本次期末考試已經結束,通過這次考試反映的問題,在今后的教學中我應該著重從這幾點入手:

1.首先要過“單詞關”。

這項指標的要求是:會讀----能夠正確地、地道地發音;會認----知道中文意思;會寫----能夠根據提示書寫。

這次考試可以看出學生在單詞方面不扎實,個別學困生基本不得分,單詞是學英語的基礎,這里“單詞”的涵義并非僅僅指一個獨立的詞,還涵蓋一些必須連在一起用才有意義的短語。不要僅僅孤立地記憶單詞,還要把單詞放到句子中去應用,掌握其實際的用法。單詞掌握了,語言遷移的能力方能逐漸建立。所以在下學期要加強對學困生的輔導,爭取突破單詞關。

2.培養學生良好的課前預習自學習慣

凡是在外語學習達到了極高水平的人,其共同的成功經驗是:固定一種教材,跟讀磁帶錄音模仿,背誦。

一般的預習步驟是:

1、跟讀磁帶:一詞一詞,2.一句一句,3.反復4.地、大聲地跟讀、模仿、對比磁帶發音,5.模仿純粹的英語語音、語調,6.矯正發音,7.訓練英語聽力

英語遺忘性特別強,每兩周要將以前背誦過的篇章復習一遍;訓練學過的單詞,句型,表達;鞏固拓展,溫故而知新。

3、狠抓基礎,培養能力。學生是教學的主體。因此,了解和分析學生情況,有針對地教學對教學成功與否至關重要。尤其是在后進生的輔導上,更是要注意這些。這個學生到底時哪里有問題,要找準問題的關鍵。為他們打好扎實的語言基礎,特別是最基本的詞匯、習慣用法和常用句型,要反復訓練,做到舉一反三。單詞教學一定要做到詞不離句,這樣學生在學會單詞的同時,也學會了詞的一些基本用法,同時加強對單詞,句型的檢查力度;強化閱讀訓練,在平時的教學中除了要加大閱讀量以外,還要讓學生見到更多的閱讀理解題型。

4、講求方法,豐富課堂。在教學過程中老師是教學的領導者和參與者。講求方法,豐富課堂是教師在整個教學過程中首要的任務。英語作為一門外語言,需要多應運。困此,除了課堂效果之外,還需要讓學生多讀,多講,多練。上課內容豐富,現實。教態要自然,講課生動,難易適中照顧全部,就自然能夠吸引住學生。所以,老師每天都要有充足的精神,讓學生感受到一種自然氣氛。這樣,授課就事半功倍。

7、端正學生的學習態度,培養其良好的行為習慣,如:認真審題、認真做題、認真檢查的好習慣,使其發揮應有的水平,取得更為優異的成績。

兩極分化現象始于初一后半學期,初二上學期開始加劇,造成學生學英語積極性不高,出現兩極分化,要想避免這種情況的出現,我想了以下幾點對策。

第一,從預防入手,切實抓好初中入門教學。

英語入門教學是學習英語的啟蒙階段,該階段決定著學生在英語學習方面的提高與發展。首先教師要及時摸清新任班級學生的情況,其中包括學生的原學習學校、學力基礎、家庭情況、學生個性、學習態度和學習習慣等。對性格內向、有困難傾向的學生要引導他們多開口,多與他人交往,使學生從一開始就體驗到英語教師對他們的特別關愛,增強他們克服學習困難的自覺性和毅力。其次針對農村學生拼音基礎差和模仿能力不強的弱點,強化語音教學,著手培養學生的拼音能力,使學生掌握讀音規則,過好語音關,為學生記憶和積累詞匯奠定基礎。再者要在學法上及時指導學生,學生在識記英語時,應給學生闡述記憶與遺忘的規律,介紹循環記憶法和艾賓浩斯的遺忘曲線,正確的學法是成功的保證,通過教師有意識地引導、督促和檢查,使學生盡早掌握正確的學習方法:課前自主預習,課上仔細觀察、大膽模仿、積極參與,認真做好筆記,課后及時復習鞏固,每天堅持誦讀與背誦,運用多種方法識記單詞,認真書寫、獨立完成作業,盡早開展課外閱讀,積極練習口語會話等等,一旦學生養成了良好的學習習慣,教學就成功了一半。

第二,要具有高度負責的精神,并且要尊重愛護學生,建立融洽的師生關系。教師努力工作,恪盡職守,以無聲的力量感染學生,贏得學生的尊敬與欽佩。在這前提下教師主動接近學生,對學生熱愛和尊重,會促使學生萌發一種不學好英語就對不起老師辛勤培育的內心情感體驗,教師的熱愛與尊重尤其在差生身上會起到格外的效應。因為一些后進生經常受到人們歧視和白眼、孤立和挖苦、嫌棄和羞辱,他們的長處常被忽視,自尊心受到壓抑,產生了自卑心理,喪失了學習信心。若老師善于發現差生湮沒在缺點中的閃光點和學習上微小的進步,及時給予表揚、鼓勵,不斷地給予引導,點燃他們自尊的火種,引導他們潛能的發揮,有助于喚起學生學習英語的熱情,課堂上老師利用生動的語言、和藹的教態、恰當的手勢,使學生能感覺到師生間和諧的情感交流和融洽的合作氣氛。當學生經啟發仍答不出所問問題,可說些“Never mind”“Think it over”等之類的,不能動輒板起面孔訓斥、挖苦、諷刺學生。在教學工作中,教師若說錯了話,或批評不當,或寫錯一個單詞等,向學生說聲“I’m sorry”,從而增進師生間情感的溝通和交流。只有師生間有了融洽的關系,才能在教與學上產生共鳴,學生特別是差生也樂于學這門課。

第三,進行分層教學,特別要關注中下層學生的學習。

一般鄉鎮初中,學生素質、成績差距大,如果在教學上搞一刀切,那就只能適應部分中等學生的需求,從而挫傷好差兩頭學生的積極性,甚至導致學生出現厭學情緒。為解決“好生吃不飽”、“差生吃不了”的問題,可大膽進行同堂復式教學,即分層教學。可按學生自學程度、成績好差分成A、B、C、D四組,進行分層次備課,如分層次設計課堂練習,提問的問題、作業及目標檢測內容分必做和選做兩部分,必做為基本題,選做為提高題。D組同學做必做題,A組同學兩部分都做,B、C兩組同學選擇做選做題。然后進行分層授課,分層輔導。值得注意的是,無論是讓學生回答問題,還是糾正作業中的錯誤,評價考試成績,決不讓后進生成為一個“被遺忘的角落”,真正做到因材施教。對學習一時跟不上的學生的輔導,采取“苯鳥先飛”的做法,也就是教師在課前幫助他們預習新課。教師和慢生一起學習,實際上是在教給他們學習英語的正確方法,培養他們自學英語的能力,提高他們學習英語的效率。在預習時,教師把一節或幾節課要講的內容提前給慢生講一遍,讀讀生詞詞組,講講記憶方法,學學句型語法,介紹新課要點,理解課文對話,一起讀讀練練,并要求慢生在此基礎上進一步預習,為上新課作好準備。這樣上新課時他們不但能聽懂,而且能與其他同學一起參加聽、說、讀、寫的實踐練習。教師還應多提問他們有把握的問題,有意給他們以“表現”的機會,借以鼓勵他們重樹信心。開始幫助慢生預習時,講練慢一些,內容細一些,程度淺一些,隨著他們英語水平的逐漸提高,就可以快一些,多一些,稍深一些。這樣就使學生自學能力不斷提高。在新課結束后教師還要督促他們對所學知識加以鞏固。

總之,在英語教學中避免兩極分化的這項工作是一項艱巨而長期的系統工程,需要教師做好以下五個方面的結合:即預防和糾正相結合,心靈溝通和輔導相結合,改革教法與指導學法相結合,開發智力和挖掘非智力因素相結合,綜合轉差與學科特點相結合。

建新路小學英語教學改進措施在過去幾年的發展中,建新路小學英語教學工作雖然取得了一定的成績,教師隊伍建設,教師素質不斷提高,英語教學特色逐漸形成,但仍存在著師資緊、課時少、任務重、學生兩極分化明顯、教學質量下滑等方面的問題,面對這些問題,學校領導積極研究策略,為提高教學質量提出了改進措施。

一、指導思想

堅持以《英語課程標準》為指導,以全縣教育教學大會的會議精神為動力,以課堂教學為陣地,堅持面向全體學生,抓好英語師資隊伍建設,切實轉變教學觀念,努力創設良好的英語教學環境,為進一步提高質量打下良好的基礎。

二、英語教學情況分析

1、英語開設情況。建新路小學在3——6年級各班均開設了常規英語教學,且嚴格執行了義務教育課時安排。

2、師資情況分析。建新路小學目前共有五名英語教師,所有教師皆為跨年級教學,擔任3——6年級各班英語教學工作,五名英語教師多為中青年教師,學歷均達標。

3、學校英語教學環境分析。縣教育局領導高度重視建新路小學英語教學工作,為學校的英語教學工作提供了最大的支持和高度的關注與指導,但在教學實踐中,總體

情況和結果總是不太盡如人意,具體表現在:一是學生認識不清。從學生的角度看,小學階段英語只不過是副科,根本不能和語文數學相比,雖然我們英語老師非常重視,但是在許多學生的潛意識里,根本沒有把英語學習當一回事兒;二是家長重視程度不高。從家庭的角度看,我們學生的家長聽得懂英語的都很少,更別說輔導孩子了,也就更談不上重視了;三是缺乏英語學習環境。學生除了在課堂短短的40分鐘外,基本就沒有應用英語的地方。

三、主要工作措施

(一)加強組織領導,提高重視程度

1、學校安排有豐富英語教學經驗的副校長劉國宏同志主抓教學工作。

2、成立了英語教研組,為開展英語教學研究、教學方式方法探討提供了便利條件。

3、學校在英語教學方面作了大量的傾斜: 英語教師不帶班,教學課時有了保證,英語課也能從早上開始安排。

(二)加強理論學習,更新教師觀念

1、要認識到英語教學在整個素質教育中的重要地位和作用,組織開展《英語課程標準》的學習和研討活動,努力將正確的思想理念轉化為積極可行的教學實踐活動,提高學習的針對性和實效性。每位教師要認真通讀1—2種英語教學研究刊物,以提高自身的理論素養。

2、認真貫徹落實教育部《關于積極推進小學開設英語課程的指導意見》和《小學英語課程教學基本要求》等文件精神,明確小學階段英語課程的目的是激發學生學習英語的興趣,培養他們學習英語的積極態度,建立初步學習英語的自信心,培養學生一定的語感和良好的語音、語調基礎,使學生初步形成用英語進行簡單日常交流的能力,為終身發展服務。

3、組織教師認真學習冀教版教材的大綱要求,明確教學任務,深挖教材,深研教法,力爭使每一節課都成為高效課堂。

(三)加強教學常規落實,提高教學效益

1、進一步細化備課。在以往要求的備課與教案設計做到細致、到位、有效,超周備課的基礎上,進一步細化備課內容,充分體現《課標》要求,體現英語課堂的特點。切實做到實際、實效、實用,切勿為備課而備課,備課時要充分考慮所教年級學生的特點和不足。注重積累課時教學經驗,要求教師在課后時常開展教學反思,反思要反映本節課教學的優點,創新點和不足之處,以及對不足之處的整改措施,要有目標達成情況分析以及原因分析。

2、改進課堂教學,提高課堂效率。在教研組長的組織下全體教師共同分析確定每一課時的三維教學目標、教

學重點、教學難點、教學方法、教學過程中的如何確立新知識拓展內容以及如何創設教學情境。要精心設計每一堂課,精心設計有效的活動和任務。在課堂教學中,充分注意到英語作為一種語言的特性,創設語言情境,激發學生的學習興趣。在活動設計中,要充分體現自主、互助學習的特點,多采用自主或是互助的學習模式。為引導教師進行課堂教學研究,提升課堂教學水平,要求教師每學期互相聽課、評課,開展英語優質課評比活動。

2、通過說課、聽課、評課、講座、集體備課、教材分析等活動,讓教師過好大綱關和教材關,盡快明確備課、上課的基本規范,適應小學英語的教學要求,利用外出學習培訓的機會,借鑒他人的成功之處,學習他地的成功經驗,不斷提高自身的業務素質。

3、充分發揮優秀教師的示范作用,組織優秀教師開展理論講座、上示范課、研究課,創造機會讓更多的青年教師脫穎而出。
