口試第一部分注意事項:
口試第一部分考生在回答考官問題時,不要簡單回答Yes 或No,還要用兩三句話來做進一步解釋說明。在考官問搭檔問題時也不要插話,在旁邊傾聽即可,等考官問你,你再回答。考官可能會問你相同的問題,也可能問不同的問題。通過認真傾聽,一方面可以有助于你熟悉考官和搭檔的語音面貌,另一方面也可以熟悉他們交流的問題,以免當考官中途問你對這個問題的看法時,不知所云。

切記:
1.一定要合理利用1分鐘的準備時間,最好寫下要點,以防忘記,造成發言不連貫。要點是指能起到提醒作用的單詞或詞組,不必寫完整句子,時間太短,沒有時間寫完整句子。
2.一定要盡量發揮第三點,以使你的發言豐滿,同時也能使考官看到你語言和話語組織能力。但是如果實在想不出來第三點,就說提示的兩點也可以,但是一定要說滿一分鐘,解釋要點可以有詳有略。注意采用總-分-總的方法,這樣顯得條理清楚。
3.在聽搭檔發言時,就要努力想自己要提的問題,要根據搭檔的發言提問,不要跑題。如果搭檔講的內容沒有聽明白,就根據你聽懂的幾個單詞提問也可以。
可參考的提問句子有:
Which do you think is the most important point? Why?(前提是搭檔在發言時沒有表明態度)要求搭檔進一步解釋某個要點。I am very interested in-----Could you further explain-----, please?
提出自己看法,然后要求搭檔評論。I think---is also important.What do you think of it? 要求搭檔說一下自己公司的有關情況?Could you say something about-----in your company, please?
4.回答搭檔的問題時,不要簡單回答Yes或No, 要用兩三句來解釋。不知道如何回答,可以結合自己熟悉的事情,如自己生活和工作經驗等來回答,舉例說明是個很好的方法,口試第三部分參考框架
討論開始時建議說:

注意:
討論過程中有觀點和論據。在闡明自己的想法后,一定要詢問搭檔的看法。如果搭檔說不出來,你要想辦法給他一個臺階下,你可以說Do you agree with me? 如果他同意,那你們就可以把談話進行下去,如果他不同意就讓他解釋原因。
如果自己沒想好,可以先問搭檔的觀點(What?s your opinion? How /What about you?)。以爭取更多的時間思考。在傾聽搭檔表達個人觀點時,自己也一定要積極思考。以免搭檔卡殼,出現冷場。搭檔沒有表達清楚,要積極幫助搭檔表達清楚,讓考官看到你積極主動與人溝通的一面,充分體現你良好的溝通愿望和技巧,給考官留下非常好的印象。
如果你對題目毫無看法,當搭檔問你的觀點時,你可以說I agree with you., 然后用自己的話復述一下搭檔的觀點。也可以適當補充一下搭檔的觀點。這樣也可以讓考官看到你語言水平。最后總結討論結果。可以用以下表達:

切記:第三部分討論大多數情況是考生觀點互為補充,如果觀點有分歧,就要有人妥協。因為如果雙方都不妥協就不能達成一致,從而不能完成任務。所以學會妥協很重要。記住你們是合作的關系,不是競爭的關系,要顧全大局。
口語考試特別提示:
BEC口試測試分三個階段進行:第一階段:采取考官與考生交流的方式,時間約為4—5分鐘。考生應對考官的問題做出回答或對考官提出的要求做出反應。考官所題問題主要針對商務交往的具體內容。第二階段:采取考生與考生交流的方式,時間約為3—4分鐘。每組考生抽去兩組卡片,每組卡片為兩張,一張卡片上描述具體內容,另一張卡片由針對其內容的問題。考生可得到一張卡片上描述具體內容和另一考生卡片相關問題卡片,有足夠時間閱讀卡片,交流的內容局限于這兩組卡片。第三階段、這部分要求考生就某一題目進行討論,主考官會適時介入談話。
第一階段、這部分是主考官與考生的對話,考官問的問題一般有:姓名、職業、所學專業,對所從事的工作或所學專業是否喜歡,為什么喜歡或不喜歡等等。
另外,考官會就某一方面問考生,如有關就業就可能問:What would your ideal job be? Do you think all companies ought to provide training opportunities for staff? Is the opportunity to work abroad important to you? 等等。
當主考官在與一考生對話時,另一考生必須仔細聽,因為主考官問了考生甲“Do you think all companies ought to provide training opportunities for staff”后,可能會問考生乙“What do you think of it”,如果考生乙沒有仔細聽,就要對考官說Sorry或Please pardon 這樣會影響口試效果。口試第一部分考試時間約為4分鐘。
第二階段、這一部分要求考生就某一主題進行闡述。考生就信息卡上的問題回答。如:What is important when … ? Opening a branch in a new cityl The locationl The potential purchasing power闡述完了之后,考官司就所闡述的內容提問。只要考生能對信息卡的內容有所了解,一般可以較好地回答問題。
第三階段、這部分要求考生就某一題目進行討論,主考官會適時介入談話。兩個考生在討論都應該積極參與,不能將問題交給對方去闡述,討論是雙向的。如:Business SeminarYour company is going to hold a seminar on a certain topic about marketing.You have been asked to help with the preparation for the seminar.Discuss the situation together and decide:l What facilities and seminar arrangements you will need to makel Who you are going to invite to attend the seminar, and how to contact them.以上信息卡提供了兩個討論要點,即:研討會需要什么設備,應做些什么安排;準備邀請什么人,怎樣與他們聯系。考生應該發揮想象力,舉辦一個研討會,考慮需要那些設備,如白板、筆、投影儀、電腦、飲水機、咖啡機等,此外,還可能需要翻譯人員、文秘人員等;考慮那些要員是必須出席的等等。
當一個考生在闡述意見時,另一考生需要在適當的時候介入。另外,考生要注意不要挖空心思去尋找對應的英語來表達漢語思維的內容,只要達到效果就行。如有的考生要表達?沿海城市?,如果不知道coastal city,可以用其它的方法來表示這個意思,如可以用the city along the coast 或 the city on the sea等。
口語是BEC四個單元中挑戰性較大的一部分,并且口語考試的難度隨著等級的提高而加大。BEC口語考試分為三部分。第一部分是考生與考官的交流,著重于個人情況,學習工作,興趣愛好。這一部分必須充分準備,但難度不會超過普通的工作面試,且一般不會涉及商務知識。主要的難點在于第二、第三部分。第二部分讓考生就某一商務主題發表一分鐘的演講,而第三部分中,兩位考生就某個商務主題進行討論。這兩個部分要求較高,而準備時間僅為一分鐘。
針對BEC口語出題范圍。將其細分為多個出題領域:職業發展,人事,營銷,商務交流,信息管理,物流,金融,公司發展,項目管理,質量控制,競爭,健康安全,戰略策劃,生產管理,國際商務,交通,商業文化與倫理等,各個擊破。對于每個領域內的經典題型,必須對大量范文作詳細分析,總結最常用的話題與理由,體會不同場合變換說法的重要性,克服考生中普遍的理解考題卻無話可說的尷尬。
對于任一題目,光說一大堆理由,是很難得高分的,即使理由本身非常正確。關鍵在于必須有活生生的例子說明問題。這一點上,臨時抱佛腳是沒有用的,務必要*平時注意收集并在會話中運用恰當的例子。
是要透過經典題型例解的現象看本質。學會運用會話模式,如開題—質詢—觀點—擴展型對話,并掌握有效的相關口語技巧,如Echo, Objection, Proposition, Development, Hypothesis, Definition, Interrogation, Repetition等。這樣,對于會話的總體框架與結構在心中有了一個藍圖以后,才能把注意力放在內容上。
對于如何使口語更自然更地道的一些語言點,也必須有所涉及。語言的豐富化與口語化不是一日之功,但也要總結規律。比如,用一些語氣詞如well,right?等和反義疑問句可以使語言較為自然。一些口語化的詞組如icing on the cake,sell like hotcakes,ballyhoo,shelf sitter等也可以給會話增色。當然粗俗的俚語在商務會話中是不允許的。另外,書面用語如 nevertheless,furthermore, in addition, utmost 等非但不會讓考官欣賞,反而顯得做作,不自然。正所謂?過猶不及?。要做到恰到好處,必須對詞匯和短語的色彩有精確體會。必須指出的是,口語化不等于散漫化。BEC口語的目的還是為商務主題服務的,所以決不能淪為聊天式的極其隨便的對話。關鍵在于應做到?casual without losing focus?,即?外松內緊?。
口語考試策略指導
.Be well prepared.做好充分準備是成功的基本保障,這包括對考試風格,模式,題型和最新動態的熟悉,更包括大量的、有針對性的口語練習。但必須指出一點,準備的過程不應是背誦的過程。很多考生對自己在面試中的表現感覺良好,最終卻對自己出乎意料的低分大吃一驚,百思不得其解,其實原因很簡單:考官對考生背誦事先準備好的答案很反感,尤其當他/她聽到同一種答案被很多考生重復使用時,那種令人作嘔的感覺可想而知。在考官看來,Using a prepared answer is similar to cheating!所以給準備BEC考試的考生一個忠告:Over prepared is often as harmful as under prepared.2.Have an easy but concentrated state of mind.心態對于任何事的成功都是至關重要的,語言測試,尤其是一對一的口語測試更是如此。良好的心態可以使人超水平發揮;糟糕的心態卻可以讓人遭遇滑鐵盧。在以往的BEC考試中,相當數量的考生是因為心態不好,主要是過度緊張導致失利的。應該說適度的緊張還是有益的。我們應該充分重視BEC口語考試,但沒有理由懼怕它。調整心態,放松心情的幾種方法:
1)盡量把參加BEC面試想象成拜訪一個朋友,而那個朋友有一些問題不明白,需要向我請教。
2)面試前一晚一定要睡個好覺,考前一餐不要吃得太飽,當然也不能空腹。
3)進入面試房間前做幾次深呼吸,然后告訴自己:既然我知道自己英語說得不錯,別人也應該知道。
4)把對方想象成考生,把自己想象成考官,當然該回答的問題還是要認真回答。
5)如果知道自己的英語口語不太好就更沒必要緊張了,緊張又不能幫我提高成績,不如徹底放松,奮力一搏,說不定就能達到柳暗花明的效果。
3.Focus on your English instead of your ideas.考官在考察我們的英文而不是我們的思想,沒有必要為了一個我認為“閃光”的思想強迫自己說那些說不清的英文句子,重要的是把我有把握的英文說清楚。考官基本上不會在乎我們的觀點,而是根據我們的英文打分的,況且我認為很精彩的一個觀點很可能其他人已經重復過多次。一個蹩腳的復雜句并不比簡明流暢的短句給考官的印象更好。在口語表達中我是主動的,沒有人強迫我說什么。不會說的詞就換另一個詞;沒有把握的句型就換另一個句子;講不清的觀點可以馬上用另一種觀點,甚至違心地說幾句話也無妨,為了拿到分數豁出去了。記住:雖然語言只是表達思想的載體,但那是在生活中。在語言測試中,尤其是當我們的語言手段不足以表達我們復雜的思想時,一定要讓思想服從于語言,只講能講得清的觀點。
4.Use your common sense.很多考生分丟得實在冤枉,當被問到一些常識性問題時,我們往往因為缺乏常識或不會利用常識而輕易放棄機會,白白丟分。要知道十幾分鐘的面試轉瞬即逝,放棄一個問題可能就意味著分數降一個檔次。有些問題被考生放棄并不是因為語言問題,而是他們認為對這個話題沒有idea,不知道該說什么。例如被問到家鄉最有趣的方面是什么時,很多考生吞吞吐吐說不出來,或者干脆說沒什么有趣的。其實這是一個非常簡單的問題,只要有一點常識就不難想到有太多話題可講:自然風光、名勝古跡、地方風俗、歷史、地理、風土人情、節日慶典、飲食習慣、教育制度、天氣情況等等都可以成為談論的話題。任何時候都不要放棄任何問題。Saying something is better than saying nothing!
5.Be calm in mind and active in attitude.回答問題時要沉著,冷靜,思路清晰,同時表現出主動參與、喜歡交談的態度。首先要保證聽懂問題再回答,不要聽到之言片語就慌忙回答,隨后發現誤解了考官的問題或答非所問;更不要沒聽懂考官的問題就沉默不語。如果真沒聽懂也不要慌,可以先根據此時的談話背景迅速尋找線索,把自己的猜測大膽講出來,待對方證實后繼續回答。例如:Q: What's your line of business?
A: Excuse me, are you asking me to talk about my job?
假如連一點猜測的線索都沒有,坦白的告訴考官你沒有聽懂比不懂裝懂,答非所問更能表現出考生喜歡參與的坦誠態度和善于交談的應變能力。

一.了解報考院校專業往年的英語口試形式
各院校各專業的復試口試形式各不相同,一定要對癥下藥。可以通過詢問以前考過的師兄、師姐們來了解復試口試的形式,可能的話,了解一下口試中常出現的問題。
總的來說,復試口試有這樣幾種類型:自我介紹;讀某篇英文文章,然后進行翻譯或回答相關問題;抽到某個話題進行演講、闡述;兩三人就同一個話題進行討論、辯論(多人一起復試的情況);自由問答(可能是專業或與專業相關的時事熱點問題,也可能只是了解個人情況)。
二.了解導師/考官
首先必須了解導師在該專業的研究方向,可能的話,看看他們寫的書,因為在專業問題上,導師一般都會往自己研究方向上靠攏;其次,了解導師在口試中常問的一些問題及習慣(這個又得求助于師兄師姐們了);最后,可以給導師打電話,讓他/她知道你是誰,有你這么一個考生參加復試。

1)家庭。需要注意的是,考官并不是為了做人口調查而提出這個問題的,所以應該避免流水賬似地介紹家庭成員;要盡量說明家人(尤其是父母)對你造成哪些方面(性格、職業規劃、做事風格等)良好的影響。可以參考以下句式結構:Just like my father, I am especially interested in history./ Though my father is an ordinary worker, his responsible attitude towards work has a great influence on me.2)家鄉。正所謂“一方水土養育一方人”,考官實際上是想從你對家鄉的介紹中找出有關你性格、志向的線索。可以從歷史、歷史人物、著名景點、獨特風俗或特產等方面來簡單介紹,注意要表達熱愛家鄉的情感。
