現在進行時的結構是be+doing,它的基本用法是表示此時此刻正在進行的動作。
看看下面的句子應該怎么理解呢? 1.What are you doing next Sunday?
下個星期天你打算干什么呢? 2.She is buying a new car next month.她下個月將要買一輛新車。
3.I’m not waiting any longer.我將不再等了。
當句子涉及確切的計劃、明確的意圖和為將來安排好的活動時,現在進行時可用來表示將來。
現在進行時表將來句子中謂語動詞分四類: 1.常與瞬間動詞連用。比如:come ,go, arrive, leave, start, return等。The train is arriving.火車將要進站了。
He is coming back tomorrow.他明天(將要)回來。
2.常與表示交通方式、行程安排的動詞連用。比如:walk, ride, fly, drive, take(a bus, a train)等。
They are flying to Beijing next week.他們下周(將)要飛往北京。
3.與表示位置的詞連用。如:stay, remain等。I’m staying at home tonight.我今晚打算呆在家里。
4.與少數其它動詞連用。如:do, have, visit, buy, meet等。I’m meeting you after school.放學后我要去找你。學后練習翻譯下面的句子:

現在進行時表將來的教學活動設計
在給學生上語法課時,往往是以教師為中心,教師一味的講解與傳授,學生只是被動的接受,或者在坐在下面抄寫大量的筆記,這樣學生很累,教師也很累,而且教學效果一般,這與新課標所倡導的發現探究、實踐運用、自主學習,以學生為中心以及合作學習等新的教學理念和方法是相違背的。因此我們要改變教學方法,采用一種建立在形式、意義和用法三個不同維度上的三維教學模式,即將語法教學與聽、說、讀、寫各項技能的培養融為一體,與語篇理解和語言的交際運用結合起來,吸引學生的興趣,促進所有學生的參與,充分發揮學生的想象力與創造力,從而提高發展學生運用語言的能力。下面是我設計的一節新教材 Book 1 Unit 3中現在進行時表示將來的的語法課。
教學目的:
學生能理解并熟練使用現在進行時表達將來計劃好要做的事情。教學過程:
Step 1,引導學生仔細觀察教材中(即Warming Up.Reading,Learning about Language以及Using Language)出現的現在現在進行時形式表示將來意義的語言形式,教師還可以再補充一些含有這類語言形式的典型例句和語篇,讓學生探索自己發現這種語言結構的形式和意義。Step 2,通過教師的引導和提示,學生之間以及師生之間還可以通過討論,歸納出這種語法形式的結構特征和使用規則。
Step 3,適當做幾個這方面的練習。Do Exercise2 on P21 in the text.Step 4 先讓學生聽讀下面一小段對話,這樣可以練習一下聽力,同時還與今天學習的語法有相關聯系,學生要努力聽,爭取明確對話內容,這樣可以更好的進行后面的教學活動。Dialogue:
A:What are you doing tomorrow?
B:I'm seeing my sister off at the airport in the morning.She's leaving for New York and staying there for three days. A:Are you doing anything special tomorrow afternoon,then? B:No.I'm staying at home.
A:But I'm playing tennis with Tom.I'm meeting him at 3:30.Will you join us? B:Great!
然后,要求學生按以下步驟開展學習活動。第一步:學生兩人一組編一小段對話,其中必須含有5個以上用現在進行時表示已經安排好的活動的句子;第二步:學生組成4~6人小組,練習表演小對話;第三步:每個4~6人小組推選其中最好的兩人組合,并幫助他們修改和充實其對話,做好在全班呈現的準備;第四步:教師請一個兩人組合代表(可用抽簽形式決定)在全班表演他們的對話,同時要求各小組記錄他們聽到的用現在進行時表示已經安排好的活動的句子;第五步:由記錄句子最多、最準確、并能快速重復所聽句子的小組表演他們的對話;最后教師講評,并給以學生鼓勵。
Step 5任務:接待外國朋友最佳計劃創意大賽
(1)學生每人寫一份接待計劃,文中至少包含8個用現在進行時表示已經安排好的活動的句子。在學生寫計劃之前通過Brainstorm做鋪墊,列出一些學生可能會使用的語法結構,以及能夠在該語法結構中使用的動詞或者動詞短語,如come,go,arrive,return,meet,leave,climb,do,start,invite,stay,spend one's holidays,take a boat ride,see a play,have dinner,play tennis,show sb.around等。
(2)學生在四人小組內講述自己的安排。(3)各小組挑選出最有創意的一份安排,集體對它進行補充和修改,形成小組成果。
(4)每個小組在全班呈現其成果
(5)教師進行簡要點評后,讓每個小組課后再次修改他們的計劃,并張貼在班級的“學習園地”中;由各小組投票評出前三名。

這節課的語法課的教學,我們可以發現它體現了新課標的要求,即要以學生為主體,探究式學習的教學模式,讓學生自己去發現、學習。幾個練習由淺入深,環環相扣,在這個過程中充分體現了學生的創造力和合作學習能力,使以往枯燥乏味的英語語法教學變得很有趣味,也很易于學生接受,從而達到熟練的掌握。

五、時態改錯
1.finished 改為finish,或在 finished 前加 have.即在時間狀語從句中要用一般現在時表示將來意義,但這里也可用現在完成時表示完成。
2.worked 前加has,句中的 since 表示“自從??以來一直??”,即表示從過去持續到現在的一段時間,故用現在完成時。
3.am 改為 was,根據從句中的一般過去時可知 am 應改為 was.4.came 改為 comes,根據前面的兩處一般現在時可知。
5.did 改為 do,根據前面的現在完成時可知“你”現在還在我們城市,故后面一句問的是“你”現在對我們城市的看法。
6.turned 改為 turns.本句敘述的是客觀真理,故用一般現在時。7.spoke 改為 speak.全句敘述的是現在的情況。8.come 前加 will,根據句意,此處應是將來時態。9.cost 改為 costs,句子講述的是現在的一般情況。
10.去掉 will,時間狀語從句要用一般現在時表示將來意義。11.forget 改為 forgot,根據句意,此題的“忘記”應是指過去忘記
