PETS 簡介

一、什么是PETS

全國英語等級考試（Public English Test System，簡稱PETS），是教育部考試中心設計并負責的全國性英語水平考試體系。作為中、英兩國政府的教育交流合作項目，在設計過程中它得到了英國專家的技術支持。級別劃分為PETS－1至5級。考試分筆試和口試兩部分，內容包括：聽力、語言知識、閱讀、寫作、口語。筆試和口試均合格者，由教育部考試中心頒發給《全國英語等級考試合格證書》。合格證書既可作為持有者英語能力水平的權威性證明；又可為各地各單位對其所用人才的英語水平提供一個公正、統一的評價尺度。

二、PETS簡史

第五篇：PETS題型

PETS分一到五級，針對PETS較常用的二級、三級考試來做分析。第一部分的聽力，二級題型注重的是交際功能，因此考生要熟悉口語會話和常用短語。聽力前五題是只放一遍的，后面的題目都是放2遍。如果題目沒聽懂沒關系，因為PETS考試的聽力題是印在試卷上的，因此可以通過看題目，根據題目的意思來推導。聽力中較難的部分是長對話，考生在復習時，之前2-3年的真題一定要多聽，熟悉考題難易程度。

第二部分是知識運用，這部分主要是考察語法和詞匯的運用。二級語法重點掌握時態、被動語態、交際功能等。三級就直接是完型填空的部分，基本考察一個是搭配問題，一個是選詞問題，有的是根據上下語氣來選詞的，有的是就是詞匯辨認的選擇。

第三部分閱讀，根據以往的經驗，二級考試中一般不會出現跨綱詞匯，文章內容接近生活化，偶爾會有一些科普類的文章。三級的文章相對就更加重了歷史性、科普性和人文介紹的內容。做閱讀理解時，可以先把文章通讀一遍，然后再看一下要回答的問題，帶著問題和備選答案再到文章里面尋找相關的信息，然后做出判斷，這樣做題目就比較快了。

第四部分是PETS考試里很重要的一點，寫作。PETS二級的寫作部分分為改錯和小作文。做改錯題時，先通讀一遍文章，了解人物、時間，確定時態。然后在改錯的時候，千萬不要根據一行內容來判斷，而是根據一個完整的句子內容來判斷對錯。PETS二級的寫作偏重書信、應用文，如歡迎詞、感謝信、通知（口頭或書面）和描繪性文體（如圖片作文），因此考生應了解各種應用文體的書寫格式。PETS三級寫作分為小作文和大作文，小作文主要也是應用文體，大作文的典型題型是圖表作文和議論文。寫圖表作文要掌握圖表寫作的概況，首先分析圖表內容，然后分析透過圖表反映出的現象或問題。另外還要掌握描繪各種圖表的典型詞匯，包括曲線圖、柱狀圖等等。如果考到了議論文，通常就是針對時事或熱點話題提出觀點。議論文寫作時，建議學生為了獲得高分或者穩定的分數，寫三段論，即第一段，提出觀點1，然后分析；第二段提出觀點2，再分析；第三段表明自己的態度和想法。如果有可能的話，在最后的時間里同學們可以找一些和熱點話題有關的素材、句子背一下，把最后時刻背誦的句子巧妙運用到考試作文寫作當中去。
