例如:
I haven't seen you for a long time.You must come round for dinner sometime.好久沒見,什么時(shí)候一定過來吃飯哦.It's good seeing you.Would you like to have a cup of tea with me? 見到你很高興,你愿意和我喝杯茶嗎? 這里有兩種情況需要注意。有時(shí)說的這些話完全只是表示友善的方法而非真正的邀請(qǐng)的意思。就像前一句話,我們只須回答:Thank you.I'd love to.(謝謝,我很樂意。)切記不要問:“什么時(shí)間?”否則會(huì)令說話人非常窘迫,因?yàn)樗麤]絲毫心理準(zhǔn)備。對(duì)于后一種情況,說話人實(shí)際上是在試探邀請(qǐng)成功的程度如何。通過交談,說話人試探出邀請(qǐng)的成功性,便會(huì)發(fā)出真正的口頭邀請(qǐng)。明確具體時(shí)間和地址。
