不知道對今年申請的兄弟姐妹還有沒有幫助，master結(jié)果偏晚的學校和專業(yè)或許可以參考。非申請總結(jié)，僅轉(zhuǎn)播74小時搶救AD行動。

該program的DDL是3.1，我在1月底submit完畢，2月初收到complete確認，但是小秘稱要等到3.1才會開始審材料。

//不管官方聲稱的是不是rolling admission，個人認為master還是盡量早提交，我們都無從得知那幫committee到底會怎么搞，壓線提交的話萬一真是rolling就虧大了。

2月份試圖套磁，給Program Director發(fā)了兩封郵件，給Program Specialist發(fā)了一封，均未得到回復。

//PhD有prof可以套，但是master不好說，因為要找到愿意理你、愿意幫你、在committee里說話有分量的人抱大腿，可是收了你對他還沒什么好處，至少對于這個career-oriented program而言，prof不會指望小碩能給伊做出神馬research。不過試一試總是應該的，只要郵件別寫的太X…你的名字在他眼前晃一晃或許有意想不到的效果哦~ The exposure effect啊！熟悉的事物會讓人產(chǎn)生莫名好感吶！

之前只有一份實習，太過于單薄了，而且還傻了吧唧的就寫了一份在CV上，事后無數(shù)人批評我真給中國人丟臉，連編都不會編一個。于是頂著畢設、四門課、以及想出去旅游的沖動，我還是決定找實習，美國公司，并且在該program的幾個concentration里面找一個去match一下。

等到3月底實在不淡定，按去年應該發(fā)interview了，問了小秘說三周之內(nèi)會update status.又等了兩周沒動靜，極強的不祥預感，應該是最后再慢慢發(fā)rej吧…

I understand that many qualified students may be denied because of class size, but I would feel terribly sorry if I were one of them.It was around June 2011 that I first saw MHB's website, fell in love with this unique program and paid continuous attention to every small change in those pages.I can even list all your new information and requirement compared with last year(^_^)……

回得真快啊，亮點在于時間，LA早上5點多……

Professor: You are certainly passionate about this goal…… I will see if the Admissions Committee is willing to move you onto waiting list……//老頭子松口了，看到希望了~ 接下來的內(nèi)容比較個人化，故簡單介紹了。

老頭子表示，他擔心non-native English speakers with limited work experience不能在LA找到實習，完成不了學分畢不了業(yè)，故希望我提供證明自己肯定能在中國搞到實習，這份assurance將非常helpful。

//哈哈，問題的關(guān)鍵找到了，這恐怕才是拒了我的核心原因吧，不就是assurance嘛，你想要你就說嘛，你不說我怎么知道你想要呢？

又一封冠以Admission Committee Decision的郵件降臨，Dear Ms.Xiang--Congratulations!我本以為是把我成功放到了waiting上，還想著下面怎么套出我在WL上的位置，繼續(xù)增加曝光率，一有人decline就想到我……結(jié)果打開電腦再仔細看看，貌似這就錄取了~沒想到一步到位了！

1)找準管事兒的人，第一封郵件砸過去，言簡意賅，戳重點，打動人，確保引起注意。

2)務必搞清楚被拒絕的核心原因，借口也好，理由也罷，提供最有力的證據(jù)，各個擊破。

3)積極跟進，發(fā)動一切可以動用的關(guān)系，不是有六度分隔理論(Six Degrees of Separation)咩。

4)注意語氣，不卑不亢，別搞得太低三下四，沒必要，當然也不能太拽了，總之別讓對方懶得理你。

5)實驗性地適當加點小技巧，語法上使使壞啊，一個簡單的小表情啊:)連閾限下刺激都有用，有沒有attention就顯得不那么致命了。

6)offer寺我還真沒去，AD鈣奶也沒喝，只去過雍和宮，decline掉不去的學校，個人認為趕快withdraw or decline最實在最積德。

為了使得這份經(jīng)歷可以被借鑒，故隱去了Song Cao及其老板的大力支持！還要感謝Mommy, Daddy, Joanna Ma, Cissy Wang, Irene Shen, Huan Wang, Amanda Yi, Prof Gong……在這艱難四天里的幫助與陪伴。

雙飛一個學校真心不容易，PhD要精確到match的professor，master要找到能申想申且vision相符的program，太多權(quán)衡取舍，太多未知不可控因素。

大城市有大城市的不安全，村兒有村兒的不安全，出了事兒剛好普及一下安全常識也挺好。再告訴我LA不好我也不會回頭了，LA會是我們的第一個窩，準備迎接新生活吧~

關(guān)于拒簽問題的申訴
