新中國成立，鋪就追夢的光明大道

1949年10月1日，這是一個永遠為中國人民紀念的日子，這一天，人民領袖毛澤東莊嚴宣布；“中華人民共和國，中央人民政府，今天成立了！”

新中國的成立，是中國歷史的偉大轉折。標志著一個空前統一的人民共和國誕生了，中華民族偉大復興的歷史新紀元開始了。新中國的成立證明，沒有共產黨就沒有新中國！中國共產黨開辟的道路是實現民族復興夢想唯一正確的道路。

土地改革運動，是中國共產黨領導著中國人民追尋民族復興夢想的重大歷程。“土地還家”，這個中國農民千百年的夢想終于實現了！轟轟烈烈的土地改革運動，使中國3億貧苦農民在政治上、經濟上翻了身，土地改革運動使我國農業生產得到了迅速的發展。接著，轟轟烈烈的社會主義建設拉開了帷幕。

新中國成立后，經過三年的經濟恢復，國民經濟有了根本好轉，工業生產超過歷史最高水平。為了計劃的進行社會主義建設，我國政府制訂了發展國民經濟的第一個五年計劃。第一個五年計劃，改變了工業落后的面貌，為社會主義工業化奠定了物質、技術基礎。中國人民在中國共產黨的領導下，向著實現民族復興夢闊步前進！以毛澤東為核心的黨中央第一代領導人集體高瞻遠矚，審時度勢，運籌帷幄，從國家前途‘民族命運的全局出發，果斷作出發展“兩彈一星”的重大戰略決策。為實現中華民族的強國夢想，勾畫出了一宏偉壯麗的藍圖。“兩彈一星”從構想變為現實，創造了非凡的人間奇跡，激勵幾代中國人不斷進取，在科技強國‘追求夢想的道路上奮勇前進！1971年10月25日，第26屆聯合國大會上，恢復了新中國在聯合國大會的合法席位。這又是一個具有重大歷史意義的事件，它印下了中華民族偉大復興島足跡！

On Earth Day, 175 world leaders met at the United Nations to sign the Paris Agreement, a historic pactto curb the carbon emissions behind climate change.Several speakers kicked off the ceremony by describing what's at stake, culminating with an urgent, cogent plea from new Academy Award-winner Leonardo DiCaprio.4月22日地球日當天，175位世界各國領導人齊聚聯合國簽署《巴黎協定》——一份抑制氣候變化背后的碳排放問題的歷史性條約。儀式開場，幾位主講人描述了危在旦夕的氣候狀況，奧斯卡新晉影帝萊昂納多·迪卡普里奧壓軸登場，向大家發出急切有力的呼吁。

reason for hope:希望的原因，希望的緣由，希望的曙光。非常好用的詞組，下次想表達“……有希望，因為……”時，就可以用這個詞組了。

cut greenhouse gas emissions:減少溫室氣體排放。文章中還有一個類似表達是上一段的“curb the carbon emissions”。在這里，cut和curb都表示“減少”，同類的詞還有reduce、lessen、decrease等。

fossil fuels:化石燃料，是指古代生物遺體在特定地質條件下形成的礦產，包括煤、石油、天然氣等。

“An upheaval, a massive change, is required right now,” he added.他補充道：“現在我們需要一次徹底的巨大的改變。”

upheaval:突變，劇變，up向上+heav=heave舉起+al狀態,性質→n.**,大變動，如：social upheaval 社會**。

massive：大的，重的，大塊的。同樣可以表達“大的”的近義詞還有huge、enormous、giant、vast、tremendous等。

mean nothing：很好用的一個短語，表示“沒有意義，枉然”，如：A name, as such, means nothing.姓名本身并無意義。再如：money means nothing to her.她視金錢如糞土。fail to do sth：未能做某事，不能做某事。小伙伴們下次想表達“不能”時，如果不能做的事不完全是能力差造成的，就可以拋棄“I can't”和“I am not able to”了，試試fail to吧。

你節約用水了嗎?

河南小學四年八班林芷萱

晚上，我躺在被窩里，忽然從衛生間里傳來“滴答，滴答”的聲音，我仔細一聽，原來是水滴們在談話。

一滴剛出來的小水滴傷心的對大家（水滴們）說：“哎呀！這水都溢出來了，我一會兒就溢出去的！我一定要讓你們這些水滴，不再給地球上的人類用了，他們太浪費水了！”說完便“滴答”一聲掉進了水里。我的心臟“咯嘚”的一下。“滴答”第二個水滴聽了第一個水滴的話邊落邊說說：“是啊！我這樣一生下來就要流到下水管里了，還沒來得及實現自己的價值呢！我非得告訴地球上所有的水，不在地球上生活了，不再讓人類浪費我們！”我聽了，嚇得都要哭了，連忙翻開被子，跳下床，跑到衛生間把水龍頭關上，拿出大盆子接那些溢出來的水。做完這些才放心地去睡了。

忽然，耳邊傳來爸爸的聲音：“起床了，起床了！”我睜眼一看，天都大亮了。原來剛才的事是一場夢啊！

雖然這是一場夢，但是卻讓我想到許多，現在有許多地方的人們不僅浪費水資源，還污染那純凈的水，使中國有大約百分之二十的純凈淡水被污染。前幾個月，我和爸爸看一條關于污染水的新聞時，我吃呆了：新聞上說，一個農村的一口井，被附近的工業公司的工業廢水給污染了，有好幾戶人家的豬、牛喝了這井里的水都死了，死豬、牛的數量不可計數。看！就是因為我們不愛惜水，把那么多平凡、無辜的生命殺害，把那么多的純凈水浪費掉。在那干旱的地方，有多少人渴望這純凈的水啊！人類再浪費水資源，有可能有一天地球上就真沒有這純潔、透亮的水了。

在此，我留給大家一句話：節約用水，讓水不再哭泣，讓它們綻放純潔的笑容。如果你浪費這晶瑩透亮的水，那么，你看到的最后一滴水便是你的眼淚！

霧霾

大家好，我是白家莊小學望京科技園校區五年級三班的洪睿萱。大家都發現了吧，北京霧霾天氣越來越嚴重，尤其是今年發生的范圍廣、時間長，人們擔心空氣中有毒紛紛戴上口罩或是圍巾把面部圍嚴，學校為了我們的健康把課間操也給停了。

霧霾是由于空氣中的灰塵、硫酸、硝酸、有機碳氫化合物等粒子使空氣渾濁與霧氣混合而形成。霧霾中的有害物質 會誘發哮喘、氣管炎、咽炎和一些過敏性疾病，并對健康人群造成氣道損傷，出現咳嗽痰多、咽喉疼痛等癥狀。由于我們壞的生活習慣造成了“環境的負荷”，例如：亂扔垃圾、使用塑料帶、使用一次性用具等，環境破壞容易，要想使它恢復原貌確是要需要很長的一段時間。經過這次罕見的霧霾天氣，也逐漸喚起了人們丟失已久的環保意識。為了我們地球媽媽的健康我們應當做到：減少開車次數，以最大限度減少空氣污染、不使用一次性物品、不亂丟垃圾、不踐踏草地，多植樹。為了地球媽媽我們應從我做起，從小做起，從身邊做起，從現在做起，我相信在我們大家的努力之下地球媽媽一定會越來越好的
