【教學目的】

1．組成生物體的化學元素主要有20多種，包括大量元素和微量元素。

2．組成生物體的主要化學元素的重要作用。

3．生物界與非生物界的統一性和差異性。

【教學重點】

組成生物體的化學元素的種類（大量元素及微量元素）和重要作用。

【教學過程】 引言

在緒論的學習中我們已經知道了生物體有6個基本特征。首先我們一起來回憶一下這六個特征？分別是共同的物質基礎、細胞、新陳代謝、生長、繁殖和遺傳、應激性。對于地球上已知的大約800多萬種生物來說，無論它們個體的大小、形態、結構和生理功能如何，它們的生命活動都有共同的物質基礎。而這些物質主要是指組成生物體的化學元素和化合物。這一節課我們來了解組成生物體的化學元素。

一、組成生物體的化學元素

組成生物體的化學元素種類有許多，它們的含量也各不相同，下面我們以玉米和人體為例（如左圖），來說明組成生物體的化學元素的種類和含量。

思考題：組成玉米和人體的各種化學元素在含量有什么共同點和不同點？ 共同點：在這些元素中，C、O、H、N 這4種元素的含量最多。

不同點：（1）組成生物體的化學元素雖然大體相同，但是，在不同的生物體內，各種化學元素的含量相差很大。例如：元素O在玉米體內占44.43 %，而在人體內只占14.62 %；元素N在玉米體內占6.24 %，而在人體內只占9.33 %。

（2）在同種生物體內，各種化學元素的含最相差也很大。例如：人體內，C占55.99%，而S只占0.78%，Zn更少，只占0.01%。

圖中所列的化學元素并不是組成生物體的所有化學元素，在生物體的細胞內至少可以找到62種元素，其中常見的約有29種，其中重要的有24種。所以，一般情況下可以說組成生物體的化學元素主要有20多種。從圖中我們可以知道，組成玉米和人體的基本元素是C。C、H、O、N、P、S這6種元素是組成原生質的主要元素，大約共占原生質總量的97%。

由于不同生物的元素種類大體相同，常見的有20多種，而不同生物的同種元素的含量不同，同種生物不同元素含量不同。因此，根據組成生物體的化學元素在生物體內的含量，我們將這些主要的生物元素分為兩大類：

1.大量元素：指含量占生物體總量萬分之一以上的元素。例如C、H、O，N、P、S、K、Ca、Mg等。其中，C、0、N、H是組成生物體的基本元素。

2.微量元素：通常是指生物進行生命活動所必需，但需要量卻很少的一些元素。例如Fe、Mn、Zn、Cu、B、Mo等。

強調：微量元素在生物體內的含量很少，卻是維持正常生命活動不可缺少的。

例如：微量元素B（硼）能夠促進花粉的萌發和花粉管的伸長，當柱頭和花柱中積累了大量B時，有利于受精作用的順利進行。在缺少B時，花藥和花系萎縮，花粉發育不良，也就是我們常說的“花而不實”。

二、組成生物體的化學元素的重要作用

主要有兩方面的重要作用：

一是化學元素進一步組成多種多樣的化合物，是生物體生命活動的物質基礎。如蛋白質、核酸、糖類、脂肪等生命活動的基本物質。例如具有生物催化作用的酶蛋白，具有免疫作用的抗體蛋白，就是由C、H、O、N等元素組成的。所有的生物的遺傳物質--核酸就是由C、H、O、N、P等元素組成的。

二是能夠影響生物體的生命活動。

舉例：Mg：葉綠素的組成元素，植物缺鎂，患“黃葉病”。

B：促進花粉的萌發和花粉管的伸長，缺少B時，“花而不實”。

Fｅ：血紅蛋白的組成元素，缺Fe患“缺鐵性貧血”。

Ｉ：甲狀腺素的組成元素，當缺乏時會造成甲狀腺合成減少，引起甲狀腺腫脹，俗稱“大脖子病”。Zn：與多種酶、核酸、蛋白質的合成有關，能促進人體的生長，當幼兒時期缺少Zn元素時，將會影響該小孩的長高。那么是不是補的越多越好呢？當然是否定的。

伯特蘭德（G.Bertrand）定律指出生物缺少某種必需的元素時就不能生存，適量時正常生長，過量時有毒。

例如：鈣是人體含量占第五位的元素，構成骨骼和牙齒，維持神經和肌肉的活動，促進體內酶的活動等。

鈣缺乏：長期缺乏鈣和維生素D可導致兒童生長發育遲緩、骨軟化及骨骼變形，嚴重者可導致佝僂病，中年人尤其是孕婦易患骨質軟化癥，老年人尤其是絕經后的女性易患骨質疏松癥。鈣缺乏者牙齒質量不高，易患齲齒。

鈣過多：血清鈣含量過高，則可抑制神經、肌肉的興奮性--肌無力。清華女生鉈中毒案件：

鉈是一種稀有金屬元素，銀白色，質軟，高毒類，燃燒時能發出十分美麗的綠色光焰。鉈和鉈的氧化物都有毒，能使人的中樞神經系統、腸胃系統及腎臟等部位發生病變。人如果飲用了被鉈污染的水或吸入了含鉈化合物的粉塵，就會引起鉈中毒。急性鉈中毒患者，有惡心、嘔吐、腹絞痛，甚至昏迷、抽搐、休克等癥狀。

慢性鉈中毒患者，初期為全身無力、食欲減退、頭暈、頭痛、失眠，隨后便出現手指震顫、視力減退、脫發等癥狀。

關于組成生物體的化學元素的作用，他們只有在生活的機體中，進一步組成多種多樣的化合物，才能體現出來。也就是說，化合物是生物體生命活動的物質基礎。

三、生物界與非生物界的關系

在之前的學習中我們從生物的主要特征了解了生物與非生物之間的區別，那么現在我們來從元素水平上認識生物與非生物之間的區別和聯系？

提問：1.請比較組成生物體的化學元素與無機自然界化學元素的種類，你會發現什么現象?這種現象說明了什么？你能解釋這種現象嗎？

組成生物體的化學元素，在無機自然界都可以找到，沒有一種化學元素是生物界所特有的。這個事實說明，生物界和非生物界具有統一性。產生這種現象的原因是生命本來是從無機自然界產生的，當然組成生命的物質來自于無機自然界，兩者是統一的。

2.既然生物界與非生物界具有統一性，那么組成生物體的化學元素在生物體內和在無機自然界中的含量是否相同呢？這個事實又說明什么呢？請閱讀教材P11有關內容回答。

組成生物體的化學元素，在生物體內和在無機自然界的含量不僅不同，而且相差很大。例如C、H、N這3種化學元素在組成人體的化學成分中，質量分數共占73%左右，而這3種元素在組成巖石圈的化學成分中，質量分數還不到1%。這個事實說明，生物界和非生物界還具有差異性。

四、總結

自然界中的生物和非生物都是由化學元素組成的。組成生物體的化學元素雖然在不同的生物體中含量不同，甚至相差很大，在同一生物體中不同化學元素含量相差也很大，但是它們有一個共同特點：就是都要組成多種多樣化合物，才有可能表現出豐富多彩的生命活動。
