一般現在時和現在進行時的不同之處有以下幾點:

1)基本用法不同;2)謂語動詞的形式不同;3)時間狀語不同;4)有不同的特殊用法。

一、基本用法不同

【1】一般現在時用來表示習慣性的動作或狀態。

如She goes to school by bike every day.她每天騎自行車去上學。

【2】現在進行時用來表示現在(說話的瞬間)正在發生或進行的動作或者用來表示現階正在進行或存在的狀態。如:Look!She is reading under the tree.瞧!她正在樹下看書。

二、謂語動詞的形式不同 【1】一般現在時的謂語動詞:

一、教學背景:

⑴新課程改革要求英語課程必須面向全體學生,激發學生學習英語的興趣,幫助學生建立學習的成就感和自信心,使學生在學習過程中發展綜合語言運用能力。⑵由于學生的基礎偏差,雖然經過了三年的英語學習,但是沒有什么起色,連最基本的時態的用法都分不清。這主要是以下原因造成的:①詞匯量少;②對句子理解不夠透徹;③不知如何區分各個時態的用法。

二、學情分析:

經過一個多學期的強化學習,部分學生詞匯量擴大了,已經能夠正確理解句子了,對各個時態的區分已經有了基本上的認識。

教材及學情分析:語言結構重點和難點是過去進行時。以前學生從未接觸過的一個語法項目。是一節前置語法課。學生對現在進行時已經比較熟悉,過去進行時的結構和用法與之較為相似。

我在重難點突破方面進行了如下嘗試:

一、情景導入:練習現在進行時態,為過去進行時學習鋪路搭橋

與學習重點關系最密切的時態是現在進行時,我設計了一個游戲“猜動作”環節進行練習。我準備了六張小紙條,上面用英語寫著“打乒乓球,彈吉他,打鼓,開汽車,放風箏,切蛋糕”。請一名學生到前面,從教師手中抽取一張紙條,照上面所寫表演一動作,其他學生輪流猜,如:Are you eating a banana?(你正在吃一個香蕉嗎?)做動作的學生用 “Yes, I am./No, I’m not.”來回答是或否。猜中的學生到班級前面接著抽取下一個動作并表演。游戲繼續。

這項活動能調動學習積極性,復習現在進行時態。為過去進行時的學習進行鋪墊。

二、精講規則:引導學生自己歸納過去進行時的構成并及時指導

畢竟是種新的語法,我覺得有必要幫助學生自己復習透徹現在進行時以后再推斷出過去進行時,所以,在黑板上逐步板書呈現了兩種語法的比較,以利于層層深入,也讓學生一目了然。

起先,我先通過現在進行時態的講解,引出過去進行時態,并引導學生猜出過去進行時的構成,及其否定形式和疑問形式,指出這些變化方式與現在進行時一樣.三、專項練習:先說后寫,層層練習過去進行時 1.口頭練習我設計了多個: 練習was /were的用法, 對學生進行大范圍的造句練習,采用了老師說出時間 “then”和主語,學生站起說出完整句子的形式。如, “I was working then.”是面向全體的練習。

練習現在分詞的構成.單個同學回憶規則.三種常用的規則特地作了分類處理,如果學生不提及,老師要特別指出以“ie”結尾的動詞現在分詞的變化方式。盡管類似的單詞較少,但極易出錯,也是考試的一個重點。

練習Lucy在上周不同時間干的事情.用二人小組練習.涵蓋了第三人稱,否定形式,一般疑問形式和回答.我還設計了明確的時間狀語讀記,即

文章是我根據第六模塊第一單元的對話中的內容整合后改寫的,涵蓋了肯定、否定和疑問形式,反復出現的過去進行時,讓學生不斷鞏固、落實,再鞏固。

對于寫出動詞的現在分詞來,我采用了“誰能用最簡單的描述對答案?”的方式,使學生再次注意到了四種形式的動詞變化。而第二三題,在學生獨立做完題后,詢問:“Is there anything difficult?”(有難題嗎?)把難題集中講解后,再進行小組檢查,改錯。

四、綜合運用:采用了先進行口語交際;夾雜規則的再次精講,著重在于把過去進行時態與一般過去時進行對比;最后落實到筆頭訓練的形式。

1.拓展延伸,詢問查兇,口語交際,練習過去進行時:

在學生對過去進行時已經有了較為充分的理解之后,我特別設計了一個口語交際環節,“詢問嫌犯,找出真兇”,即給出幾個特定的背景,如密室里的謀殺案,暴風雨之夜的謀殺案,和鉆石失竊案。需要學生運用所學的過去進行時,設計好臺詞,隱藏起線索。而在充分的小組準備后,上臺表演時,警察詢問嫌疑人,一步步呈現劇情,其他人當好偵探和觀眾,推測誰是兇手/小偷,而且幫助改錯。這樣的設計,更能調動學生的參與興趣,既要開動腦筋,精心準備,還要仔細聆聽,細心觀察,做出判斷或改錯。

在組內練習時,先是主持者以第三人稱為主語分配角色任務,或者自己以第一人稱為主語爭取角色,練習及表演時,用第一人稱呈現,推測時,再使用第三人稱分析,多次練習過去進行時態。

這個環節,對學生用英語表述、分配任務、推斷案情的要求極高。尤其是對用過去進行時提問,回答、推測,使學生把剛練習過的時態落實到實戰—實際交際中來,這種設計應該是一種極為有效的反饋矯正手段。

2.再次精講規則,區別于最易混淆的一般過去時,突出其差別,強化過去進行時的用法;

讓學生對比一般過去時和過去進行時的區別,使學生對這些時態的不同用法有了更深刻的理解。特別指出不適宜使用進行時態的瞬間動詞,如開始,結束,和知道,聽見,看見等表示結果的動詞,和“when, while”的用法,注意板書呈現。

3.進行綜合運用練習,重點突出過去進行時適用和不適用之處;

用一般過去時和過去進行時相比較的練習題。使學生了解到過去進行時的用法及其不同之處。

該部分練習我采用了二者選其一的選擇題的方式,獨立做題后有利于集體判斷,我沿用了平時聽聽力和單項選擇時通答案的做法,即伸手指一二代替a和b,這樣有助于老師有針對性地發現學生出錯之處,從而及時跟上重點講解或點評。

至此處,黑板上的規則已經完全呈現,而學生在老師的提示下,完成了happen在這三種不同時態中的用法呈現。完成了本節課回顧鞏固。整節課我注意激發學生的學習積極性,調動更多學生的參與熱情,引導學生學會學習,做課堂的真正主人。

一、現在進行時的含義

現在進行時是由“助動詞be(am, is, are)+動詞-ing”構成,表示說話者“此刻”或現階段的行為。

二、現在進行時的基本結構

1.肯定句:主語+be(am, is, are)+現在分詞+??例如: I am speaking with him on the phone.我正和他通電話。

He is playing tennis.他正在打網球。

My parents are dancing.我父母正在跳舞。

2.否定句:主語+be not+現在分詞+??例如:

I'm not studying.我沒在學習。

She is not reading now.現在她不是在看書。

They are not writing.他們沒在寫。

3.一般疑問句:Be動詞+主語+現在分詞+???例如:

(1)— Is she still helping Li Ling?

她還在幫助李玲嗎?— Yes, she is.是的。/No, she isn't.不,她沒在幫李玲。

(2)— Are you listening to music?

你正在聽音樂嗎?

— Yes, I am.是的。/No, I'm not.不,我沒有聽音樂。

4.特殊疑問句:特殊疑問詞+be動詞+主語+現在分詞+???例如:

— What are you studying? 你正在學什么? — I'm studying English.我在學英語。

— What is Mike doing? 邁克在做什么?----He is watching the football match.他在看足球比賽。

三、現在分詞的變化規則

1.一般在動詞末尾加ing,如:

think-thinking

go-going

2.以不發音字母e結尾的動詞,先去掉e,再加ing,如:

come-coming

make-making

3.以重讀閉音節結尾的動詞,中間只有一個元音字母,詞尾只有一個輔音字母,應雙寫末尾的輔音字母,再加ing, 如:

put-putting

run-running

四、現在進行時的基本用法

1.表示此時此刻(說話者)正在進行的動作。例如:

The teacher is talking with his students.這位老師正在同他的學生交談。

What are you doing now? 你現在干什么呢?

2.表示現階段正在進行的動作,但此刻并不一定在進行。例如:

We are doing an experiment this week.我們這個星期正在做一個實驗。

(但說話時并不一定在做實驗。)

3.現在進行時有時可用來表示將來發生的動作,這一用法常用于go, come, leave, start 等短暫性動詞,后面也常用表示較近的將來時間狀語(如tomorrow, tonight, this morning/Friday等),表示安排或計劃好的事情。例如:

We are leaving for Shanghai tomorrow.我們明天啟程去上海。

4.現在進行時表示說話時正發生的或者正進行的動作。常與時間狀語 now , at the moment 等連用。

It is raining hard now.Don't hurry.I am writing a letter.Will you please turn down the radio ?

一.一般現在時描述現在或經常性的動作性質或狀態的時態

一、基本用法不同

【1】一般現在時用來表示習慣性的動作或狀態。如:She goes to school by bike every day.她每天騎自行車去上學。

【2】現在進行時用來表示現在(說話的瞬間)正在發生或進行的動作或者用來表示現階段正在進行或存在的狀態。如:Look!She is reading under the tree.瞧!她正在樹下看書。

二、謂語動詞的形式不同

【1】一般現在時的謂語動詞:1)be動詞用am/is/are這三種形式;2)實義動詞用動詞原形或第三人稱單數形式(根據主語數的變化而變化)。

【2】現在進行時謂語動詞的形式為: am / is / are+動詞-ing 形式。如: We go to school at seven in the morning.我們早晨七點鐘上學。I am reading English now.我現在正在讀英語。

三、時間狀語不同

【1】一般現在時常與often, sometimes, always, usually等頻率副詞及once a week/day等頻率短語連用,還與 every morning /day / week..., on Wednesday, in the morning / afternoon / evening等時間狀語連用。

【2】現在進行時常與now, these days, these weeks等時間狀語連用。句首有 Look!/ Listen!等提示語時,后面的句子中動詞一般用現在進行時。

四、特殊用法

1.一般現在時的特殊用法: 表示客觀真理、自然現象往往要用一般現在時表示。如:The moon goes round the earth.月亮繞著地球轉。2.現在進行時的特殊用法: 現在進行時與always 連用時,往往含有贊揚、厭惡、責備等感情色彩。如: He is always working hard.他總是非常努力地工作。(表示贊揚)

come, go, begin, start, leave 等動詞常用現在進行時表示將要發生的動作。如:I'm coming.我就來。
