Some of the contestants have achieved their dreams as Redstone;still others are on the way to their dream.With a passion to win, you will overcome obstacles and succeed at the end.I’m studying in a city that’s famous for its walls.people who visit my city are amazed at the imposing sight of its walls, especially when silhouetted against the setting sun with gold, shining streaks.The old, cracked bricks are covered with lichens and the walls are weather-beaten guards standing still for centuries.Our ancestors liked to build walls.They built walls in Beijing, Xi’an, Nanjing and many other cities, and they built the Great Wall, which snakes across half our country.They built walls to protect against enemies and evil spirits.This tradition has survived to this day: we still have many parks and schools walled off from the public.For a long time, walls were one of the most natural things in the world to me.My perceptions, however, changed after I made a hiking trip to the eastern suburbs of my city.My classmates and I were walking with some foreign students.As we walked out of the city, we found ourselves flanked by tall trees, which formed a wide canopy above our heads.Suddenly one foreign student asked me, “Where is the entrance to the eastern suburbs?”

“We’re already in the eastern suburbs,” I replied.He seemed taken aback, “I thought you Chinese had walls for everything.” His remark set off a heated debate.At one point, he likened our walled cities to “jails”, while I insisted that the eastern suburbs were one of the many places in China that had no walls.That debate had no winners, but I did learn a lot from this student.For instance, he told me that some major universities like Oxford and Cambridge were not surrounded by walls.I have to admit that we do have many walls in China, and as we develop our country, we must look carefully at them and decide whether they are physical or intangible.We will keep some walls but tear down those that impede our development.Let me give another example.A year ago, when I was working on a term paper, I needed a book on business law and found a copy in the law school library.However, the librarian coldly rejected my request to borrow it, saying, “You can’t borrow this book, you’re not a student here.” In the end, I had to spend 200 yuan to buy a copy.Meanwhile, the copy in the law school gathered dust on the shelf.At the beginning of this semester, I heard that my university had started to think of unifying its libraries and linking them to libraries at other universities, so my experience wouldn’t be repeated.Barriers would be replaced by bridges.An inter-library loan system would give us access to books from any library.With globalization and China integrated into the world, I believe many of these intangible walls will be knocked down.I know that globalization is a controversial issue, and it is hard to say whether it is good or bad.But one thing is for sure: it draws our attention to China’s tangible and intangible walls and forces us to examine their role in the modern world.And how about the ancient walls of mine and other cities? 記得幾年前，在一部《激情燃燒的歲月》中，石光榮以他激情燃燒的革命生涯，再一次開啟了無數人心中封存已久的激情！兩年后，一個“富有激情的干部”——牛玉儒，再一次用燃燒的激情感動了內蒙古草原，感動了中國。是的，在嚴酷的戰爭年代，需要激情；在火熱的建設年代，需要激情。而今天，在激流奔涌的改革時代，加快加快發展的偉大

事業中，同樣需要激情。當前，彭山的發展，正處于艱難爬坡、負重前行的關鍵時刻，正處于快則進、慢則退的十字路口，要度過難關，止滑回升，要實現“保增長、保民生、保穩定”等各項既定目標，我們必須要擁有強大而充滿激情的執行力。

有人會說，執行力就是一絲不茍的把自己的本職工作干好，不須要什么激情。但我要說，你錯了。這里，我想起一個故事：有兩個年青人正在建筑工地上勞動，有人就問：“你們在做什么呢？”一個人答道：“我在砌磚”；而另一個人驕傲地告訴他：“我，在建一座宮殿。”，同樣是砌磚，兩個人的工作心態卻是截然不同的。第一個人把砌磚當成目標，工作自然索然無味，若干年后他仍就是個砌磚工；而第二個人，心中懷揣建造宮殿的激情，若干年后，他已成為法國赫赫有名的建筑大師。

當前，我們正處于一個激情燃燒的時代，改革的壯舉、發展的機遇，每時每刻都在為激情之士提供大展身手的舞臺。我們這里所說的激情，不是頭腦發熱、盲目蠻干，而是在科學發展觀指導下的主動作為；不是一時的感情沖動、虎頭蛇尾，而是可持續發展中的堅韌不拔；更不是個人生活的浪漫多情，而是對事業的執著追求。90年代，國家還不允許私營企業進入汽車制造行業，但有一個年輕人卻冒著萬貫家產打水漂的危險，憑著對汽車產業的熱愛，自己動手拆解、研究汽車結構，開始了獨立研究轎車制造。在一次中央領導視察地方時，他鼓足勇氣說：能不能給我一個失敗的機會！這個冒著巨大風險進行激情創業的年輕人就是現在的吉利集團董事長李書福。給我一個失敗的機會！這句響亮的話給我們留下很多值得思考的東西。是啊，成功女神并不垂青所有的人，但只要我們充滿激情，參與、嘗試，即使沒有成功，我們同樣會感受到過程中的快樂！

古之成大事者,不惟有超世之才,亦有堅忍不拔之志！主宰世界的是你，放棄世界的仍然是你，只要我們充滿激情，只要我們有強大的執行力，我們就一定會成功，一定會做得更好！

信念讓人充滿激情

在每個人的心靈深處都珍藏著一份信念鼓勵你走向成功。因為只有了信念，才能拔起擎天的巨木，才能升騰冷漠的生命，才能裸露許多靈魂，以及在長長的黑夜襲來時也有耐心期待天光。

美國紐約歷史上的第一位黑人州長；羅杰羅爾斯就是憑著一個信念而成功的，羅杰羅爾斯出生在紐約聲名狼藉的大沙頭貧民窟，在那兒出生的孩子，長大以后很少有人獲得較體面的職業，在他上小學時，他的校長皮爾保羅鼓勵他說：你將來是紐約州的州長，羅爾斯聽了這話，相信了它，并且，從那天起，紐約州長就像一面旗幟，在以后的40多年間，他沒有一天不按州長的身份要求自己，51歲那年，他真得成了紐約州長，羅杰羅爾斯就是憑著終有一天能當上州長的信念使自己走向了成功。

在我上學讀書的時候起，看見老師站在講臺上給我們講課，就開始覺得教師這一職業多么的令人向往，將來我要是能當一名教師那該多好啊。在高考畢業后，由于種種原因，我走進了師范學院，曾一度后悔過，可后來，還是讓我走上了這神圣的講臺，我難得的機會啊！

當我走向神圣的講臺，看著臺下孩子們一雙雙求知的眼睛，我不由自主的產生了要當一名優秀教師的信念。在這個信念的支持下，我如饑似渴的學習，以滿足一名優秀教師所需要的知識功底和教育教學功底。為了適應新世紀的教育要求，我刻苦學習了計算機，現已能較為熟練的運用多種軟件，并能制作一些簡單的課件，在下雨天氣時，體育課就用多媒體進行教學。在課改來臨的今天，我又多次參加新的課標培訓，接受新的教育理念，并用新的教育理念來指導我現實的教育教學工作，希望使自己能走在新課改的前列。

要想成為一名優秀的教師不僅要有較強的業務素質，更重要的是要有顆愛心。作為老師，在學校的身份是多重的，既是知識的引導者，又是學生的朋友，更要像慈愛的父親那樣去關心他們，因為在他們幼小的心里母愛是一縷陽光，讓他的心靈即使在寒冷的冬天也能感到春天般的溫暖，讓他們的靈魂即使遇到電閃雷鳴依然仁厚寬廣。在他們生病的時候，我會毫不猶豫的騎上車送他們去看醫生。對待同學的錯誤時，我往往最先考慮的也是學生的自尊，以學生最能接受的方式來進行處理，對他們動之以情，曉之以理，讓他們改正錯誤，走向成功。在我這顆愛心的澆灌下，終于得到了同學們的認可，在全校組織的最滿意教師的評比活動中，全班64名學生都對我投上了最滿意的一票。這使我倍感欣慰。

太陽總在有信念的地方升起，月亮也總在有信念的地方朦朧，信念是永恒的微笑，使你的心靈永遠充滿激情，使你的雙眼永遠清澈明亮。教師就像一顆星，沒有太陽那樣熱烈，沒有月亮那樣溫柔，沒有朝霞那樣眩目，沒有白云那樣高遠，但從來無怨無悔，與世無爭，總是在一個不顯眼的角落里，奉獻那份光和熱。
