一、教學設計

二、教學反思
通過本課教學,我有如下幾點反思:
1、創(chuàng)新,以教材為模板,重新設計教學內容。上課前,我原來準備了reading,既The Night The Earth Didn’t Sleep 這一課的教學設計,但在制作課件過程中,發(fā)現我不知不覺已導入很多課外內容,如:地球上的災難,本世紀的大地震,地震的前兆等等,而這些內容與本課息息相關,密不可分。如果加進去,容量過大,有舍本逐末之嫌,如果舍去,則少了許多必要的鋪墊和導入,對于一篇記敘文來講,過多挖掘課文內容已顯多余。于是我想,何不把它分成兩節(jié)課來處理?這一節(jié)我定它為課外知識拓展,有了這樣的想法之后,思路豁然開朗,我可以以“地震”為母板,重新設定教學內容。于是,一會的工夫,本課模型已躍然紙上:
(1)地球上的災難。(2)本世紀的大地震。(3)唐山大地震。(4)地震的前兆。(5)地震中的逃生。(6)想象性活動。(假如發(fā)生了地震,你只能拿一種東西,你會拿什么?)(7)相關諺語。(8)作業(yè)。
2、以學生為中心搜集、整理、設計、反饋教學內容,讓學生在學習中體驗成功和快樂。
模型出來后,我又開始重新制作課件,這樣的設計無疑是要借助網絡的,為什么不充分利用網絡的力量?打如關鍵詞搜索,便可得到大量的資料,尋找關于災難和地震的資料并不難,難在篩選,我在這個過程中體驗到了許多快樂和煩惱,有“得來全不費工夫”的快樂;也有“踏破鐵鞋無覓處”的煩惱。于是,我想,信息的整合難道只是教師守在電腦旁,不眨眼地搜集和整理,為我所用?我得到的快樂,我在整合過程當中的種種滋味,何不讓學生來體會一下?也許通過這種鍛煉,他也會有意想不到的收獲呢!新課改,更強調學生自主學習,主動學習,讓他們親自動手,一定有益!
3.把課堂交給學生,給他們一片天空,還他們一份自信。
學生們辛辛苦苦搞出來的作品,一定要給他們一個展示的機會啊!于是又一個念頭跳出來,我把課堂交給他們,由他們去展示自己的東西,叫他們品嘗一下成功的快樂,同時也給他們一個機會,叫他們生生之間進行互動,反饋,比我在上邊要好得多。這么多小組,這么多作品,我從中精心挑選了八組,根據主題不同,每個主題選出兩到四組,每組自定發(fā)言人(speaker),這樣,七個主題下來,就有二十余人有表演和展示的機會了,而且他們所展示的東西是他們用汗水和心血換來的,所以,展示過程中同學們沒有矯揉造作,顯得頗為自信,也游刃有余,精彩之處,不時換來同學們的熱烈掌聲,我想這掌聲對他們參與者來說更是珍貴了,他們更在乎同學的評價。
5、一節(jié)課下來,我也有許多遺憾的地方。
比如:課件的制作,利用powerpoint 課件來制作英語課件,應該說是無庸置疑的,也是最好的,我的這節(jié)課因為都是學生唱主角,大多數時間是學生在臺上穿梭往來,所以我設置了很多的超級鏈接,目的是節(jié)省時間,便于操作,但稍不小心,便會失去鏈接,只好從頭再來,原因是有七大主題,而每個主題又有不同的學生,所以需多次重復操作,課前演練時覺得還問題不大,可是上課時還是有一次失去了鏈接,只好從來。還有,同學們都是以組為單位來制作自己的內容,組與組之間出現了某種主題的演示形式過于單一雷同的現象。如:地震中的逃生這一環(huán)節(jié),有三組同學都用了正誤判斷的題型,且這種題型不利于同學的現場發(fā)揮,有個別同學在展示期間,明明知道同學們的答案是不一致的,需要解釋原因了,可是,語言能力有限,卡在那里,成了“茶壺煮餃子,有貨倒不出。”其實,假如我在課前指導時及時糾正,換成圖文并茂的幻燈片,既利于臺上同學表達,又利于臺下同學理解,效果會更好。

在學生和老師的共同努力下,我們順利地學完了模塊一的課程。現結合教學日常工作中的點點滴滴,總結以下幾點反思:
一、靠持續(xù)不斷的語言知識來培養(yǎng)學生持久的興趣
英語模塊一的對于新高一的學生來說單詞量較大,語法架構也比較高級,課文內容相對復雜。我們可以采用多種手段幫助學生在記憶力強的時期多記單詞,多學習語言規(guī)則,并盡可能多創(chuàng)造模仿的機會,提高學生的語音和語調。在英語學習中,聽、說、讀、寫、譯五種能力是可以互補的。真正做到聽說先行,讀寫跟上。光聽說不讀寫,很難收到高效。只靠模仿不培養(yǎng)學習能力,也難減輕學習負擔。所以學生還是應當認真進行語言學習。
二、英語應用能力需要相應的詞匯。
“不學習語言規(guī)則、不掌握相當數量的詞匯,英語應用能力就是空中樓閣”。(包天仁語)俄羅斯通常在初中一年級開設英語課(相當于我國的小學5年級),每周3節(jié)課,第一學年即要求掌握約1300個英語詞匯,學生到高中畢業(yè)時要掌握1萬以上詞匯,基本可以讀懂英文原著。而我國現在對高中畢業(yè)生的要求是掌握2000詞匯(包括詞組),新研制的'課程標準'要求掌握4000個左右的詞匯。我們應該借鑒國外的經驗,盡快解決英語教學費時較多、收效較低的現狀。
三、中學英語教師應有發(fā)展意識
一向以來,人們認為英語教師的語言知識能力要求不高,認為中學英語簡單,不需要太好的語言功底,只要有良好的教學技能就可以了。其實時代在進步,社會在發(fā)展,同樣英語作為人們最廣泛的交際用語之一,更是隨著高科技的迅猛發(fā)展而日新月異地變化著。像模塊七的一些內容就很新。如果我們的英語教師故步自封,不求進取,那么不但自己的語言知識很快陳舊落伍,誤人子弟,而且會被時代所淘汰。
我們的英語教師不跟上時代的步伐,不堅持不斷地學習和接受新事物,不了解現代英語發(fā)展的現狀和趨勢,那么,我們所教出來的學生一旦離開學校走向社會,他們會發(fā)現他們所學的英語是多么bookish(書呆子氣)。而教師自己則可能甚至連小學生們所津津樂道的一些常用語也可能會出現理解性的錯誤。
四、中學英語教師應有文化意識
模塊一的課程內容涉及了很多英美文化的信息,這些對擴大學生知識面,拓寬視野,熏陶學生的情操都起到了很大的作用。
跨文化交際意識的培養(yǎng),是英語教學的一個重要組成部分。詞匯是文化信息的主要濃縮。對英語詞匯的準確理解,和對語言環(huán)境的認識和創(chuàng)設和把握,需要對文化的比較深刻的理解。外族文化知識的獲得,主要是通過對該族文化歷史的研究和學習,通過對該族語言文學作品的研讀,通過對該族文化生活習慣、生活方式的了解。而讀原版英語經典著作的學習,是達到這三條的捷徑。
五、中學英語教師應有情感意識
從教育心理學的角度看,學習過程中影響學習效果的最大因素之一是學習者的情感控制。近幾十年來,人們越來越意識到在英語學習過程中,學習者的情感因素,包括動機和
態(tài)度等對英語學習的效果乃至成敗起到相當大的作用。如何將素質教育理論引入外語教學是當前外語教學戰(zhàn)線的一大課題。英語學習成功的因素中,除了智力因素外,更重要的是那些非智力因素的作用。
英語教師的教學重點是放在教學內容,教學大綱和考試形式上呢,還是將教學注重點轉移到學生的性格、興趣、情緒等方面的培養(yǎng)和控制?這是,現代教育思想轉變的重大原則問題。事實證明,認為自己“民主、開放、平靜、友好、體貼、樂于助人、聰明、富于邏輯性和快樂”的人,一般來說,其學習英語成功的可能性要大于與上述性格相反或相差極大的學習者。另外,在外語學習過程中,由于外界因素的影響,學習者會出現焦慮沮喪煩躁不安等情況,英語教師作為教學活動的組織者,應注意對外語學習者情感因素的培養(yǎng)和控制。尤其是在小學的低年級階段,英語教師要培養(yǎng)對學生的親近感。在課堂教學中英語教師要十分尊重學生,注意激勵學生,關注學生學習過程。
