一、課程設置(課程說明)

經濟全球化是當代世界經濟發(fā)展的重要趨勢,隨著對外開放和國際化程度的日益提高,會展業(yè)已發(fā)展成為新興的現(xiàn)代服務貿易型產業(yè)。國家需要越來越多的既能熟練應用英語進行工作,又能熟練進行會展行業(yè)操作的復合型人才。課程設置(課程目標)

1.使學生能夠理解和掌握會展專業(yè)知識。2.學生能運用會展專業(yè)知識進行實際操作。

3.學生能夠具備英語應用能力、協(xié)調能力、溝通接待能力、策劃、組織及宣傳能力 信息收集、整理等綜合職業(yè)素質。

二、教材分析

該教材以企業(yè)和行業(yè)需求為導向,以學生為中心,以實踐為核心,培養(yǎng)學生的英語應用能力和職業(yè)能力。共分十個單元:會展邀請;安排參展;布置會議廳和展位;參加展會;接待客戶;介紹產品;洽談業(yè)務;商貿談判;撤離展會;分析成效。這十個單元橫向貫穿整個會展操作流程,每個單元均由熱身活動、情景對話、應用寫作和廣泛閱讀四個部分組成。每一部分涉及一個主題,采用了步驟、行業(yè)、內容不盡相同的場景訓練形式。

三、學情分析

本教材授課對象為大學二年級旅游英語專業(yè)學生,學生已掌握一些英語專業(yè)知識,但對會展專業(yè)英語知識認知很少,也沒有接受過會展專業(yè)英語口語的培訓及詞匯的積累,同時學生的英語基本功也需要進一步得到提高。

另外,從學習類型來看,總的可以分為以下幾類:刻苦型,目標任務型,興趣型,厭學型。

五、學法指導

1.要做好課前預習,初步了解新課的內容和重點,并記錄下疑難問題,做到“心中有數(shù)” 2.專心上課,課堂上保持良好的狀態(tài),做到眼、腦、口、手并用,易懂粗讀,新內容細讀,重難點精讀,做到把重要的信息經過反復操練達到完全掌握的程度。

3.課堂上難免有些地方聽不懂或不全懂,所以必須向老師或同學請教討論,切不可愛面子或偷懶使問題積少成多。

4.及時、經常、科學地復習,爭取課內外各種機會多練習英語。

六、教學程序

Review: 通過老師提問學生回答的方式對上一課單詞,所學句型等進行復習。

Watching, Listening and Speaking:放本單元的視頻和聽力材料,并要求學生就聽力材料后的問題進行口頭回答,使學生了解所聽對話的主題。講解聽力材料中的新單詞、重要句型和表達等,并進行操練。讓學生成小組朗讀對話,熟悉對話內容。Exercises:以讓學生操練對話,最后能做到基本不看教材地演示對話(允許對對話內容作一些適當?shù)男薷幕蛟鲅a)。

分小組示范,老師給予點評。根據(jù)老師給出的PPT內容進行對話,學生示范、老師點評。

七、考核方式

平時成績50%:平時成績主要是根據(jù)學生的到課率、課堂表現(xiàn)、實踐成績、作業(yè)等情況來給出一個科學合理的成績。

期末成績50%:期末考試,筆試:考試時間:90分鐘。
