新概念二冊單詞、背誦和寫作學習總結

以下是我結合在蘇州新東方學校的授課經驗,對《新概念英語2》學習過程中在單詞、背誦和寫作三方面的一些方法的總結。供學員朋友參考。

一、單詞

生詞部分是《新概念英語》中比較重要的環節,很多同學在學習英語單詞時都會陷入一個“死記硬背”的怪圈,其實,大家在背誦英語單詞時,應該適當掌握一些英文單詞的構詞方法,這樣會更加有助于我們對單詞的理解和掌握。

因為英文詞匯中很多小詞是安格魯·撒克遜語,也就是英國人本土的詞匯,如look,food,cat,dog等等。但由于歷史的原因,英文中還有大量的詞匯是外來語,具體來說就是法語和拉丁語的詞英語化之后沉淀在英文之中的。它們在英文中占很大的比例,所以這些詞是可以依照一些構詞法的規律來掌握。

我們在學習一個單詞時,也應該去試著掌握這個詞的不同詞性,以及它的同義詞、反義詞等等。這樣一來,掌握了一個詞也就等于掌握了它的整個家族。

我們還應該注意一詞多義的現象,因此同一個詞在不同語境,不同背景下會有截然不同的意義,切不可望文生義。這一點的掌握,有助于提高我們的閱讀技巧,尤其是根據上下文猜測詞義的能力。

二、背誦

從第二冊開始,每課為一篇短文。這些短文語言優美精煉,自然地道,內容廣泛,因此背誦不失為學習《新概念英語》的好方法。俗話說:“熟讀唐詩三百首,不會寫詩也會吟。”當然,在課堂上如果暫時還沒有辦法快速的背誦課文,我會引導學生試著看中文翻譯來復述原文,為了加深學生對文章的印象,在課堂上可以組織學生進行對話練習,以小組為單位相互協作完成背誦。

所謂熟能生巧,大量的背誦積累可以培養一個學生的語感,實踐證明,一個大量背誦英語文章的學生,即使對句子不作語法分析,在解決單選、完形填空、短文改錯等題型時,準確率也是相當高的。

三、寫作

寫作是真正衡量一個人英語水平的標尺,所以它是一個長期訓練和積累的過程。《新概念英語2》整本書是從最簡單的簡單句寫起,一步一步引導你寫出較復雜的句子,再到不提供提示,獨立寫出句子和段落,循序漸進,從而可以為大家的英語寫作打下堅實的基礎。除了課堂上的練習,大家在課后可以試著去總結一些考試中的高分句型,比如倒裝句、強調句等,并且根據這些句型進行一些有針對性的練習,從而提高自己的英語寫作水平。
