱將更加嚴重,目前對我國亞熱帶農業(yè)生產的影響已十分突出,暖溫帶也有程度不同的類似問題。高溫脅迫的熱害已經限制了作物生產,影響玉米、大豆、高粱、谷子等的種植和產量,水稻、棉花的生育也受到強烈抑制。溫度升高對不同的生長季節(jié)有不同的效果,其影響程度視作物種類、地區(qū)和種植水平而異。在溫室效應影響下高溫熱害加劇,將是影響我國農業(yè)生產的嚴重問題。另外,氣溫升高冬種面積將擴大,北方夏收和南方小春作物將增產。冬季氣溫升高對我國的農業(yè)意義更突出,對秋播和臨冬播種的作物生育有利,小麥、油菜等作物越冬率、分蘗或分枝增加,作物生長發(fā)育較充分,有利于產量形成。我國冬種面積約占可以冬種的耕地面積的 40 %,還有相當大的潛力。因此冬種面積將擴大,夏收和小春作物產量將會增長,這也是利用有利的冬季彌補不利的夏季的有效措施。
傅樺指出氣溫升高,將使我國積溫及持續(xù)天數(shù)增加,種植界限北移,復種指數(shù)提高,有利于農作物產量的增加,還會使生長期延長,促進農業(yè)生產.據(jù)推算,年平均氣溫每升高1 ℃,農業(yè)氣候帶將北移100mm.但是,溫度愈高,生長期愈長,害蟲繁殖愈快,也容易成災,增加了
控制的難度.暖冬也破壞了植物原有的生態(tài)平衡,使農作物減產.氣候變暖也加劇了中國北方地區(qū)的旱情,農業(yè)灌溉受到很大的影響.中國農業(yè)將面臨產量波動大,布局和結構變動,種植制度和作物品種改變,成本和投資將增加。
二.氣候變暖對我國作物分布及種植制度的影響
周文魁在《氣候變暖對我國農業(yè)生產的影響綜述》中指出氣候變暖使我國年平均氣溫上升,從而導致積溫增加、生長期延長,且種植成片北移。當年平均溫度增加1℃時,大于或等于10℃積溫的持續(xù)日數(shù)全國平均可延長約15 天。全國作物種植區(qū)將北移,如冬小麥的安全種植北界將由目前的長城一線北移到沈陽—張家口—包頭—烏魯木齊一線。氣候變暖還將使我國作物種植制度發(fā)生較大的變化,據(jù)計算,到2050 年,氣候變暖將使大部分兩熟制地區(qū)被不同組合的三熟制取代,而兩熟制地區(qū)將北移至目前一熟制地區(qū)的中部,一熟制地區(qū)的面積將減少23.1%。馬愛民 在《氣候變化的影響與我國的對策措施》中提出全球氣候變暖將明顯提高中國各地的有效積溫,使無霜期延長,因而有利于復種指數(shù)的提高,并造成喜溫作物的種植北界向高緯延伸以及作物產區(qū)的地理位移。這意味著我國目前的各種作物氣候區(qū)劃都可能發(fā)生變化:現(xiàn)在的一些作物適宜種植區(qū)將變得不再適宜,并出現(xiàn)一些新的適宜種植區(qū)。各地農事安排都將可能發(fā)生重大變動。種植區(qū)的北移固然有利于農用土地的擴大,但新開墾的土地因土壤貧瘠或水源不足,大多不易獲得高產。而北移了的農作物更容易受到突降低溫的威脅。
中國農業(yè)科學院農業(yè)氣象研究所研究員崔讀昌認為,目前存在過分強調氣候變暖對種植業(yè)產生危害的傾向,忽略了其有利的一面;同時,我國農業(yè)通過自身調節(jié)、技術改良,完全可以適應這種氣候變化。崔讀昌指出,我國種植制度屬于多熟種植,也就是常說的—年多季,而這主要取決于氣溫的高低。—年中積溫越高,則季數(shù)會相應有所增加。所以,隨著氣候的變暖,我國部分地區(qū)的種植制度可以進行相應的調整以適應變化的需求:東北地區(qū)南部,可考慮兩季種植;華北地區(qū),南方亞熱帶地區(qū),氣溫的升高則可以降低寒露風對晚播作物的危害,穩(wěn)定其產量。另外,氣候變暖還給某些作物的北移西延創(chuàng)造了有利件。中國農業(yè)大學資源與環(huán)境學院楊曉光教授、劉志娟博士生和中國農業(yè)大學農學與生物技術學院陳阜教授。在《氣候變暖對中國種植制度北界和糧食產量的可能影響分析》中研究結果表明:(1)與我們目前常用的中國種植制度氣候區(qū)劃結果(1951-1980年)相比,1981以來由于氣候變暖,在陜西省、山西省、河北省、北京市和遼寧省,一年兩熟種植北界明顯向北移動;在湖南省、湖北省、安徽省、江蘇省和浙江省一年三熟種植北界向北空間位移明顯。在不考慮品種變化、社會經濟等方面因素的前提下,各省的種植制度由一年一熟改變?yōu)橐荒甓欤Z食單產平均可增加54%~106%;由一年二熟變成一年三熟,糧食單產平均可增加27% ~ 58%。(2)與1951-1980年相比,1981-2007年遼寧省、河北省、山西省、陜西省、內蒙古、寧夏、甘肅省和青海省冬小麥的種植北界不同程度北移西擴。以河北省為例,冬小麥種植界限的北移,可使界限變化區(qū)域的小麥單產平均增加約25%。(3)浙江省、安徽省、湖北省和湖南省雙季稻的種植界限平均向北移動47公里、34公里和60公里。單從熱量資源的角度出發(fā),種植界限的變動將會使江蘇省、安徽省、湖北省和湖南省糧食單產分別增加13.8%、12.2%、1.8%及29.9%。
綜上所述,全球氣候變暖將對人類特別是農業(yè)生產產生極其深遠的影響。這種影響或許有其有利的一面,但更多的、令人擔憂的卻是其不利的一面。因此,如何趨利避害,利用其有利的一面,克服其不利的一面,并尋求適應或延緩氣候變化的對策,是擺在全人類面前的一道嶄新的課題。
