《新標準英語》第一冊第四模塊以描述事物顏色為主要內容。本節課是第四模塊的第二課時,主要學習描述事物顏色。

二、教學目標 1.知識目標

尊敬的各位同仁:

大家好!今天我要說課的內容是PEP人教版小學英語三年級上冊第四單元We Love Animals 的A部分 Let’s Learn與Let’s do,下面我將從以下幾個方面進行說明:

首先來說一說教材內容。

本節課的核心內容是六個小動物rabbit, dog, cat, panda, monkey, duck。本教材以一幅活潑可愛的小動物音樂會的圖片展示出來,圖片中六個小動物各拿樂器,邊走邊演。這樣的設計,一方面讓學生樂于接受,另一方面又體現了各學科之間的融和,把藝術知識融入英語教學之中,使學生在學習英語的同時接受藝術的熏陶,同時讓學生在和小動物相處的過程中,激發出熱愛動物、熱愛自然、保護環境的思想意識。圍繞這一核心內容,課本相應地設計了一個“TPR(全身心反應)”活動——讓學生模仿各種小動物的動作。這個活動節奏明快、動感強,學生樂于完成,所以說是一種很有效的鞏固生詞的方法。

再來說一說學生的情況。

本單元內容安排在教材的第四單元,經過前三個單元的學習,學生已積累了一定的語言知識,對于簡單的日常用語都已經會說,而且已經會唱幾首英語歌謠,所以說有進一步學習更多知識的愿望,這時學習同學們喜愛的動物的單詞就很容易提起興趣,且便于掌握。

接下來說一說教學目標。

首先是知識方面的目標:一是要使學生能聽、說、認讀本課時主要單詞rabbit, dog, cat, panda, monkey, duck。二是要引導學生能聽懂簡單的指示語,并按照指令做出相應的動作,如:act like a dog等。

其次是能力方面的目標:即要培養學生觀察、記憶的能力,從而提高他們聽、做、說、讀、寫的能力,同時增進身體各部分的協調能力,及語言綜合表達能力,這也正是新課標所提出的要求。

最后是情感方面的目標:本節課的目的主要在于培養學生樂于模仿、敢于開口、積極參與、主動請求的情感態度,使孩子們在完成學習任務的過程中感受成功,從而引發和培養他們學習英語的內在動機,最終使他們形成英語學習的積極態度。同時激發同學們熱愛動物,保護自然環境的思想意識,并讓孩子們在表演中培養合作意識和競爭意識。第四個方面要說一說這堂課的教學資源。

為實現教學目標,我充分發揮光盤播放的作用,選擇性地利用光盤中的“小動物音樂會”的情景以及“Let’s do”“Let’s chant”等三個部分來不斷調動孩子們的注意力,刺激他們的學習興趣。除此之外,在單詞教學中我還設計了多種方式進行鞏固,讓學生與學生之間,學生與老師之間能夠充分配合。

第五個方面是教學重、難點的分析。

本節課的重點在于讓同學們能聽、說、認讀六個有關動物的詞匯——rabbit, dog, cat, panda, monkey, duck。難點主要有以下兩個方面:一是 dog與duck的發音對比,(需要同學們仔細觀察老師的口型,跟讀模仿,個別矯正。)二是讓學生能將這六個有關動物的詞匯運用到簡單的英語句子中進行表達。

而本課突破重點和難點的關鍵是結合低年級學生喜歡游戲的特點,通過let’s do的快速反應,把單調的知識溶進生動的活動之中,讓孩子們在聽、做、動的過程中,潛移默化地掌握知識,并靈活地運用所學句型進行表達。

接下來我要說一說這節課所運用到的教學設計、學法指導和教學手段。

首先,在教法設計上,為了順利完成以上教學目標,更好地突出重點,突破難點,按照學生的認識規律,我采用了講讀、直觀演示、愉快教學相結合的方法,層層遞進,以保持孩子們強烈的好奇心和求知欲,進而促使他們由興趣發展到產生要學好它的志趣。

其次,在學法指導方面,鑒于本課詞匯的特點及學生現有知識水平,我選擇引導同學們通過聽、看、讀、想、說來逐步引導學生學會表達動物名稱,從而發展學生的語言思維和運用能力。同時,在整堂課的過程中貫穿多表揚、勤鼓勵的理念,使不同層次的學生都有學習積極性,在知識上均有所提高。

第三是在教學手段的選用方面,我知道,教學不是簡單的知識傳授。為了不使學生感到枯燥無味,我采用形象直觀的教學手段,使學生變苦學為樂學。在教學過程中啟發、誘導學生思維,培養不同層次的學生大膽用英語交際的能力。

最后來說一說我這節課的教學流程。

第一步是Warm up(熱身),走進教室,我首先讓學生進行日常口語訓練:教師先示范運用Good morning!/ Nice to meet you./Hello!I’m Miss Yang.What’s your name? / How are you? 等一些日常用語與學生進行交流,把學生帶進學習英語的氛圍中。

接著我播放歌曲Hello,讓同學們在吟唱中復習舊知識,同時活躍課堂氣氛,調動學生 的學習興趣。然后我一邊出示鉛筆一邊說:I have a pencil.引導學生也出示鉛筆,說:Me too.接著播放這部分的錄音,同學們邊說邊做,復習這一部分內容。這樣,既提高了對知識的再現率,又為學習新知識埋下伏筆,使課堂教學以輕松活潑的形式開始。

我的第二步是Presentation(新課展示)。首先,我用一句導語,Today is Zoom’s birthday.Look, Zoom is so happy.Many friends will come to Zoom’s birthday party.Who are they? Now, let’s go and have a look.來引出本課的主線,然后采用“總—分—總”模式展開,先利用光盤中Let’s learn部分“小動物音樂會”的場景,讓同學們整體感知要學習的六個單詞,然后再跟老師一起學習這六個單詞,并同步板書單詞,及時利用多種方式進行鞏固(在此過程中,我選擇采用指名讀,開火車讀,分組競賽讀,齊讀等多種方式)。然后運用句型“I have a ?”讓同學們操練單詞,讓他們在句中學詞,以句帶詞,詞不離句,這樣,就能達到在舊語言中學習新詞的目的,從而突破重點。另外,要強調dog和duck發音,這得要求同學們認真聽,仔細模仿,以突破難點。最后再利用板書進行快認快讀的競賽活動,調動同學們各方面官能的參與,從而促進各個教學目標的實現。在這堂課的整個過程中貫穿競賽的理念,對表現好的學生和小組進行鼓勵。

我的第三個步驟是Consolidation(鞏固)。眾所周知,“TPR”活動深受孩子們的喜愛,節奏和動作能刺激大腦皮層,激活記憶,使學生在對各指令的反應中自然習得語言。因此我充分利用光盤中“Let’s do”部分的TPR活動來鞏固生詞,增強趣味性。本部分是先讓同學們觀看大屏幕,解讀圖意,跟做動作,然后聽錄音,跟讀歌謠,這樣邊聽邊讀邊做,讓學生全身心參與到活動中來。

除此之外,將課前熱身歌曲Hello中的人名換成動物的名字,讓學生進行操練,在歌曲中鞏固所學單詞,在樂中學,在樂中加強,提高了學習效率,也活躍了課堂氣氛,有助于維持學生的興趣和注意力。

最后一個步驟是Summary and homework(小結和作業布置)。首先讓學生小結這節課學了什么知識,然后對表現出色的學生進行表彰,最后是布置作業以及提出下節課預習內容。

2、先鼓勵學生根據上下文猜測新單詞的意思,教師再進行教授。要求學生跟讀,然后在請個別學生進行朗讀,以便糾正學生的發音。重點要求學生能識別,理解單詞but,ring,loudly,并能書寫單詞say,hear。

3、再次播放錄音,要求學生邊聽邊在書上劃出帶有“ing”的詞語,如playing,ringing,singing等。幫助學生回顧“be+v-ing”的結構表示正在發生的事情。然后針對課文中的難點進行講解,也可以讓學生就自己理解有困難的地方進行提問。當然也可以請程度較好的學生進行講解。

4、重點講解but的用法。先請一位學生描述Daming正在做的事情,再請另一位同學來描述正在這時發生的動作。然后請一位同學來連接這兩個句子,提示學生使用“but”,讓學生能體會到but是表示轉折的。用這樣的方式,繼續引導學生描述書中的三幅圖,所發生的事情。

5、播放課文錄音,逐句停頓,請學生跟讀。

6、請學生兩人一組,完成SB第一單元活動2的練習。學生可以先聽錄音再進行模仿朗讀。

四、任務完成、完成SB第一單元活動3。先請學生看活動3中的圖片,然后教師請學生讀出左右兩邊兩欄的句子,最后引導學生嘗試搭配左右兩欄的短句。教師注意進行及時鼓勵和指導。

2、請學生回憶自己的類似經歷,然后用同樣的句式來表達。

五、課后作業、完成AB第一單元練習1和2。請學生看圖,然后按照課文順序進行排序,最后在練習2的提示下,為每幅圖寫一句簡單的說明。

一.熱身復習

教師在課前可以收集一些本班學生和老師在學校各項活動中的一寫照片或者是錄象資料,在開課時想學生進行展示。然后教師可以針對某個場景向學生進行提問。例如:“whatishe/shedoing?”,主要目的是引導學生回顧怎樣描述正在發生的事情。

二、任務呈現與課文導入

教師告訴學生:“今天我們要來做一個“猜一猜”的游戲。我會邀請一名同學到前面表演正做一件事時另一件事情同時發生了。其他同學根據他的表演來猜一猜到底發生了什么事情,并且英語描述出來。現在我們先來學習課本。”

三、課文教學、請學生看SB第二單元活動1中的圖,鼓勵學生按照活動1中的例句進行描述。提示學生可以使用“be+v-ing”的句型結構進行描述。如果學生單獨完成有困難,可以讓學生進行討論。教師進行現場指導。

2、然后請個別學生進行描述,等學生描述完,教師再播放錄音。要求學生仔細聽聽自己的理解是否與錄音中的一致。再次播放錄音,要求學生進行跟讀。強調“but”的使用,重點要求學生能識別單詞star,dinner以及書寫dinner。

四、任務完成、完成SB第二單元活動4。先請學生看活動4中的圖片,讓學生用現在進行時進行描述。然后提示學生畫出自己想進行的活動,然后在與同桌進行交流。交流的形式可以參照活動4中的例句。

2、完成游戲“猜一猜”。請一名同學到前面表演正做一件事時另一件事情同時發生了。其他同學根據他的表演來猜一猜到底發生了什么事情,并且英語描述出來。例如:一名同學表演吃飯的情景,然后去開。其他同學根據他的表演可以說出:Xiaomingiseating,butthedoorbellisringing.教師對學生的表演要進行及時鼓勵和評價。

五、課文學習

播放SB第二單元活動3詩歌的錄音。引導學生根據插圖來理解韻詩的大意。再次播放錄音,請學生邊聽邊跟讀,也可以請學生進行現場表演。然后鼓勵學生集體朗誦。

2、教師帶領學生完成AB第二單元練習2,引導學生感受韻詩中押韻的單詞。當然也可以請學生來談論一下自己的夢。

六、課后作業、請學生完成AB第二單元練習1、2、3。如果課堂上有時間,教師可以先引導學生就這幾個練習做一些口頭上的表達,以便學生進行可后完成。

2、AB第二單元練習4和5可以作為課后閱讀材料放手讓學生自己進行閱讀和練習。
