生活需要游戲，但不能游戲人生；生活需要歌舞，但不需醉生夢死；生活需要藝術，但不能投機取巧；生活需要勇氣，但不能魯莽蠻干；生活需要重復，但不能重蹈覆轍。

很多要考四六級的同學認為：真題是已經考過的，不會再考了。其實這是個認識誤區。真題雖然考過了，但四六級詞匯量固定、詞組固定、句子結構固定、篇章結構固定、選項設置固定、出題規律固定、考點固定。因此真題的重要性就毋庸置疑了。既然這樣，那該如何利用呢?

真題只做一遍，做完之后就是研究。一套真題至少可從三方面研究：

1)詞匯：沒有一個詞匯不認識

從備考一直到考前兩周不需做模擬題;每套真題至少研究2周左右。學習講究求精不求多，求質不求量;四六級詞匯的核心意思即真題中考過的意思;所以考四六級不一定背詞匯書，把真題中的詞匯搞定即可。

2)選項：沒有一個選項不了解。

要搞清楚正確選項為什么正確、錯誤選項為什么錯誤;比如閱讀題各選項的出處：來自于文章的第幾段、第幾句話等;研究錯題：錯的題目是你的弱點，一定得改善，否則分數永遠提不高;考前3天-1周，建議大家不要再做題了;保持心態平和。

3)句子結構：沒有一個句子結構不清楚。

下面分以下幾個版塊來談：

一、詞匯

利用真題。邊記單詞邊做真題，通過真題來鞏固詞匯記憶，查漏補缺。第一、態度要認真。在做題過程中遇到不認識的單詞和詞組別怕麻煩，一定要認真總結下來并查出與之相關的用法，然后記憶。開始可能會遇到相當大的困難，但只要堅持兩周，就會發現進步了很多。第二、雖然04年以前的真題是老題型，但是里面的單項選擇也就是詞匯題是必須要看的，而且要把歷年真題的詞匯題中不認識的單詞一一記錄并查字典。只要認真按照這個做，詞量匯一定會倍增。

二、聽力

其實四級聽力考來考去，那些短文、對話都是在生活和校園里經常出現的對話?？梢酝ㄟ^看歷年真題的聽力文字多熟悉題目，看多了就會發現做起題來簡單很多。這就是為什么讀過或背過的文字再聽一般都能聽懂。對文化背景和常用短語的不熟悉也會造成聽力理解上的障礙。英文口語中有很多口語化的詞匯是英語課本中沒見過的，但是在聽力中經常出現，這就要求你要積極一點，多積累一些。可以把歷年真題中

出現的口語化語言積累起來以方便記憶。因此真題仍舊是最為重要的練習材料。你需要準備英語歷年聽力真題(如1999年—2010年，共24份)。根據自身具體情況，制定每天的學習計劃。比如早上晚上某個時間段進行聽力練習。到考試前，真題全部都認真聽過了。將歷年的真題仔細聽，反復聽。將沒聽清楚，不能確定，沒及時反應出來的地方標出來反復聽，對照參考答案認真分析。建議你至少聽三輪：第一輪：將沒有聽清楚和明白的地方標注出來。第二輪：第一輪中標注的地方仔細聽，直到聽懂，修改第一輪的答案。然后對照標準答案，錯誤地方的認真分析，標注。第三輪：邊聽邊寫下內容，可以先嘗試短對話，再寫寫長對話，寫完后對照原文，查漏補缺。

五、寫作

背誦范文，即歷年真題參考范文，對提高四六級作文水平很有效果。模仿是創造的前提，背范文的主要目的是為了模仿，模仿作文的結構和精彩用法。時間有限，建議考生自己把近三年的四六級寫作范文背誦，背誦過程中要注意文章的結構安排和思路，用詞的傾向等。這樣做可以：

一、熟悉英文寫作的結構;

二、熟悉適合自己的固定句型，即“萬能句”。

六、翻譯

對于翻譯，要注意抓關鍵詞，因為這些關鍵詞是得分點，如果你把關鍵詞丟了，即使句子的整體意思能翻譯出來，得分也是有限的。多做真題翻譯并對照答案解析，你對關鍵詞的敏感度就會提高。
