《 旅游酒店英語(yǔ) 》教學(xué)大綱

一、課程的性質(zhì)、地位和作用:
《旅游酒店英語(yǔ)》是針對(duì)人文系英語(yǔ)教育專業(yè)的學(xué)生開(kāi)設(shè)的專業(yè)選修課,屬B類(理論+ 實(shí)踐)。本門課程有助于輔助學(xué)生拓寬知識(shí)面,具有較強(qiáng)應(yīng)用性和綜合性。
通過(guò)該課程的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生能夠了解酒店的基本情況和服務(wù)要求,學(xué)會(huì)與之相關(guān)的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)匯和表達(dá)方式。通過(guò)對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行模擬酒店特定情境完成交際任務(wù)的語(yǔ)言訓(xùn)練,提高英語(yǔ)交際技能等,為英語(yǔ)專業(yè)課的學(xué)習(xí)奠定基礎(chǔ)。
二、課程教學(xué)對(duì)象、目的和要求
該課程的開(kāi)始適合英語(yǔ)專業(yè)的二年級(jí)學(xué)生。
開(kāi)設(shè)本課程的目的在于使學(xué)生通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí),能夠比較全面地了解酒店的基本情況和服務(wù)要求,學(xué)會(huì)與之相關(guān)的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)匯和表達(dá)方式。通過(guò)對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行模擬酒店特定情境完成交際任務(wù)的語(yǔ)言訓(xùn)練,使學(xué)生了解大型賓館酒店的組織架構(gòu)和服務(wù)流程,對(duì)主要營(yíng)業(yè)部門及崗位工作中的常見(jiàn)服務(wù)情景了解并掌握其基本用語(yǔ),提高英語(yǔ)交際技能等,加強(qiáng)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的職業(yè)道德素養(yǎng)。
學(xué)習(xí)本課程,要求學(xué)生通過(guò)對(duì)各個(gè)情景對(duì)話的學(xué)習(xí),了解大型涉外賓館酒店的組織架構(gòu)、一般服務(wù)流程和員工素質(zhì)要求;熟悉并盡量背誦前廳、客房、餐飲三個(gè)部門的情景對(duì)話;掌握前廳部、房務(wù)部、餐飲部各個(gè)情景下的常用英語(yǔ)詞匯和基本交際用語(yǔ)。
三、課程的相關(guān)課程及其關(guān)系
學(xué)習(xí)本課程前,學(xué)生已具備了一定的英語(yǔ)知識(shí)和英語(yǔ)表達(dá)和交際能力。這為酒店知識(shí)的講解和練習(xí)儲(chǔ)備了較多的基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)。
學(xué)好本課程后,學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)興趣可以得到提高,并為其它課程的學(xué)習(xí)奠定基礎(chǔ),如口語(yǔ)、聽(tīng)力等。同時(shí),也為學(xué)生拓寬知識(shí)面起到了輔助作用。

本課程安排在第四學(xué)期,總課時(shí)為36節(jié)。其中理論16學(xué)時(shí),實(shí)踐20學(xué)時(shí)。

該門課程為考查。成績(jī)?yōu)?00分制,學(xué)生總評(píng)成績(jī)?nèi)Q于學(xué)生的出勤情況、課堂參與、課后作業(yè)和期末考試成績(jī),其中出勤占10%、課堂參與和課后作業(yè)占40%;期末考試占50%??荚嚥捎媒處熖釂?wèn)、角色扮演、情景模擬等口語(yǔ)形式考察學(xué)生對(duì)以酒店英語(yǔ)的掌握情況。
