第三篇：名詞單復數

一、名詞

名詞可以分為可數名詞與不可數名詞，其中可數名詞具有單、復數的形式；而不可數名詞沒有復數形式。

1.從單數 復數，變形規則如下：

1．一般情況下，直接加-s，如：book-books, bag-bags, cat-cats, bed-beds 2．以s.x.sh.ch結尾，加-es，如：bus-buses, box-boxes, watch-watches 3．以“輔音字母+y”結尾，變y為i, 再加-es，如：family-families（家庭）, strawberry-strawberries（草莓）

4．以“f或fe”結尾，變f或fe為v, 再加-es，如：knife-knives 5．不規則名詞復數： man-men, woman-women, policeman（男警察）-policemen, policewoman（女警察）-policewomen, mouse-mice child（孩子）-children foot-feet,.tooth-teeth fish-fish, sheep（羊）-sheep people-people, Chinese-Chinese, Japanese-Japanese,當people后加上s時即peoples表示“民族”例如：There are 56 peoples in China.中國有56個民族。2.以下詞為常為不可數名詞，他們的復數形式就是他們本身。

名詞的復數形式與動詞第三人稱單數形式的區別

這段時間，在講解第三人稱單數形式時，我常常跟學生提到，這段時間，在講解第三人稱單數形式時，我常常跟學生提到，第三人稱單數 形式的變化規律一般跟復數一般變化規律相似，基本情況下加-s.但是一次課堂上我問到，動詞以-ch結尾時，它的第三人稱單數是什么，不少同學回答是加-es我又讓他們舉個例子，有學生給我舉了：peaches，我突然間覺得，教學中有失誤，學生將名詞的復數形式和動詞的第三人稱單數形式混淆了。既然提到，就有必要跟學生講清楚，幫助他們做一個比較。

首先，我幫助他們理解了兩種不同的詞性。為什么叫復數？顯然是不只一個。什么東西可以一個一個地數呢？物品類。物品通常指名詞，所以，我告訴學生：復數是屬于名詞的。而動詞第三人稱單數形式，顧名思義是屬于動詞的。什么是動詞，就是有動態的意思的，包括外在變化和心里變化的。明白了他們各自 的所屬性，再對這兩種變化規律作一個比較。名詞復數形式和動詞第三人稱單數形式性質上截然不同，但它們在構成方式上有異也有同。試比較如下：

一、構成方式的相同點

1.兩者一般在詞尾加-s 清輔音后讀作，濁輔音和元音后讀作[z]。如：名詞復數：bed(beds), tree(trees)，動詞第三稱單數：help(helps), play(plays)

2.兩者以 s ,x ,ch ,sh 結尾的詞，在詞尾加-es,原詞尾已有 e，一般只加-s 都讀作[iz] [iz]。

如：名詞復數：box(boxes), orange(oranges)動詞第三人稱單數：wash(washes), close(closes)

3.以輔音字母加-y 結尾的詞，先變 y 為 i，再加-es，讀作[iz]。如：名詞復數：factory(factories), baby(babies)

動詞第三人稱單數：fly(flies), study(studies)

二、構成方式的不同點

1.名詞方面

（1）有些名詞的單、復數形式相同。

如：sheep(sheep), Chinese(Chinese)

（2）有些名詞的復數形式是特殊的，不規則的。

如：man(men),child(children)

（3）以 o 結尾的名詞，有的加 s，也有的加 es。

如：radio(radios), photo(photos),tomato(tomatoes)（4）以 fe 結尾的先變 f(e)為 v，再加 es。

如：knife(knives),leaf(leaves)2.第三人稱單數形式方面
