Letter of Complaint

投訴信一般是針對質量低劣的產品或者服務而表達的不滿和抱怨,目的是為了讓對方根據所存在的問題給出合理的、所期望的解決方法。

投訴信的結構和內容為:第一部分,說明寫該信的主要意圖,即提出需要解決的問題和該問題給你造成的不良影響,以及解決問題的重要性;第二部分,說明詳細的情況,提出與投訴有關的重要依據,如商品的具體問題、購買日期和地點等;第三部分,提出建議,說出你所希望的解決方法和最后的結果。此外,還可以向對方建議解決問題的最后日期,并表示對所投訴問題的妥善解決充滿信心。

在寫投訴信時應注意以下幾個問題。

(1)要簡潔明了,誠實坦率。說明情況時,只要能夠證明你對此事已做了全面的了解即可,省去不相關的細節,盡量把篇幅限制在一頁之內,不要過于冗長。

(2)語氣堅定又不失禮貌,盡量避免尖銳的挑釁和責問。如果問題是針對個人的,盡量避免把鋒芒對準整個公司和團體。尤其當你投訴的公司或個人與你經常打交道時,一定要講求策略。

(3)如果該公司屢次給你提供質量低劣的服務并拒絕改變該情況,你認為唯一的解決辦法就是訴諸法律,表述你的感覺時要得體而又不失堅定。然而,除非你已決定要訴諸法律時才可以說這樣的話。

(4)如果你想要使你的投訴信更有分量,尤其是你想影響或改變某些立法式規定時,你可以讓幾個人和你聯合簽名。

(5)寫上你的聯系方式(姓名、地址、電話號碼和電子郵件地址等),以備對方與你磋商解決辦法時使用。

投訴信常見的表達方式如下。

(1)Mild(溫和的)complaint:

I will have to insist on a refund in full of the price/charge.我堅持要求全額退款。
