（一）一般現在時

1．定義：表示經常性的動作。經常與頻率副詞（時間狀語）連用：often經常, usually通常, always總是，every每個, sometimes有時，at…在幾點鐘等。只有第三人稱單數用動詞三單形式，其余動詞均用原形。

2.三單變化： 多數在動詞后加s play—plays like—likes； 以s，x，sh，ch，o結尾的動詞加es go—goes wash--washes ；以輔音字母加y結尾，把y改i再加es fly—flies

3.基本結構：動詞原形（如主語為第三人稱單數，動詞要改為第三人稱單數形式）

4.否定形式：am/is/are+not；此時態的謂語動詞若為行為動詞，則在其前加don't,如主語為第三人稱單數，則用doesn't，同時還原行為動詞。

5.一般疑問句：把be動詞放于句首；用助動詞do提問，如主語為第三人稱單數，則用does，同時，還原行為動詞

（二）現在進行時

1.定義：表示（說話瞬間）正在進行或發生的動作,也可表示目前或現階段一直在進行我動作。經常與now, at the moment, look, listen，be quiet等詞連用。

2.基本結構：be(am/ is/ are)＋v-ing（動詞的現在分詞）

I’m watching TV now.They’re playing football.3.現在分詞的構成：

（1）一般情況下在動詞詞尾加ing。

go→goingask →askinglook→looking

（2）以不發音的e結尾的動詞，去掉e加ing。

have →havingtake→takingmake→makingwrite→writing

（3）以一個輔音字母結尾的重讀閉音節，雙寫最后一個字母，再加-ing。get→gettingswim→swimmingbegin→beginningshop→shopping(4)以ie結尾的重讀開音節，變ie為y，再加ing

4.現在進行時態的肯定式、否定式、疑問式及簡略回答。

（1）肯定式：be＋v-ingShe is singing in the next room.（2）否定式：be＋not＋v-ingThe students aren’t cleaning the room.（3）一般問句：be動詞提前。

肯定答語Yes，主語＋be，否定答語No，主語＋be not。

5.特殊疑問問句：疑問詞＋be ＋主語＋doing＋其他？(疑問詞＋一般疑問句)What is the old man doing under the tree?

（三）現在進行時與一般現在時的區別：

1.現在進行時表示動作的暫時性，而一般現在時表示動作的習慣性和經常性I am watching TV now.（暫時性）

I watch TV every day.（經常性）

2.現在進行時可表示短暫性動作，而一般現在時表示長久性動作。

Lucy is living in Beijing.（短時間居?。?/p>

Lucy lives in Beijing.（長久性居?。?/p>

一般現在時和現在進行時的不同之處有以下幾點：

1)基本用法不同；2)謂語動詞的形式不同；3)時間狀語不同；4)有不同的特殊用法。

一、基本用法不同

【1】一般現在時用來表示習慣性的動作或狀態。

如She goes to school by bike every day.她每天騎自行車去上學。

【2】現在進行時用來表示現在(說話的瞬間)正在發生或進行的動作或者用來表示現階正在進行或存在的狀態。如：Look!She is reading under the tree.瞧！她正在樹下看書。

二、謂語動詞的形式不同 【1】一般現在時的謂語動詞：

1)be動詞用am/is/are這三種形式；2)實義動詞用動詞原形或第三人稱單數形式(根據主語數的變化而變化)。【2】現在進行時謂語動詞的形式為： am / is / are+動詞-ing 形式。如： We go to school at seven in the morning.我們早晨七點鐘上學。I am reading English now.我現在正在讀英語。

三、時間狀語不同

【1】一般現在時常與often, sometimes, always, usually等頻率副詞及once a week/day等頻率短語連用，還與 every morning /day / week..., on Wednesday, in the morning / afternoon / evening等時間狀語連用?！?】現在進行時常與now, these days, these weeks等時間狀語連用。句首有 Look!/ Listen!等提示語時，后面的句子中動詞一般用現在進行時。

四、特殊用法

【1】一般現在時的特殊用法： 表示客觀真理、自然現象往往要用一般現在時表示。如：The moon goes round the earth.月亮繞著地球轉。

【2】現在進行時的特殊用法： 現在進行時與always 連用時，往往含有贊揚、厭惡、責備等感情色彩。如： He is always working hard.他總是非常努力地工作。(表示贊揚)【3】come, go, begin, start, leave 等動詞常用現在進行時表示將要發生的動作。如：I'm coming.我就來。
