3.Have you ever been at sea in a dense fog, when it seemed as if a tangible white darkness shut you in, and the great ship, tense and anxious, groped her way toward the shore with plummet and sounding-line, and you waited with beating heart for something to happen? 4.I felt approaching footsteps, I stretched out my hand as I supposed to my mother.Some one took it, and I was caught up and held close in the arms of her who had come to reveal all things to me, and, more than all things else, to love me.我感到有人走近,于是伸出了手,以為是把手伸向母親。不知是誰抓住了我的手,把我拉了過去,緊緊地摟在她的懷里。就是她教我認識了世界上的各種事物,而且不僅如此,她還非常愛我。

我要交流的是英語(新標準)初中八年級下冊Module4 New technology的內容,我從六個方面展開:教材內容分析、學情分析、教學目標、重點難點、教材處理、教學設計。
一 教材內容分析
本模塊以新的科技產品為話題,把焦點放在對科技產品的如何使用上,話題貼近學生生活,學生對科技工藝產品的介紹比較感興趣,比較容易開展活動。教學中應結合學生實際情況,靈活調整教學內容(或增加,或刪除,或前后調整),合理設置課時。適當進行拓展,以豐富學生知識,拓展學生視野,進行理想、人生規劃的教育。
二 學情分析
七年級(下)Module10已經學習過對電腦相關情況的介紹,本單元可以在七年級此模塊的基礎上引進科技產品的說明這個話題,這是學生很熟悉也是較感興趣的話題。在教師預設的任務中,引導學生在交際中動態生成,學生有話可說,樂于合作分享。這樣就有利于他們更好的運用課本知識,達到提高綜合運用語言能力的目的。
三 教學目標
1語言知識目標:我列出本模塊相應的這些詞組、短語和句型;本模塊的語法是“If從句+祈使句”的句子;功能介紹手機、照相機、電話等科技用品;話題以學生為中心,以介紹手機、數碼相機、電話等科技用品為話題。

聽:懂有關學習介紹的簡短對話,提高學生實際應用能力。說:能利用if 句型介紹產品的使用說明;流利地說出本模塊的生詞、短語。讀:能閱讀包含if句型的有關使用說明的簡單文章。進行簡單的閱讀技能訓練。

四、重點和難點1 教學重點

Step 1 Brainstorming:
從本單元的題目new technology 入手,利用學生已有的認知水平進行頭腦風暴,并引入新單詞(video, video, recorder etc)主要為下一步教學做好準備。
Step 2Which suggestion do you give?通過簡單問答,從聽開始介入if的從句,讓學生有一個比較的直觀的認識。引入new words(press, button, copy, memory, turn on, play recorder).通過model訓練學生的發散性思維.Step 3Lead –in: instructions of computer
Computer屬于new technology,溫故知新,對本單元能過起到過渡的作用。
Step 4 Presentation
實物的教具非常直觀,它具有可操作性,可以在教里直接進行演示,可以引入相應的instructions,另外,并不是每個學校的每個班級都有多媒體,使用實物教具可以取得事半功倍的效果。
Step5 Listen and read在常規聽力練習中進一步提高學生聽的能力,充足的輸入,更有利于學生進行目標語言的輸出。如果可能的話,把不同的按鍵涂成相應的顏色,讓學生更好的理解課文。Step6 Answer the question 學生可以根據問題的回答充分的熟悉課文,通過學生的個別回答,可以提高學生的口頭表達能力和語言的組織能力,這是語言的有效輸出。
Step7Reading and speaking讓學生聽磁帶,增強他們的語感,培養學生良好的語音,語調。還要培養學生良好的朗讀習慣(默讀、集體朗讀、個別朗讀)。還可以培養學生的表演能力。Step 8To be a salesman使用 mobile phone 是Unit 2 的相關環節,學習它,能夠起到承上啟下的作用。Step 9 Homework 適當的抄寫和閱讀是必需的,作文在課堂里已經進行過討論,所以大部分學生有能力掌握,他們并不會感到困難。To be a good salesman,跟學生的生活實際相結合。第二課時:Vocabulary and readingStep1 check the homework
這部分既是check the homework,同時也是Unit 2 第一部分的內容。如果學生在課前預習過該部分內容,那完全可以利用好這個環節,節減上課的時間,提高上課的效率,教與學雙贏。
Step2Lead-in利用學生生活身邊可能發生的事情,比如狗咬人的,如果該狗是狂犬病,他們應該如何處理?加強學生對突發事情的反應和處理的能力。
Step 3 Making up a story 可以充分地發揮學生的想象力,自主學習和合作學習相結合。這些圖片跟課文有密切的聯系,學生熟悉他們。對理解課文有很大的幫助。讓學生對具體的文章內容不 覺得陌生。

Read the passage and answer thequestions.根據故事的時間、人物、地點、起因、經過、結果等進行提問,讓同學們掌握相應的閱讀技巧和策略。2 Read the passage again, choose the best answer.加大問題的難度,進一步地理解課文,加強學生的推理和歸納能力。3 Retell the story in English.學生根據圖片Key words或進行復述,可以降低難度,故事的復述更具有流暢性,針對性和目的性。通過復述,學生能夠熟悉課文,鍛煉學生的口語表達能力,考慮到學生的個別差異性比較大,水平參差不齊,適當的話可以參考課文,充分展示他們的成果,這是有效的語言輸出。4 Expand“學以致用”是我們的學習目的。學生要學會處理生活中的突發事件,具有應變的能力,并采取妥善的措施。學生要學會如何的保護自己和他人,遇事要保持冷靜的頭腦。

要多閱讀課文,聯系學生生活實際,引導學生關注生活環境, 用中學。第三課時:Language in use 1-7
Step 1 Investigate whatyour response is.多說 if 的句型,熟練生巧。提高學生說的能力。

下個單元講的是If 條件狀語從句的主從句的時態,這里講的起到鋪墊的作用。
Step 3 write instructions
要學生多寫,落實好“雙基”。
Step 4 Group competition
以小組競賽方式進行歸納和小結,易于啟發學生的學習。能夠很好復習和鞏固課文,讓學生沒有重復感。
Step 8 Homework要學生知道新的技術給我們帶來了什么好處,科學技術是第一生產力。同時為第五課時的辯論賽作好準備。學生的學習也要反饋,做到查漏補缺。
第四課時: Writing, speaking, around the world, Module task
Step 1Listen and repeat
進一步進行聽力的訓練,增加學生的語感。Step2 Writing要培養學生良好的寫作習慣。有些學生很怕寫作,因為他們覺得太難,要消除學生對寫作的恐懼感,應該由易到難,層層深入,循序漸進,培養他們的寫作興趣,能夠取得事半功倍的效果。
Step 3 Work in groups
把學生分成四組,每兩組的學生具有不同的任務,讓學生進行小組討論,充分的交流與合作,讓每位同學都知道如何去寫。能夠資源共享,在課堂上完成寫作,單位時間里提高了教學和學習的效益。
Step 4 Around the world
Step 5 Homework學生的學習要及時的反饋,新的技術有他好的一面,也有壞的一面,學生要客觀地分析問題,不能夠一刀切。同時為第五課時的辯論賽作好準備。學生的學習也要反饋,做到查漏補缺。
第五課時:Self-assessment, ExercisesStep1 Sharing the story
讓學生充分分享他們自己在課外收集起來的資料,滿足學生表現的欲望,加強同學們之間的感情交流。
Step 2 Making a debate
辯論賽的形式能激起學生的學習熱情。因為在前面對這個話題有所準備,相信學生能夠做的好。
Step 3 Additional exercisesStep 4Self-assessment 自我反饋、自我評價、自我改進是非常必要。這是學生自主學習的重要體現。
Step 5Homework在課內,通過“詞――句――篇”的層層推進,優秀生已初步完成了單元的核心任務,學困生也在小組活動、全班活動中獲取了不少幫助,為他們能順利完成單元任務打好了基礎。在設計中,教師以課內任務的不同達成度為基點,布置其他不同層次的作業,使之在不同基礎上都獲得發展。
