Computer is a quite useful tool in our lives.But it is a terrible monster, It does harm to teenagers, So computer has both advantages and disadvantages.As we know,we can get lots of information from Internet,we can use it to chat with our friends and classmates, We can also download some wonderful movies and music to make us relax, We always find some useful things that we like,For example,we send Email to our penfriend to ask him to help us with our English.Thanks to the Internet ,People can finish their work quickly and correctly.There are many teenagers liking computer games,They often go to the Website Bar, As a result, It takes them much time,Their grade is falling,What is more ,they are in a bed health.So their parents are very worried about them.Although some games can improve people’s abilities,for example,League Legends,Cross Fire,DNF and so on,they will take up our lots of time,it is bad for our study and health.In a word ,computer is a good tool.Can you imagine our lives without computer?

玉樹地震

玉樹地震正牽動著每個中華兒女的心，在4月20日CCTV舉行的玉樹地震募捐晚會上，多位企業家再次伸出援手。以下這些人的捐款都有資格列入“金永慈善榜”，但由于今年榜單的統計時間截止到4月9日，因此今年沒有列入。

地區分布

從上榜慈善家的出生地分布上看，粵商仍然排名第一，有18人上榜。浙商和閩商緊隨其后，分別有15人和13人上榜。而在《2009金永百富榜》上，最多的是浙商，其次才是粵商，蘇商也較多，位列第三，閩商只排名第四。此外，出生在湖南、山東、陜西、山西、和甘肅的慈善家上榜人數比去年都有所增加。

永遠別放棄夢想-Never Give Up Hope

The first day of school our professor introduced himself and challenged us to get to know someone we didn't already know.I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder.I turned around to find a wrinkled，little old lady beaming up at me with a smile that lit up her entire being.She said，“Hi handsome.My name is Rose.I' m eighty－seven years old.Can I give you a hug？”I laughed and enthusiastically responded，“Of course you may.”and she gave me a giant squeeze.“Why are you in college at such a young，innocent age？”I asked.She jokingly replied，“I'm here to meet a rich husband，get married，have a couple of children，and then retire and travel.”“No，seriously？”I asked.I was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age.“I always dreamed of having a college education and now I'm getting one.”she told me.After class we walked to the student union building and shared a chocolate milk shake We became instant friends.Every day for the next three months we would leave class together and talk nonstop.I was always mesmerized listening to this“time machine”as she shared her wisdom and experience with me.Over the course of the year，Rose became a campus icon and she easily made friends wherever she went.She loved to dress up and she reveled in the attention bestowed up her from the other students.She was living it up.At the end of the semester we invited Rose to speak at our football banquet.I'll never forget what she taught us.She was introduced and stepped up to the podium.As she began to deliver her prepared speech，she dropped her three by five cards on the floor.Frustrated and a little embarrassed she leaned into the microphone and simply said，“I'm sorry I'm so jittery.I gave up beer for Lent(一種威士忌的牌子)and this whisky is killing me.I'll never get my speech back in order so let me just t ell you what I know.” As we laughed she cleared her throat and began：“We do not stop playing because we are old；we grow old because we stop playing.There are only four secrets to staying young，being happy，and achieving success.”

“You have to laugh and find humor every day.”

“You've got to have a dream.When you lose your dreams，you die.We have so many people walking around who are dead and don't even know it.”

“There is a huge difference between growing older and growing up.If you are nineteen years old and lie in bed for one full year and don't do one productive thing，you will turn twenty years old.If I am eighty－seven years old and stay in bed for a year and never do anything I will turn eighty－eight.Anybody can grow older.That doesn't take any talent or ability.The idea is to grow up by always finding the opportunity in change.”

“Have no regrets.The elderly usually don't have regrets for what we did，but rather for things we did not do.The only people who fear death are those with regrets.”

She concluded her speech by courageously singing“The Rose.”She challenged each of us to study the lyrics and live them out in our daily lives.At the year's end Rose finished the college degree she had begun all those years a go.One week after graduation Rose died peacefully in her sleep.Over two thousand college students attended her funeral in tribute to the wonderful woman who taught by example that it's never too late to be all you can possibly be.Remember，growing older is mandatory，growing up is optional.

我想過一個文明祥和的“新”年

光陰似箭，日月如梭，時光匆匆地從我們身邊擦肩而過，一年又一年，轉眼間我已走過了十個新年。每年都既興奮又有趣，因為每年都會收到位許多鼓鼓囊囊的壓歲錢，還會穿上漂亮的花花綠綠的新衣，吃好吃可口的年夜飯，特別是期盼著晚上的煙花秀！

瞧，我的奶奶、媽媽、爸爸和我又忙碌起來，過新年總得先把家“煥然一新”吧！于是我和奶奶齊心協力，把窗戶和地板擦得閃閃發亮，一塵不染。而爸爸媽媽則是把沙發擦得錚亮，又把家里的小玩具放得整整齊齊。新年新氣象，家也變“新”家了！

接著奶奶和媽媽在廚房嫻熟的忙碌起來，洗菜、切菜，準備了好多好吃的，還包著我愛吃的餃子，餃子在奶奶和媽媽的手下一個個的成形了，就像一個個可愛的胖娃娃，廚房里忙碌著。而一邊的爸爸卻悠閑地看著電視，而作為小朋友的我一邊吃著零食一邊看著漫畫等待美味的年夜飯。

其樂融融的年夜飯吃完天已經黑了下來，外面的鞭炮“噼噼啪啪”，“砰砰砰砰”煙花四起，我和爸爸跑到樓下看美麗的煙花。“砰”哇，一個花蹦上了天，在天空中綻出了笑臉，“砰”又是一個煙花飛上了天，那天調皮的煙花都陸續飛上了天，劃出一道道優美的弧線，就像一朵朵鮮花欣然怒放，此刻天空像是花的海洋。我也迫不及待地問爸爸我能不能去買花，爸爸爽快的答應了，于是我和爸爸有了想買了煙花去小區空的地方也放一放析想法，走到那空地已經有很多人在有說有笑的放著煙花，小朋友拿著鞭炮，大人拿著的煙花各種種樣，有大有小，形狀也是非常多樣。遠看的時候沒有什么味道，現在走煙花盛開的此處突然感覺有著刺鼻的味道，我急忙捂著鼻子和嘴巴，閃到了一邊，遠遠地也能看到放完的煙花還吐著煙霧。這時突然聽到一個小朋友大聲的哭了起來，原來是被鞭炮的響聲嚇到了，他的媽媽抱著小朋友急急的回家去了。過了一會兒爸爸嚴肅地說：“煙花雖然漂亮，但對空氣污染很大，你看剛剛那煙霧很濃，說明很少放煙花，而且剛剛那小孩顯然還被嚇到了呢！”我愣住了，過了一會才意識到嚴重性，“而且，”爸爸清了清嗓子繼續說，“如果放煙花稍有差錯，輕則傷皮膚，重則會炸傷眼睛、手足，甚至會有生命危險！？我聽了這句話，嚇得膽戰驚心，便下定決心以后再也不放煙花了，而且我還要力所能及的多勸勸他人盡量少放煙花！

大年初一的第一天，我和爸媽去給長輩拜年，手里拎著禮物興沖沖的到了長輩家里，進門就發現了一盒盒大大小小的禮品，包裝精美，但感覺有些華而不實。到了午餐時間，親戚帶領大家到了一個豪華的飯店，滿桌的菜，還有酒水也不少，大人們之間推杯換盞，好幾個大人還抽著煙，讓我新年的這餐美味吃得毫無滋味。回到家，我就想大人們不文明的行為可真多啊。媽媽也說了她小時候的年味：過年前幾天就開始有年味了，熱鬧而有趣，大人嘛做年糕，殺豬宰羊腌魚，小朋友的紅包也不像現在這么嚴重的攀比風，新年里走親訪友也是在自家吃飯，吃著自家燒的菜聊聊家常，其樂融融??

現在我仍然期待過新年，但是我更希望能過一個環保、文明的快樂新年！文明從我做起！
