一、教材分析
本套教材以話題為核心,以功能和結構為主線,以任務為目標,設計和編排了大量形式多樣、情景真實、語言自然、趣味性強的語言實踐活動。教科書每單元中的7個板塊主次分明,脈絡清晰,聯系緊密。本冊書共8個單元和2個綜合語言實踐活動。
Story time是課文或對話教學,通過情景對話,著重訓練學生的聽說技能,提高會話能力,同時呈現新的單詞、句型、功能和話題。Fun time是以圖為主,并安排了動手操作,更具有趣味性和互動性。Cartoon time 是課外閱讀的拓展環節,也滲透下一個單元的知識,既培養和鍛煉學生的閱讀能力也有單元間過渡的作用。Sound time 通過例詞和繞口令,引導學生了解字母在單詞中的讀音,簡單的拼讀規則和句子重度、連讀、節奏、語調等現象。Song/Rhyme time通過歌曲或者童謠進一步幫助學生鞏固所學的內容,培養聽說和思維能力。Checkout time是一個單元的自我檢測板塊,學生自己檢測是否靈活運用所學重點句型,查漏補缺。

三、學情分析
經過一年多的學習,大部分學生對英語產生了濃厚的興趣,掌握了一些句子的基本結構及部分輔音字母在單詞中的發音。在教學中,教師應設計豐富有趣的教學活動,杜絕枯燥乏味的講授,并結合課堂評價提高學生的學習興趣,讓每個孩子都能在學習中收獲喜悅,體驗成功。另外英語學習是一個系統工程,所以應加強預習作業和復習作業的檢查力度,建立孩子學習英語的成長檔案,注重過程。另外,在落實知識點的同時,也要培養學生的英語閱讀學習習慣及能力。
四、提高教學質量措施
1.認真備課,鉆研教材,進行課堂的有效教學,提高課堂效率,做到當堂內容當堂掌握。堅持“先學后教”的理念,抓好預習和作業,實行分層教學、分層作業,教師及時地進行檢查,讓每個學生得到不同層次的提高和發展。
2.創新運用各種不同英語教學法來輔助教學,如:情景教學法、直接教學法和TPR全身反應法,并開展一些有趣的活動、游戲讓學生在輕松的氛圍中學習英語。
3.創設英語情景和環境,使學生們在一定的英語語言環境里習得“第二語言”。做到“生活中有英語,英語中有生活”。
4.鼓勵學生大膽說英語,肯定他們的進步(尤其是英語基礎不好的學生),樹立學生的信心,培養學生朗讀和書寫的習慣。
