【知識梳理】
賓語從句是名詞性從句的一種,在句子中起賓語的作用。在主從復(fù)合句 中作及物動詞的賓語,或介詞的賓語,或形容詞的賓語。
一、賓語從句的引導(dǎo)詞
1.如果賓語從句為陳述句,常用that引導(dǎo)。that本身無實際意義,也不在賓語從句中充當任何成分,因此常可省略。如:
He said(that)he had been to the Great Wall twice.他說他去過長城兩次了。
2.如果賓語從句是由一般疑問句轉(zhuǎn)化來的,應(yīng)用if或whether引導(dǎo)。if,whether在句中不充當任何成分,但有一定的意義,意為“是否”,不可省略。
例句: I want to know if(whether)he lives there.(從句是一般疑問句)
我想知道他是否住在這里。
例句: Let me know whether you can come or not.(從句是選擇疑問句)
讓我知道你是否能夠到達。
例句: Please tell me when the plane will leave.(從句是特殊疑問句)
請告訴我飛機什么時候起飛。
【注意】 只能用 whether 不能用 if 的情況。(1)在動詞不定式之前只能用 whether。
例句:I can’t decide whether to stay.我不能決定是否留下。
(2)whether 后可直接接 or not,而 if 不可以。
例句:I want to know whether or not it’s good news.我想知道是否是好消息。
(3)在介詞后,只能用 whether。
例句:His father is worried about whether he will lose his work.他的父親擔(dān)心是否會失去工作。(4)用 if 會引起歧義時,只用 whether。注意:Could you tell me if you know the answer? 這句話有兩種意思:“你能告訴我是否知道答案嗎?”或“如果你知道答案,可以告訴我嗎?” 如用 whether 可避免歧義。
3.如果賓語從句是由特殊疑問句轉(zhuǎn)化來的,應(yīng)用連接代詞who, whose, what, which等或連接副詞when, where, why, how等引導(dǎo)。如:
Can you tell me when the meeting will begin? 你能告訴我會議什么時候開始嗎?

【解答】答案:A。根據(jù) We’re not sure if 可知,if 在動詞后面,它引導(dǎo)的是賓語從句,表示“是否”。當主句是 一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài)或含情態(tài)動詞的句子,賓語從句應(yīng)該根據(jù)需要選用任何時態(tài)。此句由 tomorrow 可知,用一般將來時態(tài),排除 CD;又根據(jù) If it,we won’t go hiking 可知,if 引導(dǎo)的是條件狀語從句,當主句是一般將來時態(tài),從句應(yīng)該用一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài)表將來,我們稱 這一現(xiàn)象為“主將從現(xiàn)”,排除 B,故選 A。
3.—Which dress do you like best,Madam?
—Sorry,I can’t decide___________ now. A.to buy which one B.buy which one C.which one to buy D.which I should buy it 【解答】答案 C。在有些動詞的后面,需要wh-詞+不定式來作賓語,比如:Let me show you how to use the machine.本題中的 decide 有時后面就要wh-詞+不定式作賓語;另外根據(jù)“Which dress do you like best”可知不能決定買哪一套,故選 C。
二、賓語從句的語序 無論主句是什么語序,賓語從句除了引導(dǎo)詞放在從句的句首外,還要注意賓語從句要用陳述語序,即“主語+謂語+……”。但是,當連接代詞本身在賓語從句中充當主語時,則要保持原來的語序,即“連接代詞+謂語”。如:
The teacher asked me why I was late this morning.老師問我今天早晨為什么遲到了。I don’t know who is the richest of them.(who在賓語從句中作主語)我不知道他們中誰最富有。
★陳述句變?yōu)橘e語從句時,要注意人稱和時態(tài)的變化,語序不變。例句: She said, “I will leave a message for you.”
= She said she would leave a message for you.她說她將給我留一個信息。★一般疑問句和特殊疑問句變?yōu)橘e語從句時,也要注意人稱和時態(tài)的變化,后接陳述語序。例句:“Where are the students?” I asked Emma.= I asked Emma where the students were.我問艾瑪學(xué)生在哪里。Can you tell me? + What can I do for you? =Can you tell me what I can do for you? 你能告訴我我可以為你做什么嗎? C.what could she D.whether could she 【解答】答案為 B。賓語從句只能使用陳述語序,故排除 CD 選項,根據(jù)空格前的謂語動詞 asked 可知后面應(yīng)該是一個問句,故排除 A,根據(jù)句意應(yīng)是如何通過 QQ 接收紅包,故選 B。

D.has noticed 【解答】答案:C。根據(jù) She said that 可知 She said that 后面是跟一個賓語從句,賓語從句的時態(tài)應(yīng)該和主句保持一致,主句用的是一般過去時態(tài),從句應(yīng)該用相應(yīng)的過去時態(tài)。根 據(jù)句意:她說她“注意”到我在長凳上的包里有我的名片,應(yīng)用一般過去時,“注意”這個動作 應(yīng)該用過去式,故選:C。
3.—Is there anything else you want to know about China? —Yes,I am still wondering___________________.(濠江)A.how is the Chinese paper cut made B.why the Chinese people like to play the dragon dance(舞龍)
C.how was the Great Wall built in ancient time D.why do the Chinese people eat rice dumplings at Dragon Boat Festival 【解答】答案:B。根據(jù) I am still wondering,可知本句考查了賓語從句的用法。在賓語從句中所使用的語序應(yīng)該是陳述句語序,選項 ACD 是疑問句語序,排除掉。選項 B用的是陳述句語序,符合賓語從句的要求,故選 B。
三、賓語從句的時態(tài)一致性
在復(fù)合句中,賓語從句中的謂語動詞時態(tài)在一定程度上受到主句中謂語動詞時態(tài)的制約,這種現(xiàn)象稱為前后時態(tài)的一致性。賓語從句的謂語動詞時態(tài)有以下幾種情況:
1.主句中的謂語動詞是一般現(xiàn)在時,從句根據(jù)實際情況可用各種時態(tài)。如:
Do you know who he was talking with at eight last Sunday? 你知道上周日八點他正在和誰談話嗎?
2.主句的謂語動詞用一般過去時,從句中的謂語動詞也應(yīng)用過去的某種時態(tài)。如: The teacher wanted to know if her students had finished their homework.這位老師想知道她的學(xué)生是否已完成了家庭作業(yè)。
3.當賓語從句是客觀真理或規(guī)律時,其時態(tài)不受主句時態(tài)影響,仍用一般現(xiàn)在時。如: She said the sun rises in the east.她說太陽從東方升起。
四、否定前移
在think(認為), believe(相信), suppose(設(shè)想), expect(期待)等動詞之后的賓語從句中,如果從句中的謂語動詞表示否定,則其否定式要前移,即將主句謂語動詞think, believe, suppose, expect等變?yōu)榉穸ㄐ问健H纾?/p>
I don’t think you are right.我認為你不對。[注意] 如果賓語從句后面有賓語補足語,要使用形式賓語it,將從句放在賓語補足語之后。如:I thought it strange that she didn’t come.我認為她沒來很奇怪。

C.who you talked about [解析] A。本題考查賓語從句的用法。由答句“我說那本書在我們學(xué)校賣得好”可推出上句句意為“我沒有聽見你說的話”。what you said意為“你所說的話”。所以選A。

B.where were the restrooms C.where the restrooms are
D.where the restrooms were [解析] C。本題考查賓語從句的用法。賓語從句的語序應(yīng)是陳述語序,排除A、B。Could you please??是表示有禮貌請求的句型,could不是一般過去式,由答語“They’re over there.”可知時態(tài)為一般現(xiàn)在時,所以選C。

一,所謂賓語從句就是句子的賓語一般由名詞、代詞、動名詞或動詞不定式充當,當一個句子充當賓語時,我們把這個句子叫做賓語從句。
賓語從句的三要點:
1、引導(dǎo)詞
2、從句語序
3、從句的時態(tài)
二、賓語從句的連接詞或引導(dǎo)詞
1.連詞that,只起連接作用,在從句中不作句子成分,也無詞匯意義,在口語中常被省略。eg.I am afraid(that)you are right.2.連詞if、whether,它們起連接作用,在從句中不作句子成分,作“是否”解,在口語中多用if。
eg.Tom don't know if/whether his grandpa liked the present.He asked me whether or not I was coming.一般情況下,if 和whether可以互換,但以下3種情況只能用whether:
①在不定式前:Whether to go there or not hasn't been decided.②在介詞前:It depends on(依靠)whether it is going to rain.③與or not連用:They are talking about whether to go there or not.④賓語從句放在句首表示強調(diào)時,只能用whether。
Whether they can finish the work on time is still a problem.3.連接代詞who, whom, whose, what, which,連接副詞when, where, why, how,它們起連接作用,作句子成分,各有自己的意義。eg.1.He asked ______________________________.(誰能回答這個問題)

三、賓語從句的語序
賓語從句的語序是陳述語序,即“連接詞+主語+謂語+其它成分”。特別強調(diào):它的主語和謂語的語序是陳述語序,而不是疑問句的倒裝結(jié)構(gòu)。
Can you tell me who(m)do we have to see?(╳)
Can you tell me who(m)we have to see?(√)
The teacher asked the students what they were doing.(思考: what在從句中的成分)
陳述句變?yōu)橘e語從句時,要注意人稱和時態(tài)的變化,語序不變。eg.She said, “I will leave a message on the desk.” → She said she would leave a message on the desk.四、賓語從句的時態(tài)呼應(yīng)
賓語從句中謂語動詞的時態(tài),常常受到主句謂語時態(tài)的制約,此為時態(tài)呼應(yīng)。如果主句謂語是一般現(xiàn)在時或?qū)頃r,從句謂語的時態(tài)不受限制;如果主句謂語的時態(tài)是一般過去時,從句一般要隨著改為相應(yīng)的過去時態(tài)(一般過去時、過去進行時、過去將來時、過去完成時)。
eg.I thought(that)you are free today.(╳)
I thought(that)you would be free today.(√)
【注意】當賓語從句敘述的是客觀真理時,不管主句謂語的時態(tài)如何,從句都用一般現(xiàn)在時。
eg.The teacher told us(that)the earth moves around the sun.五。其他需要說明的問題
1.標點由主句決定,如主句是陳述句、祈使句,則用句號;是疑問句則用問號。
eg.I heard she had been to the Great Wall.Can you tell me which bus I should take?
2、賓語從句的特殊情形
在“Do you think /believe/suppose----?等”結(jié)構(gòu)中,賓語從句如果是由疑問詞引導(dǎo)的,則要用“疑問詞+ do you think/believe/suppose +正常語序?”
如:What has happened to him? Do you think? What do you think has happened to him?
3.賓語從句的否定形式
在think, believe等動詞后面的賓語從句,如果從句的謂語動詞表示否定意義,一般要將否定詞not移到主句的謂語動詞上面去,即通過否定主句的謂語動詞來否定從句的(意義)謂語動詞。此時變反意疑問句時仍將賓語從句視為否定,反意疑問部分用肯定形式。如:
1、I don't think he will come.2、I don't think he will come, will he?
3、I think he will come, won't he?
4.句式的轉(zhuǎn)變
1、當主句的謂語動詞是hope, decide, wish, agree等,其后接賓語從句,并且從句主語與主句主語一致時,可以簡化成動詞不定式結(jié)構(gòu)。
如:Wei Hua hopes that she will be back soon.Wei Hua hopes to be back soon.2、當know, learn, remember, forget等動詞其后接賓語從句,并且從句主語與主句主語一致時,可以簡化成“疑問詞+不定式”結(jié)構(gòu)。
如:I don't know what I should say.I don't know what to say.3、當tell,learn,show,teach等動詞其后接賓語從句,并且從句主語與主句的間接賓語一致時,可以簡化成“疑問詞+不定式”結(jié)構(gòu)。
如:Could you tell me how I can get there?(句子中的 me 和I指的是同一個人)可以改寫為:Could you tell me how to get there?

一、賓語從句的定義:
賓語從句顧名思義就是作(及物動詞、介詞或某些形容詞)賓語的部分是由句子來充當。因此把這樣的句子(含有從句)叫做復(fù)句。引導(dǎo)賓語從句的引導(dǎo)詞分為三類即: 表示陳述語氣用that , 表示一般疑問語氣,含有“是否,能否”的意思whether 和if 引導(dǎo).表示特殊疑問語氣由特殊疑問詞導(dǎo).賓語從句可做動詞賓語,介詞賓語,及某些形容詞的賓語.例如:
1、He wrote me a letter, saying that he would pay a visit to China next week.(動賓)
2、I wonder if you could spare me a few minutes?
(動賓)
3、The teacher is quite satisfied with what you have done.(介賓)
4、Mother was very pleased that her daughter had passed the exams.(形賓)
二、過好“三關(guān)”學(xué)習(xí)賓語從句:
(一)、過引導(dǎo)詞關(guān)
1、連詞that(在口語中that常可省略),if, whether,如: He knows that Jim will work hard.連接代詞who, whom, which等,如:
Do you know who(whom)they are waiting for? 連接副詞when, where, how, why等,如:
Could you tell me how we can get to the station?
2、由that引導(dǎo)的賓語從句,如: I don’t know(that)Tom was late again I am afraid(that)it would rain soon 注意1:引導(dǎo)賓語從句的that 常可以省略,但下列情況下不能省略。(1)、and連接兩個或兩個以上的賓語從句,除第一個從句中的that以外,后面從句中的that不能省略。如:Everybody could see what happened and that Tom was frightened.(2)、that引導(dǎo)的賓語從句作介詞賓語時,that不能省略。如: I know nothing about him except that he is from the south.(3)、主句謂語動詞與that從句之間有插入語,that不可省略。如:We decided, considering his age, that we would not let him do the job.注意2:若有補語,則賓語從句要放到補語之后,在賓補前用形式賓語it.如: He doesn’t want it to be known that he is going away.I consider it necessary that he should do it again.注意3: 否定轉(zhuǎn)移.在think, believe, suppose, expect 等動詞后的賓語從句,從句中的否定往往在主句中體現(xiàn)。如: I don’t think you are right.I don’t believe that they have finished their work.I don’t think he cares, does he?
3、由whether 或if 引導(dǎo)的賓語從句: whether和if都有“是否”的意思。如:
I don’t know whether / if he will agree with me.He asked me whether / if I have finished my homework.注意1:在動詞不定式之前只能用whether 如: I can’t decide whether to stay.注意2:在whether ?? or not 的固定搭配中 如:I want to know whether it’s good news or not.注意3:在介詞后,只能用whether 如:His father is worried about whether he lose his work.注意4:條件狀語從句不能用whether引導(dǎo),如:
Please inform him of the news if he comes back before 10 o’clock.4、由特殊疑問詞(wh?)引導(dǎo)(要注意用陳述語氣)如:He asked me,“Where is Mr Wang?”---He asked me where Mr Wang was.(二)、過語序關(guān)
做賓語從句的句子不管原來是什么語序,在充當賓語從句時都要用陳述語序,即:“引導(dǎo)詞+主語+謂語+賓語+其他”。
如:
1、Tom said.He is reading a book.→ Tom said that he was reading a book.2、He asks me.Are they playing a game? → He asks me if/whether they are playing a game.3、Where is the hospital?
He told me.→ He told me Where the Hospital was.注意:當who在從句中做主語時,語序本身就是“主語+謂語”順序,所以就不再變了.如:I want to know.Who will come tomorrow?
→I want to know whowill come tomorrow.(三)、過時態(tài)關(guān)
賓語從句的時態(tài)要受到主句時態(tài)的限制,即要和主句的時態(tài)保持一致(也有特殊情況),賓語從句的時態(tài)往往被忽視,希望能引起我們的注意。從下面三個方面去把握賓語從句的時態(tài)。
1、當主句的時態(tài)是一般現(xiàn)在時、一般將來時、祈使句時,從句的時態(tài)可根據(jù)句意的需要用任意一種時態(tài)。
2、當主句的時態(tài)為一般過去時賓語從句的時態(tài)要與原句相對應(yīng)的過去的時態(tài)(帶“過去”兩個字)。
3、當賓語從句敘述的是客觀事實、真理、自然現(xiàn)象、名言警句、諺語等,不管主句是什么時態(tài),從句一律用一般現(xiàn)在時。
三、賓語從句的特殊語序問題
在“Do you think /believe/suppose----?等”結(jié)構(gòu)中,賓語從句如果是由疑問詞引導(dǎo)的,則要用“疑問詞+ do you think/believe/suppose +正常語序?”
如:What has happened to him? Do you think?
What do you think has happened to him?
四、否定轉(zhuǎn)移問題
在think, believe等動詞后面的賓語從句,如果從句的謂語動詞表示否定意義,一般要將否定詞not移到主句的謂語動詞上面去,即通過否定主句的謂語動詞來否定從句的(意義)謂語動詞。此時變反意疑問句時仍將賓語從句視為否定,反意疑問部分用肯定形式。如:
1、I don’t think he will come.2、I don’t think he will come, will he?
3、I think he will come, won’t he?
五、賓語從句的簡化
1、當主句的謂語動詞是hope, decide, wish, agree等,其后接賓語從句,并且從句主語與主句主語一致時,可以簡化成動詞不定式結(jié)構(gòu)。如:Wei Hua hopes that she will be back soon.Wei Hua hopes to be back soon.2、當know, learn, remember, forget等動詞其后接賓語從句,并且從句主語與主句主語一致時,可以簡化成“疑問詞+不定式”結(jié)構(gòu)。
如:I don’t know what I should say.I don’t know what to say.3、當tell,learn,show,teach等動詞其后接賓語從句,并且從句主語與主句的間接賓語一致時,可以簡化成“疑問詞+不定式”結(jié)構(gòu)。
如:Could you tell me how I can get there?(句子中的 me 和I指的是同一個人)可以改寫為:Could you tell me how to get there?
4、動詞后的賓語從句,也可以用不定式來簡化,但主語要發(fā)生變化。

一、不同引導(dǎo)詞引導(dǎo)的賓語從句
(一)、由從屬連詞that引導(dǎo)的賓語從句。
注:陳述句用that引導(dǎo)。that只有語法作用,沒有實在的意義,在口語和非正式文體中可以省略。例如:
·He said(that)he wanted to stay at home.·She doesn’t know(that)she is seriously ill.·I am sure(that)he will succeed
(二)、由從屬連詞whether, if 引導(dǎo)的賓語從句。If和whether在句中的意思是“是否”。例如:
1.Does he live there? I want to know.I want to know if(whether)he lives there.2.Is it going to rain? I don’t know.I don’t know whether it is going to rain or not.注意:只能用whether不能用if的四種情況,if在賓從和狀從的用法。
(三)、例如:由連接代詞what, whom, whose, which, what及連接副詞 when, where, how, why引導(dǎo)的賓語從句

賓語從句的語序應(yīng)為陳述句的語序。例如:
How can I get to the zoo? Can you tell me? 此句情態(tài)動詞can在主語 I 之前 Can you tell me how I can get to the zoo? 此句情態(tài)動詞can在主語 I 之后
三、時態(tài)歸納:
1、當主句的謂語動詞是一般現(xiàn)在時或一般將來時,賓語從句的謂語動詞可以用所需要的 任何一種時態(tài)。e.g.★I think(that)you are right.★Can you tell me how I can get to the railway station?

考點一:考查賓語從句的引導(dǎo)詞
引導(dǎo)賓語從句的關(guān)聯(lián)詞主要有:that,if ,whether,what,who,which,how,where,when,why等.
對引導(dǎo)詞的選擇要注意三點:
1.陳述句變?yōu)橘e語從句時,引導(dǎo)詞用that,口語中that常省略,無實義;
2.一般疑問句變?yōu)橘e語從句時,引導(dǎo)詞用if或whether,意為“是否”(注意:當和or not連用時必須用whether);3.特殊疑問句變?yōu)橘e語從句時,用特殊疑問詞作引導(dǎo)詞,其意義要以特殊疑問詞本身的含義來確定.
