1、《華南虎》創作背景:這首詩作于1973年6月,正是“十年**”期間。詩人牛漢正在湖北咸寧文化部干校勞動改造(“文革”中,被關入“牛棚”,從事強制性勞動)。一次,他去桂林,在動物園里見到了一只趾爪破碎、鮮血淋漓的被囚禁的老虎。這只老虎的形象強烈地觸動了詩人的情思,回到干校后,他就寫下了這首《華南虎》。
2、這首詩具有濃厚的象征意義。華南虎及“鐵籠”分別象征什么?“觀眾”代表什么? 所謂象征,就是通過某一特定的具體形象間接地表現與之相似或相近的概念、思想和感情。華南虎象征不屈的生命、執著的靈魂。“鐵籠”禁錮自由、代表邪惡。“觀眾”是冷漠、市儈,有時還會助紂為虐的群體的寫照。詩人以華南虎作為象征,表現的是自己在困境中不屈的人格和對自由的渴望。
3、華南虎的心靈為什么會感覺“屈辱”?
感到“屈辱”有兩層含義:淺層意思是為自己的尊嚴被踐踏、自由被剝奪而感到“屈辱”;深層意思是為生活在這個自由被剝奪、人格被侮辱的世界而感到“屈辱”。

我剛剛寫下“從猿到人”的題目,門便被敲響了。

我揉揉眼睛,再細看,沒錯,一個毛茸茸的猿人齜牙咧嘴地站在我對面。猿人拍了拍我的肩膀,我張開的嘴才合攏歸位,忙拉出一把椅子說:“請坐、請坐。”猿人也不客氣,一抬腿蹦上椅子。“老祖宗駕到,有失遠迎,不知您是為何事而來?”猿人說:“看到你寫的從猿到人的文章,覺得你犯了個邏輯性的大錯誤,特趕來糾證,以免貽害后人。糾正一下,我不是你的老祖宗,恰恰相反,你是我的老祖宗。” 我啞然失笑:“這怎么可能呢?您生活在50萬年以前,我們現代人就是經過這漫長的進化過程而延續下來的。”

人類的起源
當一個嬰兒會咿呀說話的時候,他常會問:“媽媽,我是從哪?”媽媽會說:“你是從媽我驚出了一身冷汗。
媽肚子里來的。”“那媽媽你是從哪里來的?”“外婆那里來的。”“外婆又從哪里來的?”“——?“是的,我們從哪里來的呢?
相傳大約在2300萬年至1800萬年前。在熱帶雨林地區和廣闊的草原上,有一種古代靈長類動物——森林古猿活躍在那里,它們是人類最早的祖先。后來森林古猿不斷分化和遷移,逐漸分化為羅摩猿和森林猿。
后來有人類學家在肯尼亞的特南堡上,找到了一種古猿化石,據說是臘瑪古猿的化石,臘瑪古猿生活在距今約1400萬年到800萬年之間,臘瑪古猿在人類祖先演化的歷史中具有很重要的地位,是人類從猿類中分化出來的第一階,恩格斯稱他們為“正在形成的人”。
相傳人類學家于1924年發現南方古猿的化石,地點是在南非金伯利亞以北,相傳距今有500萬年之久。它們還分為粗壯型和纖細型兩種,一般認為:粗壯型是南方古猿發展中已經絕滅的旁支,而纖細型則是人類的祖先。然而1901年,荷蘭籍醫生杜布阿在爪哇梭羅河邊發現了一種已,滅絕了的生物的遺骨化石,它具有人和猿的兩重生活構造特征。杜布阿把它命名為“直立猿人”認為這是從猿到人的過渡階段的中間環節之一。這一發現和命名立即在全世界引起了一場關于人類起源的熱烈爭論,這場爭論直到1929年12月發現了北京猿人才宣布結束。后來我國科學家將同一進化程度的人類化石統稱為猿人。猿人是從猿到人的過渡階段的中間環節之一。
而成村在30萬年至5萬年內的智人則是我們的現代人類的祖先,據說智人有早期智人和晚期智人之分,早期智人又稱為古人,晚期智人又稱為新人。
從猿人開始,他們已懂得用火,并懂得用火將食物煮熟了吃。用一些石制的簡單的工具,用來獵取和戰斗。在漫長的歷史歲月里,勞動創造了人,而物擇天競,弱肉強食和適者生存定律又使人類不斷進化和優化。
