每篇短文總有一定的主題思想,段落之間必然承上啟下,前呼后應,句與句之間 也一定緊密相連,形成一個整體。因此通讀全文是要一氣呵成,不要中斷思路,只要能了解短文的大意就可。某些細節不理解可以跳過。如果不影響答題,可以置之不理。如果與答題有關,可到第二步填空時再琢磨解決。另外,在閱讀時要特別注意一篇文章的開頭和結尾,因為它們能提供主要的信息,幫助了解全文所描述的事件或文章的中心議題。
2、抓住結構、語意及邏輯三條線索,分析對比備選答案
在通讀全文的基礎上,根據句子結構是否正確、語意是否通順、邏輯是否合理對各備選答案應進行對比分析。分析時具體應注意以下幾點:
(1)當遇到一個需要填的詞時,首先要考慮這個詞在句子中的成分是什么?詞性是什么?

用詞要適當,不可逐句把提示漢譯英,亦不可生拼硬湊,不要硬拿英語單詞到中文句子里去對號,否則寫出中文式英語,鬧出笑話。一般來講,寫作時,應盡量選出你有把握的詞,盡量使用短句(簡單句)。如果有的單詞不會寫,有的思想不會用英語表達,你可以設法繞開,最好找一個同義詞、同義句,或近義詞、詞組短語來代替。在寫書面表達的時候,在英語中一個意思能說好幾個詞語,所以要 選擇高級詞匯,這樣到時候改卷老師也會覺得你的表達能力好英語底子厚,就算一篇很平常的文章會多給2-3分。要正確使用關聯詞,如and,or,but,so,because,since等,以便行文自然流暢。除此之外,寫作時還要注意時態、語態的各種句式的交替作用,使文章顯得得體,表達流暢。
四、連句成篇,修改潤色。
將寫好的句子連貫的組織起來。作文寫完之后,應注意檢查修改,修 改時先從全局修改。首先要檢查主題是否明確,表達方式是否恰當,接下來檢查所寫內容是否切題,該交待的內容是否交待了,最后檢查所用時態、人稱是否符合要求,最后是否一致。
局部修改,也就是段落、句子水平上的修改。作局部修改時,要檢查段落是否完整,句子表達是否準確,語法、拼 寫、標點、移行、大小寫等方面是否有誤。
另外,值得一提的是,考生修改時,一定要注意文章長短(詞數)是否達到了要求。為了便于辨認,修改好后,還要認真謄寫一 遍,英語謄寫的基本要點如下:
1.四周應留空。
2.標題應寫在第一行的中央。文章與標題間空2-3行,除介詞、連詞、冠詞外,標題中每一個實詞的第一個字母均應大寫,但如果第一個單 詞是介詞,連詞等,這個詞的第一個字母仍應大寫。
3.段與段之間一般不空行,但每段第一行應縮進4-5個字母所占的位置。
