第一篇：十八大胡主席演講英漢對(duì)照

11月15日，中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨第十八屆中央委員會(huì)第一次全體會(huì)議在北京人民大會(huì)堂舉行。習(xí)近平同志主持會(huì)議并作重要講話。以下為講話的中英文對(duì)照。

Ladies and gentlemen, friends, good morning.It's a great pleasure to meet you, friends from the press.The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China came to a successful conclusion yesterday.During the past week, you have extensively covered the Party congress and let the world hear China's voice.On behalf of the secretariat of the 18th Party Congress, I wish to express our sincere thanks to you for your professionalism, dedication and hard work.剛才，我們召開(kāi)了中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨第十八屆中央委員會(huì)第一次全體會(huì)議，會(huì)議上選舉產(chǎn)生了新一屆中央領(lǐng)導(dǎo)機(jī)構(gòu)。全會(huì)選舉產(chǎn)生了七位中央政治局常委，選舉我擔(dān)任中共中央總書(shū)記。接下來(lái)，我把其他6位常委同事向大家介紹一下。

Just now, the 18th CPC Central Committee held its first plenary meeting and elected the new central leadership.The plenary meeting elected seven members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau.I was elected general secretary of the CPC Central Committee by the plenary session.I wish to introduce to you the other six newly elected members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau.他們是：李克強(qiáng)同志、張德江同志、俞正聲同志、劉云山同志、王岐山同志、張高麗同志。

李克強(qiáng)同志是十七屆中央政治局常委，其他同志都是十七屆中央政治局委員，大家對(duì)他們都比較了解。

We have taken on this important responsibility for our nation.Ours is a great nation.Throughout more than 5,000 years of evolution as a civilization, the Chinese nation has made an indelible contribution to the progress of human civilization.During the modern era(from the mid-19th century to the mid-20th century), our nation underwent untold hardship and suffering, and its very survival hung in the balance.Since then, numerous Chinese patriots rose up one after another and fought for the renewal of the Chinese nation, but failed one time after another.中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨成立后，團(tuán)結(jié)帶領(lǐng)人民前赴后繼、頑強(qiáng)奮斗，把貧窮落后的舊中國(guó)變成日益走向繁榮富強(qiáng)的新中國(guó)，中華民族偉大復(fù)興展現(xiàn)出前所未有的光明前景。

Our people have an ardent love for life.They wish to have better education, more stable jobs, more income, greater social security, better medical and health care, improved housing conditions and a better environment.They want their children to have sound growth, have good jobs and lead a more enjoyable life.To meet their desire for a happy life is our mission.人世間的一切幸福都是要靠辛勤的勞動(dòng)來(lái)創(chuàng)造的。我們的責(zé)任，就是要團(tuán)結(jié)帶領(lǐng)全黨全國(guó)各族人民，繼續(xù)解放思想，堅(jiān)持改革開(kāi)放，不斷解放和發(fā)展社會(huì)生產(chǎn)力，努力解決群眾的生產(chǎn)生活困難，堅(jiān)定不移走共同富裕的道路。

Every bit of happiness in the world is created by hard work.To fulfill our responsibility, we will rally and lead the whole Party and people of all ethnic groups in China in making continued efforts to free up our minds, carry out reform and opening-up, further release and develop the productive forces, work hard to resolve the difficulties the people face in both work and life, and unwaveringly pursue common prosperity.這個(gè)重大的責(zé)任，就是對(duì)黨的責(zé)任。我們的黨是全心全意為人民服務(wù)的政黨。黨領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人民已經(jīng)取得了舉世矚目的成就，我們完全有理由因此而自豪，但我們自豪而不自滿，決不會(huì)躺在過(guò)去的功勞薄上。

We have taken on this important responsibility for the Party.Our Party is dedicated to serving the people.It has led the people in making world-renowned achievements, and we have every reason to take pride in these achievements.But we are not complacent, and we will never rest on our laurels.新形勢(shì)下，我們黨面臨著許多嚴(yán)峻挑戰(zhàn)，黨內(nèi)存在著許多亟待解決的問(wèn)題。尤其是一些黨員干部中發(fā)生的貪污腐敗、脫離群眾、形式主義、官僚主義等問(wèn)題，必須下大氣力解決。全黨必須警醒起來(lái)。

Under the new conditions, our Party faces many severe challenges, and there are also many pressing problems within the Party that need to be resolved, particularly corruption, taking bribes, being divorced from the people, going through formalities and bureaucracy caused by some Party officials.We must make every effort to solve these problems.The whole Party must stay on full alert.打鐵還需自身硬。我們的責(zé)任，就是同全黨同志一道，堅(jiān)持黨要管黨、從嚴(yán)治黨，切實(shí)解決自身存在的突出問(wèn)題，切實(shí)改進(jìn)工作作風(fēng)，密切聯(lián)系群眾，使我們的黨始終成為中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義事業(yè)的堅(jiān)強(qiáng)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)核心。

To address these problems, we must first of all conduct ourselves honorably.Our responsibility is to work with all the comrades in the Party to uphold the principle that the Party should supervise its own conduct and run itself with strict discipline, effectively solve major problems in the Party, improve our conduct and maintain close ties with the people.By doing so, we will ensure that our Party will remain at the core of leadership in advancing the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.人民是歷史的創(chuàng)造者，群眾是真正的英雄。人民群眾是我們力量的源泉。我們深深知道：每個(gè)人的力量是有限的，但只要我們?nèi)f眾一心，眾志成城，就沒(méi)有克服不了的困難；每個(gè)人的工作時(shí)間是有限的，但全心全意為人民服務(wù)是無(wú)限的。

It is the people who create history, and it is the people who are true heroes.The people are the source of our strength.We are well aware that the capability of one individual is limited.But when we are united as one, we will create an awesome power and we can certainly overcome all difficulties.One can only work for a limited period of time, but there is no limit to serving the people with dedication.責(zé)任重于泰山，事業(yè)任重道遠(yuǎn)。我們一定要始終與人民心心相印、與人民同甘共苦、與人民團(tuán)結(jié)奮斗，夙夜在公，勤勉工作，努力向歷史、向人民交一份合格的答卷。

An early song before he became famous，it is also the name of beyond’s first concert.Before huangjiaju built beyond, he played his guitar just so-so, many bands despised him and did not want to cooperate with him.He back to home and practiceday and night，after his hand became swollen（腫的）because ofWear（磨）and shock of the guitar，he just put his finger into a pot of hot water whichwas mixed with salt，and then he will practice continue。After he play guitar very well，he built beyond with his friends。In order to make more people know them，they had their first concert，but the prepare process was painful，huangjiaju had to do many Part-time job at the same time to make money。Then they also Had to sell ticket，paste posters，and distribute leaflets，at last the concert was successful。

After this concert，some record company begin to like them and signed them，then they created their first classical song《the earth大地》，which expressed most young people’s wishes, and it became popular quickly ,huangjiaju started a new period，in which the pop song was not about love。But about Fightingfor dream）。

After he became famous，he created 《真的愛(ài)你》for his mother，because at first his father did not permit him to play band but his mother saved some money under the table to Support his choice.huangjiaju was acaring person, he Founded the third world foundation, and go to Africa, visit the poor and adopt orphans.Glory years was written to show his respect to Mandela.曼德拉，who is the first black President of South Africa.The song also express beyond’sdesire to against racial discrimination and hope for world peace。I think this is oneof reasons why so many people like beyond.After they became famous, they did not satisfied with their present situation, so they shift the focus of their work to japan, they still work very hard, and created 《海闊天空》.which described beyond‘s10 years‘sbitter experience，tell us how to insist on our own ideal in the materialistic society。Just as he sangs ：“No matter how many times face with ridicule（ridikju:l）嘲笑，never give up the ideal”Huangjiaju has passed away，just leftso many classical inspirational songs，which continue warming countless Frustrated heart。

負(fù)責(zé)彈奏主音吉他的前任吉他手鄧煒謙便把樂(lè)隊(duì)之名命為“Beyond”，意為超越，并不是要超越別人，而是要超越自己。

2004年11月宣布因三人音樂(lè)理念，對(duì)香港樂(lè)壇不滿等問(wèn)題，決定于翌年舉辦巡回演唱會(huì)后正式解散。

2005年Beyond舉行了“Beyond The Story Live 2005”世界巡回告別演唱會(huì)并宣布解散，三人繼續(xù)以個(gè)人的姿態(tài)發(fā)展自己的音樂(lè)事業(yè)。

他是香港樂(lè)壇的神話，開(kāi)創(chuàng)了流行歌曲的非情歌時(shí)代。

黃家駒，Beyond樂(lè)隊(duì)的靈魂人物，在全世界范圍內(nèi)有無(wú)數(shù)粉絲，但是天妒英才，他只能做一個(gè)生命短暫的音樂(lè)精靈。6月24日，Beyond在東京富士電視臺(tái)錄制節(jié)目時(shí)，家駒不慎從舞臺(tái)上跌落成重傷，昏迷不醒；6月30日下午16時(shí)15分（該時(shí)間為日本當(dāng)?shù)貢r(shí)間，而中國(guó)當(dāng)?shù)貢r(shí)間是當(dāng)天下午15時(shí)15分），家駒永遠(yuǎn)地離開(kāi)了大家。

因?yàn)辄S家駒的音樂(lè)歷程與眾不同，不像現(xiàn)在有些星二代，從小錦衣玉食有人教育，靠著爹的名氣升的很快。當(dāng)年家里沒(méi)人干這個(gè)，懷著對(duì)音樂(lè)的理想，《不再猶豫》，靠著兩手向理想揮手。

最開(kāi)始的樂(lè)隊(duì)里，黃家駒天分并不好，談兩個(gè)音符就錯(cuò)了，樂(lè)隊(duì)里有個(gè)吉他好的人就鄙視他，讓他走，他并沒(méi)有放棄，沒(méi)有翻臉，而忍辱負(fù)重，“縱有創(chuàng)傷不退避”，回家苦練吉他。長(zhǎng)時(shí)間彈吉他第一手指會(huì)磨得厲害，得戴東西，二就是會(huì)真的腫了，他就一盆熱水加鹽練就了一手絕好的吉他。后來(lái)自己組建beyond樂(lè)隊(duì)，為了在無(wú)人認(rèn)可的情況下開(kāi)演唱會(huì)，他做了各種兼職，包括發(fā)傳單，推銷(xiāo)，擦皮鞋，撿垃圾。賣(mài)票和租場(chǎng)地，掛橫幅，都得自己干。同時(shí)個(gè)人也做出了犧牲，《喜歡》因?yàn)楹ε峦鎎and連累女友而分手。

Thank you for the key to your city and for this magnificent welcome.Here in this ancient capital, China seems very young to me tonight, blessed with both a proud history and the promise of tomorrow.Xi’an was perhaps the most open and culturally advanced city in the entire world.From this place, trade routes extended through Asia to Europe and Africa.And to this place, great thinkers came, spreading philosophy and new ideas that have contributed to the greatness of china.謝謝你們贈(zèng)予的城市之匙和這個(gè)盛大的歡迎儀式。在這古老的城市，中國(guó)今晚顯得分外年輕，它天賜般的擁有讓人驕傲的歷史和美好的未來(lái)。西安曾經(jīng)是世界文化史上極為開(kāi)放和發(fā)達(dá)的城市。從這個(gè)地方，貿(mào)易之路延伸到了亞洲，通向了歐洲和非洲。很多大思想家蒞臨了這座城市，傳播哲學(xué)以及新思想，這些觀念讓中國(guó)變得強(qiáng)大起來(lái)。

Mr.Prime Minister, I wish to thank you for your very gracious and eloquent remarks.At this very moment through the wonder of telecommunications, more people are seeing and hearing what we say to them than on any other such occasion in the whole history of the world.Yet, what we say here will not be long remembered.What we do here can change the world.As you said in your toast, the Chinese people are a great people, and the American people are a great people.If our tow peoples enemies, the future of this world we share together is dark indeed.But if we can find common ground to work together, the chance for world peace is immeasurably increased.What legacy shall we leave our children? Are they destined to die for the hatreds which have plagued the old world, or are they destined to live because we had the vision to build a new world? There is no reason for us to be enemies.Neither of us seeks the territory of the other, neither of us seeks domination over the other, and neither of us seeks to stretch out our hands and rule the world.Chairman Mao has written,“ So many deeds cry out to be done, and always urgently;the world rolls on, time presses.Ten thousand years are too long, seize the day, and seize the hour!”
