一、教學目標
在本節課結束時,學生將能夠:
知識和能力:
(一)會準確讀出并在口語交際中正確運用12個月份和序數詞(1st-31st)表達日期。
(二)正確使用介詞in /on表達日期的用法。
(三)理解名詞所有格的基本用法:’s,并能準確讀出alice’s, father’s。
(四)靈活使用when引導的特殊疑問句詢問日期進行交際。
過程與方法:
采用歌曲導入,自主學習、小組合作探究、classifying, contrasting和role-playing的學習策略。利用教學圖片、幻燈片、實物(大掛歷、日歷)或制作課件等來展開課堂教學、pair work問答式的口語交際活動,進行“詢問和談論日期”的課堂教學和練習。
情感態度與價值觀:
通過互相詢問生日的日期,增進同學之間的了解和友情并學會在英語交流中注意他人的情感。

一、教材分析
本單元的主題是“談論自己所喜歡的學科”,主要是學習學科的表達、表示品質的形容詞、一周中星期一到星期天的表達方式。本課圍繞“談論自己所喜歡的學科”這一話題,展開形式多樣的聽、說、讀、寫學習活動。主要掌握各種學科的表達和用英語談論自己喜歡的學科。
二、教學目標 1.語言知識目標:
1)詞匯:favorite, subject, P.E.science, music, math, Chinese, geography, history, why, because, Monday, Friday, Saturday
2)掌握以下句型:
—What's your favorite subject? —My favorite subject is science.2.能力目標:學會用英語談論自己喜歡的學科,提高學生的聽說讀寫能力。3.情感目標:教育學生學好每一門功課,做全面發展的好學生。三.教學重難點: 1.教學重點:

初一學生處在一個轉型期,他們從小學只學習簡單的英語單詞到現在的既要接觸常用的單詞,還要初步去了解并掌握一些簡單的語法,因而激發學生的興趣,成為課堂上必不可少的一個環節。一味的讓學生在課堂上背誦單詞、句型、勢必導致課堂教學枯燥,課堂氣氛壓抑,常此下去,學生就會厭惡英語。為了避免這一現象,現代化教學手段──運用電腦制作課件已成為當今的熱門手段,逼真的動畫,美妙的音樂,變化多樣的字音、字型,使學生產生了濃厚的興趣,由苦學到樂學。五.教法
1.教法
(1)本單元話題源自生活,立足這一點,充分利用學生已有的知識和經驗,創設生活化的真實(或半真實情景)引導學生在運用語言中學習語言,然后在學習新的語言知識后創造性地運用語言(為用而學,在用中學,學了用)。
(2)開展多種類型任務活動,提供給學生合作交流的空間和時間,促使學生為完成任務和同學進行合作,為完成任務進行探究學習。
2、學習策略:
(1)通過Discussing, Classifying and Guessing等形式多樣的活動,促使學生運用認知策略進行有效地學習。
(2)在與同學合作完成任務的活動中主動探究和學習語言;并運用知識內在規律幫助記憶、鞏固知識。
