翻譯證書(shū)管用嗎？

現(xiàn)在國(guó)內(nèi)根本不缺少專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)八級(jí)或擁有各種等級(jí)口筆譯證書(shū)的“準(zhǔn)人才”，缺少的是能夠?qū)崙?zhàn)的外語(yǔ)人才，即需要懂工程技術(shù)語(yǔ)言的外語(yǔ)人才。試想，如果中外雙方工程技術(shù)人員用專(zhuān)業(yè)語(yǔ)言進(jìn)行交流，就是國(guó)內(nèi)知名外語(yǔ)大學(xué)的畢業(yè)生或海歸也未必能夠完全聽(tīng)懂中文，在這種情況下，你如何同別人進(jìn)行技術(shù)交流或勝任更高層次的翻譯工作。

我們經(jīng)常遇到很多前來(lái)面試的求職者，請(qǐng)他或她一坐下來(lái)，他們就會(huì)從包里拿出中英文簡(jiǎn)歷，這個(gè)證書(shū)或那個(gè)證書(shū)，諸如CET-4,、CET-

8、上海市高級(jí)口譯/高級(jí)筆譯證書(shū)，還有什么會(huì)計(jì)證、報(bào)關(guān)證等等。掃一眼他們的英文簡(jiǎn)歷，就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)，英文簡(jiǎn)歷中頓號(hào)、書(shū)名號(hào)（英文中有這兩個(gè)標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào)嗎？）都有，錯(cuò)別字，語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤一大堆，還需要什么證書(shū)來(lái)證明你的英文很好嗎？再說(shuō)，我們專(zhuān)業(yè)化的翻譯公司還需要你拿著這個(gè)證那個(gè)證來(lái)幫助我們判斷你的水平或能力嗎？你口語(yǔ)不錯(cuò)，那就跟你用英語(yǔ)交談一下吧。你說(shuō)你筆譯不錯(cuò)，那隨便找?guī)锥斡⑽幕蛑形慕o你翻譯一下看看。你一張嘴，一動(dòng)筆，我們就能知道你的水平或能力如何。還需要任何機(jī)構(gòu)頒發(fā)的證書(shū)來(lái)證明你有這個(gè)那個(gè)水平或能力嗎？你在我們面前展示的實(shí)際水平或能力不行，你就是拿著美國(guó)哈佛大學(xué)、斯坦福大學(xué)、麻省理工學(xué)院、加州伯克利分校、普林斯頓大學(xué)、耶魯大學(xué)等，英國(guó)牛津大學(xué)、劍橋大學(xué)等的畢業(yè)證書(shū)，拿著聯(lián)合國(guó)同傳證書(shū)，我們也不會(huì)錄用。

說(shuō)實(shí)話(huà)，我認(rèn)為只有那些不懂英文或翻譯，或者沒(méi)有能力鑒別應(yīng)聘者是否真正具有這方面能力的公司或面試者才會(huì)在意你是否能夠出示這個(gè)證書(shū)、那個(gè)證書(shū)。還有一種可能就是某個(gè)機(jī)構(gòu)很大，他們會(huì)有專(zhuān)門(mén)的人力資源專(zhuān)員或工作人員對(duì)應(yīng)聘者的簡(jiǎn)歷進(jìn)行初步篩選，然 后會(huì)有懂行的人進(jìn)行專(zhuān)業(yè)化的考核或面試。即便是這樣，如果你的實(shí)際能力不行或水平不夠，你擁有的證書(shū)或文憑只能有助于你進(jìn)入第二輪，如果真是這樣一種情況的話(huà)，那只能說(shuō)你浪費(fèi)的時(shí)間更多或投入的成本更高。

本人不反對(duì)你去獲得任何證書(shū)，但是關(guān)鍵是你的實(shí)際能力是否達(dá)到那個(gè)證書(shū)要求你達(dá)到的水平或者是滿(mǎn)足用人單位的實(shí)際需要。設(shè)想一下，一個(gè)單位招聘會(huì)計(jì)，你從來(lái)沒(méi)有在任何單位做過(guò)賬，你即使通過(guò)考試獲得過(guò)一張會(huì)計(jì)證，你覺(jué)得那個(gè)單位會(huì)聘用你嗎？除非這家公司是想把你作為一個(gè)儲(chǔ)備人才進(jìn)行培養(yǎng)。

本人讀MBA的時(shí)候，有一門(mén)課叫“現(xiàn)代財(cái)務(wù)管理”。給我們上這門(mén)課的那位老師是北京某個(gè)知名大學(xué)的財(cái)務(wù)會(huì)計(jì)方面的教授，結(jié)果我們所有同學(xué)對(duì)這門(mén)課都非常不滿(mǎn)意。他根本就沒(méi)有在任何企業(yè)或公司的實(shí)際經(jīng)驗(yàn)，只會(huì)照本宣科。當(dāng)然他在財(cái)務(wù)會(huì)計(jì)方面的英文還不錯(cuò)，我們倒是跟著學(xué)到了一些英文術(shù)語(yǔ)。有點(diǎn)可笑的是，我們班上有兩個(gè)當(dāng)時(shí)在大型國(guó)企工作的財(cái)務(wù)科長(zhǎng)，這豈不是外行給內(nèi)行做指導(dǎo)嗎？如果不是后來(lái)本人開(kāi)辦了公司，在實(shí)踐中了解和熟悉了一些財(cái)務(wù)知識(shí)，那本人在這一塊至今還是空白呢。也就是說(shuō)，只有通過(guò)實(shí)踐才能增加你的實(shí)際能力，也才能增加你的文憑或證書(shū)的含金量。

翻譯是一份辛苦的職業(yè)

現(xiàn)在的年輕人中，有很多人夢(mèng)想成為一名翻譯，希望有朝一日能夠成為一個(gè)在別人看來(lái)非常風(fēng)光的職業(yè)。其實(shí)，翻譯這個(gè)職業(yè)是非常辛苦的。無(wú)論是兼職翻譯還是專(zhuān)職翻譯，都會(huì)感覺(jué)這個(gè)職業(yè)的艱辛。

做過(guò)翻譯的，尤其是現(xiàn)在做兼職的口譯人員或選擇翻譯作為自由職業(yè)的口譯員都知道，為了翻譯好每一場(chǎng)會(huì)議，他們都要提前對(duì)會(huì)議 的內(nèi)容、洽談方雙方的文化背景進(jìn)行深入地了解。臨場(chǎng)翻譯時(shí)，要集中精力，容不得一點(diǎn)分心，還要隨時(shí)做好準(zhǔn)備，以應(yīng)對(duì)突然出現(xiàn)的特殊場(chǎng)面。在中外雙方宴請(qǐng)時(shí)，翻譯尤其會(huì)處于一種非常尷尬的局面。當(dāng)中方人員說(shuō)話(huà)時(shí)，你得認(rèn)真聽(tīng)著并隨時(shí)完成翻譯，當(dāng)外方人員說(shuō)話(huà)時(shí)，翻譯又要接著進(jìn)行翻譯，因此整個(gè)宴會(huì)下來(lái)，翻譯幾乎沒(méi)有吃到任何東西，等宴會(huì)結(jié)束時(shí)還餓著肚子。還有一種情況就是很多中國(guó)的企業(yè)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人或工程師，他們不了解翻譯的苦衷，發(fā)表自己的意見(jiàn)或回答外方的問(wèn)題時(shí)，長(zhǎng)篇大論，中間沒(méi)有任何停頓，只顧把自己的話(huà)說(shuō)完，翻譯根本記不住那么多。

而筆譯人員，要坐得住，耐得住寂寞，尤其是翻譯幾萬(wàn)字的專(zhuān)業(yè)稿件時(shí)，不僅要先廣泛查閱大量的相關(guān)專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)，而且要頻繁地查字典或上網(wǎng)搜索一些地名、公司名或?qū)I(yè)詞匯。遇到任務(wù)比較急的工作時(shí)，還要挑燈夜戰(zhàn)幾個(gè)通宵。一位翻譯網(wǎng)友稱(chēng)：“翻譯是一個(gè)很孤獨(dú)的職業(yè)。由于有時(shí)候客戶(hù)要求交稿的時(shí)間很緊，翻譯必須在客戶(hù)規(guī)定的時(shí)間內(nèi)完成稿件，那么只能挑燈夜戰(zhàn)，有時(shí)候甚至是連續(xù)通宵達(dá)旦的加班趕稿。客戶(hù)雖然對(duì)時(shí)間要求緊，但對(duì)質(zhì)量要求卻并不放松”。

因此，如果你是一個(gè)不能吃苦、耐不住寂寞、坐不住的人，在選擇這個(gè)職業(yè)之前，你就要三思而行。由于當(dāng)今的科技發(fā)展日新月異，網(wǎng)絡(luò)的飛速發(fā)展，新的詞匯和術(shù)語(yǔ)不斷涌現(xiàn)，要能夠在這個(gè)行業(yè)求生存、立住腳，你需要不斷地學(xué)習(xí)進(jìn)步。選定了這個(gè)職業(yè)，就意味著你將痛并快樂(lè)著。

第四篇：翻譯證書(shū)

現(xiàn)在市面上有三張證書(shū)：A，北外和聯(lián)合國(guó)同聲傳譯處聯(lián)合舉辦的，受訓(xùn)完畢派往聯(lián)合國(guó)工作。因?yàn)殡y度頗大，受訓(xùn)人員通常比較少。基本在北外校內(nèi)選拔，具有公務(wù)員性質(zhì) B，人事部的翻譯資格證書(shū)，全國(guó)通用，分為口譯和筆譯兩種。難度分別為3級(jí)，2級(jí)，1級(jí)。1級(jí)證書(shū)不公開(kāi)考試，也帶有某種內(nèi)部評(píng)定的性質(zhì)，且市面上只有3級(jí)和2級(jí)的學(xué)習(xí)資料。C，上海口譯資格證書(shū)考試。該證書(shū)在三張證書(shū)中最先推廣，比較好地適應(yīng)了中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展，在華東地區(qū)尤其是長(zhǎng)三角地區(qū)影響力最大。

考慮到杭州的情況和大學(xué)生畢業(yè)就業(yè)之需，提供參考觀點(diǎn)如下：

第一，北外的證書(shū)和人事部一級(jí)證書(shū)不需要去追逐，任何努力在可以預(yù)見(jiàn)的未來(lái)都是沒(méi)有結(jié)果的，因此這樣的努力也是不必要的。

第二，上海口譯證書(shū)考試和人事部證書(shū)考試的難度關(guān)系：上海中級(jí)口譯證書(shū)考試比人事部的3級(jí)證書(shū)簡(jiǎn)單些，上海高級(jí)口譯證書(shū)介于人事部的3級(jí)證書(shū)和2級(jí)證書(shū)之間。第三，考慮到絕大部分學(xué)員的英語(yǔ)能力，建議學(xué)員從上海的口譯證書(shū)開(kāi)始學(xué)起。一來(lái)起步不是太難，學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中不會(huì)太受打擊。二來(lái)只要將上海高級(jí)口譯證書(shū)考試拿下，那么通過(guò)自己的能力就可以較輕松地攻克人事部的2級(jí)證書(shū)。這樣并不等于說(shuō)上海口譯證書(shū)考試難度不大。根據(jù)我的主考經(jīng)驗(yàn)和以往數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì)，上海口譯證書(shū)考試(筆試+口試)總體通過(guò)率均不超過(guò)12%。筆試階段中級(jí)口譯的通過(guò)率大概為40%，高級(jí)口譯的通過(guò)率不到30%。但到了口試階段，通過(guò)率更加悲壯----約為30%。因此這張證書(shū)的含金量相當(dāng)?shù)母撸婕暗闹R(shí)面和信息量也相當(dāng)?shù)膹V，是就業(yè)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)中超越諸多英語(yǔ)證書(shū)的利器。

要想很好的攻克上海口譯證書(shū)，需要從如下幾點(diǎn)認(rèn)真做起：

第一，確定發(fā)展道路。如果考生有意向沖擊口譯或者翻譯能力，并且依靠該能力贏得競(jìng)爭(zhēng)優(yōu)勢(shì)，那么按照如下做法會(huì)比較省時(shí)，高效。中級(jí)口譯筆試—〉中級(jí)口譯口試—〉高級(jí)口譯—〉高級(jí)口譯口試---〉人事部2級(jí)。在這個(gè)過(guò)程中，需要注意幾點(diǎn)：A，高級(jí)口譯不能包括中級(jí)口譯。雖然當(dāng)年本人直接越過(guò)中級(jí)口譯獲得了高級(jí)口譯證書(shū)。但事后看來(lái)，中級(jí)口譯所涉及的東西是高級(jí)口譯不具備的。中級(jí)口譯涉及的面比較微觀實(shí)用，高級(jí)口譯涉及的面抽象玄乎。B，中級(jí)口譯筆試結(jié)束后只需要沖擊口試一次，不管通過(guò)與否都無(wú)所謂。需要立刻調(diào)整狀態(tài)沖擊高級(jí)口譯，而在高級(jí)口譯階段，則需要想盡任何辦法通過(guò)口試，此處沒(méi)有后退的余地。C,高級(jí)口譯通過(guò)之后，參看人事部的3級(jí)資料，同時(shí)不要松懈對(duì)高級(jí)口譯知識(shí)點(diǎn)的理解和鞏固。這個(gè)過(guò)程大概需要一年，有了這一年的鞏固，憑借高級(jí)口譯的證書(shū)和能力，市面上已經(jīng)鮮有競(jìng)爭(zhēng)對(duì)手，同時(shí)大小會(huì)議都能從容應(yīng)付。D，在經(jīng)過(guò)一年的鞏固和提高之后，可以沖擊人事部的2級(jí)證書(shū)，不管是筆譯證書(shū)還是口譯證書(shū)。這個(gè)時(shí)候不需要參加任何課程，自己可以比較輕松的攻克。因?yàn)榈搅诉@個(gè)階段，考生實(shí)際上已經(jīng)有了2級(jí)證書(shū)的能力，所缺乏的就是2級(jí)的證書(shū)。

第二，端正好態(tài)度。口譯證書(shū)考試是能力和實(shí)力的體現(xiàn)，沒(méi)有多少考試技巧可言。唯有扎實(shí)的功底方能助考生勝出。建議感興趣的學(xué)員首先要好好鞏固詞匯。鑒于口譯沒(méi)有專(zhuān)門(mén)的詞匯，學(xué)員只要能將六級(jí)詞匯好好掌握，那么問(wèn)題就不大了。通常為了中級(jí)口譯順利過(guò)關(guān)，需要將六級(jí)詞匯掌握至少5遍。為了沖擊高級(jí)口譯，需要將六級(jí)詞匯掌握20遍以上。口譯考試不同于四六級(jí)以及考研。后者有很多的消極詞匯(passive vocabulary),即只要在考試時(shí)

認(rèn)得，不需要主動(dòng)記憶和運(yùn)用。前者需要考生記住的任何一個(gè)單詞都能為你隨心所欲的使用，因此對(duì)于詞匯要相當(dāng)?shù)氖炀殹?/p>

第三，針對(duì)上海口譯證書(shū)考試，學(xué)員可以參考如下學(xué)習(xí)方法：重視四本書(shū)：聽(tīng)力，口譯，筆譯，閱讀理解。

1，口語(yǔ)書(shū)的內(nèi)容可以自己參看，對(duì)于考試沒(méi)有多大的幫助。

2，聽(tīng)力在筆試時(shí)占到90分，分值相當(dāng)大，不容忽視;并且聽(tīng)力部分的兩個(gè)聽(tīng)譯段落中有一個(gè)段落出自聽(tīng)力教材。在鍛煉聽(tīng)力的時(shí)候希望能夠做到如下幾點(diǎn)：A，如果聽(tīng)不懂，那么參看后面的script,這樣再聽(tīng)時(shí)則會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)原來(lái)聽(tīng)不懂的東西就可以聽(tīng)懂了，并且聽(tīng)不懂的地方就是你的問(wèn)題所在。這樣一本書(shū)聽(tīng)下來(lái)，可以糾正很多的錯(cuò)誤，做到真正的提高。B，建議在聽(tīng)的時(shí)候準(zhǔn)備一“材”多用，首先將它視為聽(tīng)力教材，在完成這個(gè)目的之后，好好的研究?jī)?nèi)容。它是一套不錯(cuò)的口語(yǔ)教材。當(dāng)然要做到這一點(diǎn)，必須在閱讀的時(shí)候從中英兩個(gè)方面來(lái)考慮，即，看著英文思考中文的意思。這樣一本書(shū)下來(lái)，不但積累了口語(yǔ)表達(dá)信息，也鍛煉了“譯”的能力。

3，重視口譯與筆譯的原因也很簡(jiǎn)單。第一，分值。不管是中級(jí)還是高級(jí)，譯的成份都占到100分。其次，在口譯筆試中，尤其是高級(jí)口譯比試中，由于閱讀理解量大題難，大部分人在規(guī)定的時(shí)間內(nèi)都看不完，做題時(shí)更不用說(shuō)正確率了。所以這一塊的唯一解決方法就是想辦法爭(zhēng)取時(shí)間。這部分時(shí)間唯有從翻譯那里擠出來(lái)。如果一開(kāi)始就重視翻譯和口譯，那么理想的話(huà)可以為閱讀理解多爭(zhēng)取一倍的時(shí)間。第二，在筆試完后大概一個(gè)月的樣子就可以知道是否有資格參加口試。如果到那個(gè)時(shí)候再準(zhǔn)備，那么已經(jīng)晚了。所以建議在筆試開(kāi)始的時(shí)候就應(yīng)該看完筆譯，口譯的第一遍。在口試前的一個(gè)月內(nèi)再將這兩本書(shū)看完兩遍。第一遍看著文章推測(cè)譯文，第二遍看著譯文推測(cè)原文。第三遍和第一遍一樣。這樣三遍下來(lái)便可盡收考試要點(diǎn)，做到無(wú)招勝有招。當(dāng)然不是背下來(lái)，因?yàn)樗性囶}都是似曾相識(shí)，但又不是出自書(shū)本。

4，閱讀理解是大部分人比較忽視的一塊。但是由于口譯這個(gè)東西融入了太多的中國(guó)成份，那么久而久之，口譯學(xué)習(xí)者的語(yǔ)言感覺(jué)會(huì)被毒害。因此仔細(xì)閱讀《閱讀理解》這本書(shū)有助于定期解毒。同時(shí)閱讀理解提供的信息很多，值得收集。在閱讀這本書(shū)的時(shí)候不應(yīng)太快，按照自己的速度慢慢看。不要把它看作閱讀理解題目來(lái)做。重在欣賞和積累英語(yǔ)人士的優(yōu)美、地道表達(dá)。

至于口試部分，其實(shí)沒(méi)有多少好擔(dān)心的。出現(xiàn)一個(gè)考場(chǎng)16個(gè)考生不過(guò)的情況本來(lái)可以避免。關(guān)鍵是考生在筆試的時(shí)候就有投機(jī)的成份，沒(méi)有真正提高自己的英語(yǔ)能力。并且在口譯的時(shí)候有了太多無(wú)謂的心理壓力。通常能夠通過(guò)第一階段的考生沒(méi)有理由通不過(guò)第二階段。主要是自己嚇?biāo)雷约海⑶野堰^(guò)多的精力放到了口語(yǔ)表達(dá)上面。要想很好的處理這個(gè)問(wèn)題，需要考生在第一階段時(shí)就端正態(tài)度，不要將口譯考試當(dāng)作一門(mén)有很多考試技巧的考試，而是要扎扎實(shí)實(shí)提高自己的英語(yǔ)能力。否則即使第一階段能夠通過(guò)，在第二階段也要栽跟頭。其次，平時(shí)練習(xí)口譯時(shí)要注意“筆記”和“聽(tīng)”的比例。最好的狀態(tài)是將70%的精力放在聽(tīng)上，30%的精力放在隨意筆記上。保證筆記的速度和磁帶朗讀速度一致，即篩選最重要的中心詞記錄。

第四，個(gè)人認(rèn)為口譯人人能做，不分專(zhuān)業(yè)和天賦。關(guān)鍵看功夫能不能花到家。在這個(gè)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)越發(fā)激烈的社會(huì)上，和翻譯相關(guān)的行業(yè)依然保持了比較高的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力和工資水平;同時(shí)翻譯不是一個(gè)狹隘的概念，只要具備了高級(jí)口譯的扎實(shí)能力，那么任何考試輕松拿下;因此是值得有志青年努力追求。雖然在諸多的比試和選擇中，我們可能在某些環(huán)節(jié)處于劣勢(shì)，但是扎扎實(shí)實(shí)的高級(jí)口譯能力必將還你一個(gè)“英雄不問(wèn)出處”。
