一,一般現在時的用法
1)經常性或習慣性的動作,常與表示頻腮度的時間狀語連用。
時間狀語: every…, sometimes, at…, on Sunday
I leave home for school at 7 every morning.2)客觀真理,客觀存在,科學事實。
The earth moves around the sun.Shanghai lies in the east of China.3)表示格言或警句中。
Pride goes before a fall.驕者必敗。
注意:此用法如果出現在賓語從句中,即使主句是過去時,從句謂語也要用一般現在時。

在一般現在時中,當主語是第三人稱單數時,謂語動詞要用第三人稱單數形式,即常在動詞原形后加-s或-es。現歸納總結如下:

4、不定代詞someone, somebody, nobody, everything, something等及指示代詞this, that作主語時,是第三人稱單數。如: ①Everyone is here.大家到齊了。
②There is something wrong with the watch.這塊手表有毛病。③This is a pen.這是一支鋼筆。④That is an eraser.那是一塊橡皮擦。
5、不可數名詞作主語時為第三人稱單數。如: ①The milk is in the glass.牛奶在玻璃杯里。②The bread is very small.那面包很小。
6、當數字或字母作主語時,看作第三人稱單數。如: ①“6” is a lucky number.“6”是個吉利數字。②“I” is a letter.“I”是個字母。
二,一般過去時的用法,1)在確定的過去時間里所發生的動作或存在的狀態。
時間狀語有:yesterday, last week, an hour ago, the other day, in 1982等。

2)表示在過去一段時間內,經常性或習慣性的動作。

6)行為動詞的過去時的否定句、一般疑問句怎樣改寫呢?這就要借助助動詞do/does的過去式did了。否定句在did后加not, 并把行為動詞恢復原形。如:

而一般疑問句要把did提到句首,行為動詞也要恢復原形。如:
— Did you listen to the radio yesterday?

一般過去式和一般現在時的標志詞和用法一、一般現在時:
概念:經常、反復發生的動作或行為及現在的某種狀況。
時間狀語:
always, usually, often, sometimes, every week(day, year, month…), once a week, on Sundays, etc.基本結構:①be動詞;②行為動詞

1、定義:一般現在時表示現在經常反復發生的動作、存在的狀態或習慣性的動作。
2、構成:一般現在時用行為動詞的原形,但第三人稱單數作主語時,動詞的詞尾要加-S或-es。
規則:以輔音字母加“y”結尾的詞,要把“y”變為“i”再加“es”,以“o s x ch sh ”結尾的詞加“es”,be動詞的變化形式是am is are 一般現在時的用法:
