這三種都屬材料作文，特點是給出特定的書面材料，并準確地記述、描寫、轉達某一活動的內容或動機，從而達到書面語言交際的目的。體裁有記敘文、描寫文、說明文和應用文(英文書信、E-mail、感謝信)、日記、請假條、便條、講稿、啟事、電話留言條、賀卡、發言稿(值日報告)、介紹、通知、看圖寫話等。

近年的中考英語作文基本上是材料作文。這些題材與生活實際緊密聯系，并關注社會焦點、熱點問題，體現人文關懷。所設計的情景密切聯系現實生活，寫作題材源于生活，使學生有話可說，有利于寫出真情實感，也有利主動性、創造性地發揮。所以，學生在復習時要多關注社會焦點、熱點問題、人文關懷類題材。

打牢基礎，養成勤練習的好習慣

要想在有限的篇幅和時間內，使書面表達行文流暢，語言豐富、得體，就要按題目的需要和自己實際英文水平，揚長避短，選用最熟悉的最有把握的詞、句，注意時態、語態等多種句式的交替使用。

“最主要的是一定要平時打牢基礎，練好基本功，養成練習的好習慣;多研究中考書面表達的要求，重視技巧訓練;適時進行備考訓練。”

這些能力包括：在所學詞匯、語法和句型的基礎上寫出句意完整、語法準確的句子;能根據所提供的材料、信息、圖片、圖表及英文詞匯完成應用文、話題作文和看圖作文;切中題意，文理通順;上下文連貫，邏輯正確;要素完整，語言得當;格式正確;無拼寫錯誤及大小寫錯誤，書寫規范整潔，標點正確。

四步驟法輕松“拿下”書面表達 初三學生不妨一試，并按此法多多練習。

認真審題 包括文字說明、圖表、短文提供的資料和信息，以及參考詞匯、字數要求等，準確把握人物關系和故事情節，理解主題大意，審清文體，確定格式，確定人稱、主體時態。

列出要點 結合提示信息，把涉及的所有寫作要點逐條列出，編寫要點提綱，組織語言。如：1.開篇句：I think that...我認為......;It is often said that......人們經常這么說......2.連接句：Among all the given reasons, one should be mentioned.在所有理由中，有一個值得一提;The main reason why......is that......之所以......的主要原因是......3.結束句：一般情況下，記敘文和說明文采用自然結尾法;夾敘夾議和發表觀點類的文章則往往有結束語，首尾呼應。結尾的形式也因文章類別和開頭的風格而靈活多變。如：Taking into account all these factors, we may safely reach the conclusion that??考慮到所有這些因素，我們可以做出這樣的結論??另外，書信的結尾常有以下形式的祝福語：Best wishes;I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year等。

完成寫作 寫作時語言要純正地道，避免母語的影響;用多種表達方式，避免重復和呆板;使用熟悉的短語、句式，提高準確率。如：1.并列關系的過渡詞：and, as well as, not only...but also, neither...nor......both...and??2.轉折關系的過渡詞：but, yet, however??3.時間關系的過渡詞：first, second, third, and then, finally, after, before, after a few days, at last??4.空間關系的過渡詞：near(to), far(from), in the front of, beside, behind, beyond, above, below, to the right??5.比較關系的過渡詞：in the same way, just like, just as??6.對照關系的過渡詞：but, still, yet, however, on the other hand, in spite of??7.遞進關系的過渡詞：also, and, then, too, in addition??8.因果關系的過渡詞：because, since, then, so, therebefore??9.解釋說明的過渡詞：for example, in fact, in this case, for, actually......10.強調的過渡詞：in fact, in deed, necessarily, certainly, without any doubt, truly, most important……11.目的的過渡詞：for this reason, for this purpose……12.列舉的過渡詞：for example, such as……13.總結性的過渡詞：in conclusion, finally……

仔細檢查 查格式是否有誤;人稱、時態是否恰當;語法結構是否正確;注意英漢表達的差異;字母大小寫;字數是否合乎要求等。
