When it comes to China Dining Custom Table Manners.Do not worry ,I will show you````` Fristly ,everyone is supposed to let the guest and seniors eat every dishes frist.second,do not have to use the chopsticks to tap the tray and the bowl.Thirdly, let your hand reach the oppisite side ia not be supposed to , too.lastly ,we started the dinner when everyone is all here.Cheers for host's longevity, healthy, success and so on.Now,have you remembered ?

China has 5000 years history, People called China 'A country of polite'.Chinese people are always very friendly and kind, but what you should pay attention to is that Chinese people also has their own ways to get on with others. When you meet a Chinese, if you want to start a talking with him or her, you'd better ask like this;Have you eat your meal? But not like English people:What's the weather?' You can also shake hands with Chinese people when you first meet him. When you having a meal with Chinese people , the most important thing you should pay attention to is do not put the chopstickes into the bowl, because Chinese people don't think it's good.In China 8 and 6 are the most popular number, because they means earn money and lucky in China.China really has lots of polity cultures, They are waiting for you to find.

Dietary Changes and Health Care

As is shown in the graph, China's food distribution has taken great changes from 1960's to 1990's According to this statistics of cereals, vegetable, meat, and fruits, the number of those who eat rice, flour or vegetable has greatly decreased in the past four decades. In contrast of this the number of those who eat oil or meat has sharply increased. From such dietary changes, we can perceive the rapid improvement of our people' s living standard. Why does this improvement occur? The direct reason is the fact that the Chinese people have attached much importance to their health care.Nationally, China's economic growth is booming, and more people are getting richer.Individually, everyone's consumption of food is increasingly varied. In particular, most of people are reluctant to eat much vegetable, but much meat and oil in their diets. In my view, the changes of China's dietary distribution seem to be both positive and negative. The positive aspect is that China' s economical growth has given rise to the higher level of dietary standard, with most of people living rich and happy. But the negative aspect is that, I'm afraid, less eating vegetable will lead to poorer health, such as

lacking vitamin nutrients in one's body. Therefore, we think it necessary for the Chinese to be aware of the balanced diets: Lots of vegetable and meat, which may gain us healthier bodies in the new century.

China Dining Custom Table Manners

The main difference between Chinese and western eating habits is that unlike the West, where everyone has their own plate of food, in China the dishes are placed on the table and everybody shares. If you are being treated by a Chinese host, be prepared for a ton of food.Chinese are very proud of their culture of cuisine and will do their best to show their hospitality. And sometimes the Chinese host use their chopsticks to put food in your bowl or plate. This is a sign of politeness. The appropriate thing to do would be to eat the whatever-it-is and say how yummy it is.If you feel uncomfortable with this, you can just say a polite thank you and leave the food there.Eating No-no's

Don't stick your chopsticks up right in the rice bowl.Instead ,lay them on your dish. The reason for this is that when somebody dies, the shrine to them contains a bowl of sand or rice with two sticks of incense stuck upright in it.So if you stick your chopsticks in the rice bowl, it looks like this shrine and is equivalent to wishing death upon a person at the table!

Make sure the spout of the teapot is not facing anyone. It is impolite to set the teapot down where the spout is facing towards somebody. The spout should always be directed to where nobody is sitting, usually just outward from the table.Don't tap on your bowl with your chop

sticks.Beggars tap on their bowls, so this is not polite. Also, when the food is coming too slow in a

restarant , people will tap their bowls. If you are in someone's home, it is like insulting the cook.Drinking

Gan Bei!(Cheers!“Gan Bei” literally means “dry [the] glass”)Besides beer, the official Chinese alcoholic beverage is Bai Jiu,high-proof Chinese liquor made from assorted grains. There are varying degrees of Bai Jiu.The Beijing favorite is called Er Guo Tou, which is a whopping 56% alcohol.More expensive are Maotai and Wuliangye

C(應聘者):May I come in?(我能進來嗎?)

I(考官):Yes,please.Oh,you are Jin Li,aren’t you?(請進。

C:Yes,I am.(對,我是。)I:Please sit here,on the sofa.(請坐。)

C:Thank you.(謝謝。)

采用Excuse me.Is this personnel department?(請問,這里是人力資源部嗎?)或Excuse me for interrupting you.I'm here for an interview as requested.(不好意思打攪了,我是依約來應聘的。)

I:Your number and name,please.(請告知你的號碼和名字。)

C:My number is sixteen and my name is Zhixin Zhang.(我是16號,我叫張志新。)

How did you come? A very heavy traffic?(你怎么來的?

Yes,it was heavy but since I came here yesterday as a rehearsal,I figured out a direct bus line from my school to your company, and of course,I left my school very early so it doesn’t matter to me.(是的,很堵。

I:You are talking shop. How will you carry out marketing campaign if we hire you?(你很內行。

C:Sorry,sir.I beg your pardon.(對不起,能重復一下嗎?)

I:I mean that how will you design your work if we hire you?(我的意思是如果我們決定錄用你,你打算如何開展市場工作?)

C:Thank you, sir.I’ll organize trade fair and symposium, prepare all marketing materials, and arrange appointments for our company with its business partners.(謝謝。 I:Do you know anything about this company?(你對本公司的情況了解嗎?)

C:Yes,a little. As you ××mentioned just now, yours is an America-invested company. As far as I know,××Company is a world-famous company which produces cosmetics and skincare products.Your cosmetics and skincare products are very popular with women in all parts of the world.(是的,了解一點點。

在希望對方重復問題時,除了I beg your pardon. Would you please rephrase your sentence?

As far as I know(據我所知),表示你一直在認真聽對方的談話。 As it is shown in my resume(正如我的簡歷所提到的)

或As my previous experience shows(如我之前的工作經驗所示)之類的表達法。

Office etiquette are formal rules of behavior that make professional encounters pleasant and productive. While certain procedures may seem awkward or wasteful to you as you begin working in a new situation, resist the urge to make immediate changes.Discover how things are done and why.Observe how others answer the telephone, dress, decorate desks or office space, snack on the job, circulate memos, etc.Establish in your mind other people's priorities before asserting your own.Any changes you initiate will have more validity after you have familiarized yourself with the customary procedures.

Every Office has its own protocol for who is called by his or her first name and who is called by his or her title.New employees should follow suit, after listening carefully to how people are addressed.

Alien Registration Number(外僑登記號碼):簡稱“A”號碼(“A” Number)。

Dependent(家屬):需依靠另一人支持者。

Duration of Status(身份有效期):簡稱“D/S”。

Employment(就業):一個人參加掙工資的工作通稱就業。
