學生回答完問題后,可以讓學生進行對話練習。

此活動后教師問學生,Do you know why strong people have big muscles? Muscles get bigger and stronger if they are used a lot.That’s why sportswomen and men practice hard and do lots of exercises.教師接著說,We should keep our body healthy.Now please stand up and let’s do some exercises.Listen and follow me.教師可以放第四部分的錄音,同時自己根據錄音做幾個動作,讓大家一起模仿。最后,大家跟著錄音一起說和做。

Say adjectives only!

由于本單元學習和使用了一些形容詞,因此在課上教師可以讓學生做一個游戲。游戲時,教師讓全班學生站起來,由教師起個頭,說一個形容詞,同時傳一個玩具。當學生接到這個玩具時,一定要說一個英語的形容詞。比如,old, 別的學生就接young等。凡說的不是形容詞的學生要先坐下,游戲要看誰最后一個才坐下。教師可以給予獲勝者必要的獎勵。教師說,OK, now we are going to play another game.This time we want to say adjectives.All of you please stand up.I start with a word.Meanwhile I’ll throw this, when you get or catch this, you should say an adjective, then other people will continue.家庭作業:

學生回答完這四個問題后,教師可以讓學生學會連貫表達,Zhang Ming is the biggest person in our class.Liu Tong is the tallest student in our class.Li Man is the shortest child in our class.Wang Fei is the cleverest one in our class.教師還是先讓一個學生說,然后集體再一起練習幾遍。

接下來教師說,So much for the questions and answers.Please look here.教師拿出一些動物的圖片或實物問大家,Do you still remember these animals? Let’s see whether you can say them out.當碰到生詞eagle, fox, cow的時候,教師就可以順便教大家。在大家學習、復習了這些單詞后,教師就可以說,I’m sure you like animals.Do you like to listen to a story about animals? 第二部分。教師可以找一些平時考試用的卷子、中考的卷子等,對學生說,This test is difficult.This test is more difficult.This is the most difficult test I have ever done!可以將此句話的中文意思告訴大家,“這是我做過的卷子中最難的一個”。其次再給出第二中圖片。Now you can look at the second group of pictures.You can also read the sentences next to the pictures.Let’s see whether you can understand them or not.教學活動:

Who can make correct sentences!

上課前,教師可以從教學圖片中挑出許多有關動物的圖片,并將其復印、放大及縮小,能用于表達大、比較大、最大即可。要復印若干套圖片,保證上課每人一張。每種動物都是大、中、小。教師上課時將圖片混在一起發給每一個學生,然后任意叫一個學生到前面。該學生應拿著自己的圖片說出一個句子。當該生說完句子之后,緊接著拿起比其動物小的或比其大的要迅速跑到前面要造出一個比較級或最高級的句子。哪個句子造對了就給哪個組加分。之后,教師可以再叫另一個學生上去,繼續說自己手里的動物。教師可以用英語這樣說,Now I have animals.I’ll give each one of you one kind of animal.I want you to make sentences with these animals.OK.I’ll give you an example.Zhang Ming, please come to the front and say a sentence with the animal in your picture.學生說,This is a dog.教師馬上問,Who has got a smaller dog? Come here quickly.拿一只小點兒狗的學生上來說,This dog is smaller than that dog.教師接著問,Who has got the biggest dog? Let’s make sentences!

教師將學生分成每三人一組,在組里做句型練習。同時為每組選一個監督員,檢查競賽結果。游戲開始時,教師舉一個單詞給全班學生看。每組由一個學生迅速造出一個相關的句子,然后第二個學生造出一個比較級的句子,再由第三個學生造出一個最高級的句子。當第三個學生都造完時,小組的學生可以句舉手示意,教師根據名次記分。第一名10分,第二名5分,第三名3分,第四名1分。然后,教師給出第二個單詞,繼續造句比賽。教師可以這樣說,Now let’s have a competition.This time it’s sentence-making.I’ll divide you into groups.Three people in one group.I’ll give you a word.One person in your group makes a sentence quickly.The second person also makes a sentence.But it should be comparative degree.Then the third sentence should be superlative degree.We’ll find a person to check your group.The first group who has finished will get 10 points.The second gets 5 points.The third gets 3 points.The fourth gets 1 point.Do you understand?
