they hoped to find.....如果幾個句子的主語是同一事物, 則可以把幾個句子合并為一個句子
在把握中心句子的前提下, 注意其他成分的合成.如果是主動關系, 用ing形式 保留一個句子做主句, 其他的變成非謂語動詞
非謂語動詞采用何種形式, 則根據(jù)其與主語的關系, 如果是主動關系, 用ing, 被動關系, 則用動詞的ed形式
主句與其他句子的位置安排要保持句子的平衡, 還要注意動作的連貫 the boy went home.the boy was crying.the boy was beaten beaten by sb, the boy went home, crying.armed with / hoping to find entrance to /of :.....的入口 under the ground Tired, I went home./ I went home tired.句子順序不同, 表達的意思也不同 Very exciting,.....形容詞短語做狀語
如 : Tired of sleeping on the floor,....(見lesson 49)two feet deep數(shù)詞+量詞+形容詞 long/wide/high/deep 人有多高用 “tall” I am five years old.數(shù)詞+量詞+形容詞結構可以做定語;也可以做表語 the street is wide.the street is five meters wide.文中 “a small gold coin” 沒說成 “a gold small coin” 離名詞最近的形容詞是最被強調的 in spite of盡管/ though / even if something of value(這里value n)of 加名詞往往讓人聯(lián)想這名詞對應的形容詞 of value=valuable 有價值的
of small value 價值很小(= almost worthless)形容詞要放在不定代詞的后邊 something important something of importance someone patient someone of patience

LESSON 1 Excuse me對不起!教學目的:陳述句的結構
一般疑問句的結構
重點句型:Excuse me.Is this your handbag?
Thank you very much.重點知識:陳述句和一般疑問句的結構和轉化
陳述句(包括肯定的或否定的)用來敘述一項事實,讀降調,句末用句號。
一、肯定句變?yōu)榉穸ň?1 含be動詞或情態(tài)動詞的句子
秘訣:加,即直接在be動詞或者情態(tài)動詞的后面直接加not,其他的不變。
2.不含be動詞或情態(tài)動詞的句子,即只含行為動詞(或稱為實義動詞)的句子秘訣:一加二改一加:即在謂語動詞前加助動詞Do或Does;
二改:把謂語動詞改為原形(主語是第三人稱單數(shù)時,其他人稱時不變)加強記憶口訣:肯變否,can或be后加not
謂語若為行為動,動詞前加do not 或 does not
二、陳述句變?yōu)橐话阋蓡柧鋵δ骋磺闆r是不是事實提出質疑,或NO一般疑問句通常要用升調一般疑問句的結構: be助動詞/主語+其他成分+?1 含be動詞或情態(tài)動詞的句子
秘訣:一調二改三問號
一調:即把句中的be或情態(tài)動詞調到主語前;
二改:改換主語稱謂,如果句中的主語是I /my /mines/we/our/ours等第一人稱分別改為相應的第二人稱you/your/yours等;
三問號:句末的句號改為問號。如:
Eg1.I am an English teacher.→ Are you an English teacher?
Eg2.We can speak English fluently.→Can you speak English fluently?
2、含be動詞或情態(tài)動詞的句子,即只含行為動詞(或稱為實義動詞)的句子
秘訣:一加二改三問號
一加:即在句首加助動詞Do或Does;
二改:
1、把謂語動詞改為原形(主語是第三人稱單數(shù)時);
2、改換主語稱謂(如需要);
三問號:句末的句號改為問號。
Eg3.We read English every morning.→ Do you read English every morning?
Eg4.Tom’s father listens to English on the radio every evening.→
Does Tom’s father listen to English on the radio every evening?特別注意:對于行為動詞一定要注意動詞的還原,因為時態(tài)與數(shù)的變化已經(jīng)體現(xiàn)在助動詞上了加強記憶口訣:
“肯變疑,并不難,can 或be提在前;
