第四篇：2012Chinadaily新詞新義

Reset generation（重啟一代）指遇到復雜、難處理的情況時就選擇離開那里，重新開始的年輕人。

Clotheshorse原本指用來晾曬衣服的晾衣架；現在多喻指愛時髦，喜歡買很多衣服的人，可譯為“活衣架”。

急時代（the age of fast pace）是指生活、工作節奏過快的時代。壓力大、競爭激烈、忙碌勞累是生活在這一時代的人的特點。Sweet-words bribery指不送錢和禮，而用阿諛奉承之詞討領導或有利用價值的人歡心，以達到自己的目的，即“精神賄賂”。團體類體育項目比賽開始前，各隊成員通常都會圍成一圈，把手臂搭在身邊隊友的肩膀上，集體呼喊勵志口號來振奮精神。這樣的集體行為英語里叫group hug。

在社會心理學中，群體極化（group polarization）指群體所作的決定一般都比其成員最初的意向更加極端。如果個人最初的意向是要冒險的話，那么群體的決定會更加冒險；而如果個人最初的想法趨于謹慎的話，那么群體的決策會更加謹慎。這種現象也說明群體態度的變化趨勢是個人最初態度經過集體討論后被強化的表現。

Long-distance relationship(LDR)指雙方相隔距離遙遠，但卻保有親密關系的狀況，也就是我們所說的“異地戀”或“遠程戀愛”。隨著網絡的普及，異地戀遍地開花。因為現代技術使遠程感情的維方隨時保持聯系。
