第三講
三、說與讀的訓練指導
(一)說的訓練
說的訓練是高一階段的訓練重點之一,也是培養一個人與人交往能力的重要形式。
1、要敢于張口,大膽地練說。雖不如《瘋狂英語》那樣瘋狂,也要把說英語像說漢語一樣自如作為自己的追求。
2、多與同學交流,抓住課上機會練習說英語。利用課余時間,尋找機會,創造機會說英語。組成小組,參加英語角等。重復句、造句子、背誦、復述課文都是訓練說的能力的好方法,只有簡單的做到了,再難的任務也就不難了。
3、把練習一口氣說出5句話沒有錯誤作為訓練說的能力的前期標準。話題可由感而發,也可以是看到周圍的動態、靜態的事物,張口而出。
4、留心觀察周圍的事物,如街頭廣告、標語也是學習英語的好材料,看到后說出來,也是訓練的方法之一。
(二)讀的指導
1、閱讀能力是一切能力之本,也是高考要求的重中之重。在有了一定的聽、說能力之后,培養閱讀能力也是高一階段的重要步驟。
2、從興趣入手,以讀自己感興趣的英文小短文、小散文、小說入手,漸漸地語感增強了,詞匯擴大了,能力提高了。
3、推薦讀物
(1)由China Daily主編21st century·School Edition。每周發刊一期。話題覆蓋面廣,角度多,語言新活,是學習英語的好材料。
(2)外語教學與研究出版社出版的書蟲系列,選擇多,語言簡單,生詞量小,興趣的發展得以保證。
4、閱讀數量標準。每天應堅持30分鐘,300—500字的閱讀。可集中時間讀,也可利用零散時間讀。
5、精讀、泛讀相結合。精讀是指認真處理生詞、難句,對句子成份認真分析等,既學語言又學語法。泛讀則是指重視了解文章大意,可采取略讀、跳讀等方法。不論是精讀還是泛讀都切忌邊讀邊查字典,這樣會打斷閱讀的整體思路不利于語言能力的提高。

四、幾種不良傾向
1、有人認為高考成績高就行了,不練說也沒關系。其實我們現在學習英語已不僅僅是為高考了,而是要為高考后的生存與發展做準備,也為個人與社會大環境接軌打基礎。更為個人向國外發展作必要的準備。
2、有人認為多做題就能解決問題。人們常說:量的積累可達到質的飛躍。但是盲目地追求數量而忽視質量是不可取也是無效的。死扣語法不重視在一定的語境中體會、運用知識也是不正確的。
3、有人常立志而不是立長志。英語學習最怕“三天打魚,兩天曬網”。高興了干一陣,進步了就停下。走走停停只能導致成績的起伏不定,最終導致興趣降低,自信心喪失,造成惡性循環。
4、有人只會做或者是只做老師要求干的事。進入高中階段,走向成熟的表現在學會自己學習,要學會安排自己的學習內容,要學會支配自己的學習時間。
五、學好英語,上好英語課的幾個環節
1、盡快適應新環境、新同學、新老師,盡快適應高中學習。
2、課前認真做好預習工作。因為課時緊,內容多,強度大。不認真預習,課上會很被動。預習要做到認真聽錄音,模仿,掌握準確的語音、語調,了解單詞意思,課文內容,找出疑難問題。
3、課上認真聽講,積極參與課堂活動,給自己更多的機會鍛煉聽、說能力,認真適當地記筆記。高效率聽課,才能有高水平的收獲。
4、課后要及時認真復習,按時完成作業是首要的。復習是為了鞏固課堂知識,同時也應適當地做一些練習。遇到沒有理解的內容應及時問老師,使問題盡快解決。
5、要有適應新環境的能力,同時應有承受壓力的能力。要會調整自己,相信大家會以飽滿的精神狀態,充分的心理準備,順利適應高中英語學習的。

第三講 英語語音基礎
一、請首先反省一下自己說的英語
現在會說英語的人越來越多了,而真正說得很好的,特別是語音純正、聽起來讓人覺得真地道、真好聽的人即使在英語專業里也為數不多,在非英語專業里就更加難得。對自己的英語不滿意、又苦于找不到好方法的人比比皆是。當然,學英語首先是為了交流,但如果我們不只是能說,還都能說得“像”,說得讓別人聽起來舒服,比方說,我們說的英語就像加拿大那位大山說的漢語一樣,那豈不更好?如果你一開口,別人就覺得你像是在美國待了多年,或者簡直就像老美在講話,這難道不是許多人夢寐以求的嗎?
對于那些有種種語音毛病的人來說,如果不專門花一段時間在語音方面認真下一番工夫、把他們說的英語規范一下的話,他們就只能永遠說一口蹩腳的英語,別人不愛聽、自己也不愛說,相當一部分人則干脆不再張口,學起了啞巴英語!
對于許多發音有這樣那樣問題的人來說,他們所說的英語中的許多毛病已經形成習慣,而這些習慣都是多年來形成而又極難克服的。他們也努力,也想說好,但不得其法,他們很可能沒有意識到,我們的母語在不知不覺間對我們的強大影響是我們說不好英語的一個最重要的原因!
二、隨心所欲地學英語其實是很危險的!
這話似乎是危言聳聽,但仔細想來確有幾分道理。過去練武功的師傅有這樣一句話--------“學拳容易改拳難”。師傅總是告誡自己的弟子不要輕易練拳,因為一旦學會一個錯誤的東西,形成定式,再想改掉它,難得很!所以那個時候師傅寧愿收一個沒練過功夫的少年作弟子,也不愿教一個從前練過功但功夫卻學得不怎么樣的人。幾十歲的成年人想要放棄自己的方言,去學普通話或者別的方言,那困難大約也像愚公移山一樣。首先因為他的年齡早已過了學語言的最佳時期,另外還有一個重要原因,那就是他的方言已經成了根深蒂固的習慣,想改也改不掉。因此,學英語的人從一開始學的時候,動作就要到位,避免走彎路。
我們也可以這樣說,“學英語容易,改英語難”。1

第一講
達爾文曾說過“關于方法的知識是最重要的知識”,不管我們學習什么,掌握正確的方法是最重要的。
我們現在正面臨著一個初、高中的銜接問題,初中側重基礎的語法知識,而高中側重具體地使用英語。所以,學好英語首先要掌握正確的方法,什么是方法?
一、首先要明確幾個觀點:
1、學英語的目的是使用英語,只能在用中體會它的規律,掌握它的方法,通過練習學會使用。因此我們要抓住每一個機會用英語。如課程表的書寫用英語,學習學科的英文書寫等。課上50個人,能有機會一定要抓住機會,而且要給自己創造機會練習口語,課下要尋找機會去練習使用英語。練習聽、說、讀等能力,做適量的練習鞏固課內知識。
2、關于語法知識的學習:掌握一定的語法知識是必要的,它是基礎,中國人學習外語要學點語法,但是過分地研究語法是不利于能力的培養的,這也是中國人學習英語的誤區。有人說,那么高考怎么辦?高考正是考查學生實際使用英語的能力,語法的考試也是在實際語境中考查,因此語篇的能力才是真正的能力。
3、語言的學習應聽、說、讀、寫全面發展,在開始階段應以聽說為主。高一新學期1—2月內主要以訓練自己的聽與說的能力為主要目標,逐步加大閱讀。

一、預習方法指導
預習是上課前對新知識的自學準備,是學好新課提高學習能力,取得好成績的基礎.進行課前預習能使對新學知識有個初步的了解,做到心中有數.對新學習內容作一番學習嘗試,可以提高分析問題,解決問題的能力.有利于提高思維能力,所以必須指導學生做好課前預習。指導的方法如下:
(1)設置預習,引導學生自學新內容.(2)粗讀、細讀新內容,尤其是Let’s learn、Let’s talk、Story time、Read and write等板塊內容。這就要求學生要從頭到尾大概地看一遍要講的新課內容,初步了解講些什么,哪些是舊知識,哪些是新知識,然后把需要預習的整個內容看上兩三遍,做到逐單詞逐句子的認真讀,并試著理解翻譯,讀后記錄。在讀的過程中,區分難點內容,爭取通過自己查英語詞典或請教別人鉆研解決,把弄不懂的問題,帶到上課中去,通過聽課解決。
(3)查補舊知識,理解新知識。
(4)做預習筆記。把預習中不能解決的問題記錄下來,以便上課時帶進課堂來解決。
(5)試做習題。在自學的基礎上,做一些練習,來檢查自己是否懂了。
二、復習方法指導
人的大腦記憶是有規律的,幫助學生鞏固知識的最好方法是復習。復習有課后復習,單元復習,期末復習,年終復習,在指導方法上有:
(1)使學生明確復習目的,其目的是為了對所學知識的理解和記憶,系統掌握知識,以便于在考試中獲得好成績和日后學習繼續學習選用.(2)使學生抓住學習的重點.課后復習以理解、記憶、掌握新知識為主。其它的復習以形成知識系統.復習的重點單詞書寫、句型練習、聽力測試、短文閱讀理解、綜合運用上.(3)使學生做到“三個為主”。復習時,以課本為主,以加深理解和加強記憶力為主,以系統練習為主。這樣才能在整體上掌握好所學知識。
三、做作業的方法指導
做作業是運用所學的知識,形成技能、技巧,加深理解和鞏固所學知識的重要任務。教師要教育學生獨立自主完成作業。指導學生做好以下幾點:
(1)要求學生先復習后做題。這樣就可以靈活的把學到的知識運用到解題答題上,提高作業質量。
(2)要求學生明確作業的要求。記清楚老師布置作業的份量,各題要求,完成的時間,交作業的時間,按時、保質、保量上交作業。
(3)指導學生做題要認真審題,理解題意,明確解題思路。答題時,最好先層次分明地打草稿,經檢查后再正式答作。
(4)要求學生做完作業要檢查,做作業要認真細致、一絲不茍。按時、按量、按質、按要求完成作業任務,爭取做對,"我的作業我滿意了,才交給老師。
(5)要求學生對批改后的作業,錯了的及時訂正。學生對老師批改后的作業,應既要看成績又要看對錯,如有錯漏,及時改正、補上,再有不懂,請教同學或老師幫助解決。
英語學習方法的指導
在英語教學中,要真正提高學生的英語水平,不但要調動學習英語的積極性,更重要的是注意培養學生良好的學習方法,下面我就談談幾種學法指導的做法。
一、聽說訓練指導
要學好英語,聽說是基礎。對于我們農村的學生來說,聽說訓練主要靠課堂上,我充分利用課堂上的40分鐘。首先,我讓學生認識到聽說在英語學習中的作用,聽得懂,說得對,才能讀得流利,寫得規范,并幫助他們克服怕說錯的畏難情緒。在課堂上,我盡量用學過的英語講課,也要求學生盡量用學過的英語回答問題,漢語中帶英語是常有的事。
二、聽課是學好英語重要的一環,一般來說,學習好的學生,就是會聽課的學生。
我要求學生課前把課本、筆、練習本等學習用具準備好,從老師進教室起,精力高度集中,眼、腦、手、口并用。用眼,就是看著老師的表情、動作、發音的口形等進行模仿和思維;動腦,就是分析、記憶和思考;動口,就是朗讀,操練和回答問題;動手,就是說錄新的知識內容。使學生變被動為主動,由觀眾變成演員。
三、記憶指導
1、單詞記憶。我指導學生用拼讀法、摘抄法和聯想法來記憶單詞。
2、對話的記憶。對話是字、詞、句和語法的綜合訓練和運用,可采取英漢比較進行記憶,即想著對話內容,用英語把它說出來。還可用想象記憶法進行記憶,即想象出對話的情景,內容進行記憶。
四、復習指導
復習是鞏固所學知識的重要環節。如果這一環抓不好,勢必造成新舊知識脫節。及時復習是強化記憶,控制遺忘,防止兩極分化的根本措施。根據心理學家的實驗證明:英語單詞和語法知識兩三天內遺忘最多,復習的間隔要先密后疏,即當天學過的知識晚上必須復習,我教學生,晚上睡覺前,閉上眼睛,過一遍電影,即把當天所學知識回憶一遍,第二天課前再過一遍,然后一周、一個月、三個月再鞏固幾次,這樣效果最好。
五、自學指導
教會他們使用《英漢詞典》,培養他們查詞典的好習慣;要求每個學生準備一本“疑難錄”,把看不懂的記下來,到學校時問老師,閱讀課外讀物時,不需逐字逐句弄懂,只需理解大意即可。
事實證明,要提高學生英語水平,必須在學法指導上多下功夫。

一、初二教材。高中英語課文長,信息量大,句子結構復雜難懂;語法知識點多(其中高中第一冊的定語從句就令好多同學頭疼),易混詞(語)難以辨別等,不容易理解與記憶。其次是初、高中學習方法的差異,初中生:在老師只點明有限的詞法與句法情況下,要求學習記憶與背誦,完成作業與練習,他們的成績也不會差。高中生:由于英語中詞法、句法、慣用法的學習量加大,需要同學有分析問題、解決問題的能力。這就要求每個同學都要善于學習,有好的學習方法。只有創造性地去學習才能取得好成績。
現在,高中學習才剛剛開始,同學們能否在開始階段就迅速調整,改進學習方法,這對于高中英語學習成績的提高將是非常重要的。下面提出幾點英語學習方面的建議供同學們參考。
第一、心態的調整。
1、摒棄曾經的優越。
要知道,過去只能成為升入一中的基石,而不能作為未來三年你拼搏的入腳點。在英語學習上或許曾經的你是遙遙領先于別人的,但是這種優越感在升學之初并不能讓你在這里得到驗證,“好手林立”,這就是你現在的所處的環境。所以,摒棄你那引以為傲的曾經,重新開始,在這個熔爐里得到充分的歷練。
2、建立信念。
如果你對英語的興趣缺乏,如果你曾經的英語成績不盡如人意,如果你害怕談及英語,那么在升學之初,你可以完全的忘記這些。因為英語學習主要是一個知識的積累過程,只要你是一個有心人,踏踏實實,勤勤懇懇,就一定能有所改變。
3.關注自己的學習方法。
不要刻意在乎考試成績這樣表面的問題,更多的要看到成績背后所反映的學習方法的不利。在升學之初,學習方法的建立是極其重要的,有了好的適合自己的學習方法,成績的提高只是時間問題。
第二、適應教師的授課方式。

預習以整個單元為單位,作好預習筆記,可從三個方面入手:1)把你認為的知識點記錄下來;2)給課文分段,并且寫出段落大意或找出主題句;3)把你不理解的語言點或句型寫下來。有了明確的預習目標,效果更好。
2、課堂上認真聽講,做好課堂筆記。
上課邊聽邊思考,力爭在課堂上解決問題,記筆記要尋找重點,有目的和有選擇地記筆記。首先,上課時讓頭腦如機器一樣迅速運轉,既能開展領悟、理解、聯想、歸納、1
自我設問、回憶等心理活動,又能緊跟老師的上課節奏,主動積極的參與課堂上的每一個環節,全面提高聽課效率。積極聽課與消極聽課效果是大不相同的:注意力集中,是聽課所需要的最基本的技巧,即使你對某個學科非常感興趣,如果消極的呆坐,沒有任何機會與老師對話,也很難長時間的集中精力。所以要做一個勤奮的聽眾。其次要認真做好課堂筆記。俗話說,“好記性不如爛筆頭”。有的學生不用筆記本,到處亂記。有時記在書上,有時記在練習冊上,復習時無法看到完整的筆記內容。有了專用的筆記本可隨時查閱、系統復習知識點。“適當”,指的是記筆記不要過密,要有選擇,要留點空白處,便于濃縮和加工。總之聽課時,盡量尋求一種平衡,既要記好筆記,又要認真聽課,二者不可矛盾。
3、及時、有針對性的復習。
“臨陣磨槍”在初中或許可行,但是在英語知識內容龐大的高中,沒有平時的積累和訓練,根本不行。高中的一節課堂,容量很大,學生大多時間是忙于做筆記,操練的時間很少,一節課下來,很多內容都擠在腦子里。而且,各個知識點的復現率不高,往往這次考試出現了,若干次別的考試中又遙無蹤影。因此,學生要自覺的通過多做練習,增加知識點的復現率來幫助自己記住繁多的知識點,這就要每天課后找時間復習當天課的內容,一個單元一復習,一個月一總結復習。并且這么做,還有一個好處:可以拓寬知識面,補充教材的不足,同時提高自己的能力。具體來說,至少應有五個“必備”:
①必備詞典和語法書,人手一冊。學生必須學會使用工具書,多用、善用工具書,并不斷提高查閱速度。用好了工具書就等于多了一位朝夕相伴的老師。
②必備袖珍筆記本。摘抄重要的、出現頻率較高的生詞,摘抄好的句型和句子,隨身攜帶,隨時翻閱,加強記憶。
③必備課堂筆記本。對于老師所講的重點內容,要記好筆記,便于復習鞏固。
④必備練習改錯本。把平時練習中、考試中出現的典型錯誤,及時抄寫在上面,供平時學習及考前復習之用,避免屢考屢錯,減少重復失分。
⑤必備書面表達本。堅持每天進行英語表達訓練:一句話、一段話、一篇日記等。養成良好的寫作習慣,提高寫作能力,為高考書面表達打下堅實的基礎。
4、養成獨立完成作業的習慣。
課外作業是鞏固運用知識和提高能力的一種手段,它應由同學們獨立完成,同時還要注意做作業的方式,從教學環節的連貫性來看,一般應先看書后作比較清晰地掌握了所學知識后,再通過完成作業來自檢學習情況,強化對有關內容的記憶,這樣才能收到較好的效果。
5、擴大閱讀量。
除了要完成老師布置的作業外,自己要有300-500字的閱讀量,因為閱讀能力是一切能力之本,也是高考要求的重中之重。所以培養閱讀能力也是高一階段的重點。選看一些英語刊物,如由China Daily 主編 21st Century School Edition.外語教學與研究出版社出版的書蟲系列.采用精讀和泛讀相結合。在閱讀中學習閱讀技巧,培養預測上下文,推斷隱含篩選信息和歸納總結能力。在閱讀中還應注重汲取文化背景知識,拓寬知識面,開闊視野。背誦,對于缺少英語環境的中國學生是不可或缺的。
