人類已經(jīng)進(jìn)入了21世紀(jì),以信息技術(shù)為主要標(biāo)志的科技進(jìn)步日新月異。現(xiàn)在的社會(huì)是一個(gè)終身學(xué)習(xí)的社會(huì),一個(gè)人只有具備了獲取信息能力,才能獲取更強(qiáng)的可持續(xù)發(fā)展能力和更多的終身教育的機(jī)會(huì)。如何讓學(xué)生能在一生中不斷地獲得新知識(shí),適應(yīng)信息化、學(xué)習(xí)化社會(huì)的要求已成為我們每一個(gè)教育工作者必須面對(duì)的現(xiàn)實(shí)。學(xué)校教育必須以學(xué)生的發(fā)展為宗旨,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí)能力,這是社會(huì)的要求、時(shí)代的需要。
然而,究竟何謂自主學(xué)習(xí)?
一、自主學(xué)習(xí)的定義
關(guān)于自主學(xué)習(xí)目前尚無(wú)一致看法。但自主學(xué)習(xí)的關(guān)鍵是學(xué)習(xí)者的態(tài)度和能力。因此引導(dǎo)高中學(xué)生進(jìn)行英語(yǔ)自主學(xué)習(xí)應(yīng)從以下五個(gè)方面入手
☆學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的態(tài)度;
☆學(xué)生對(duì)教學(xué)目標(biāo)的認(rèn)同;
☆學(xué)生使用的學(xué)習(xí)策略;
☆學(xué)生對(duì)自己學(xué)習(xí)的監(jiān)督;
☆學(xué)生對(duì)自己學(xué)習(xí)結(jié)果的評(píng)價(jià)
二、引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行自主學(xué)習(xí)策略
1.激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣。
學(xué)生首先要有端正的學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度,積極向上的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī)。在沒(méi)有外部壓力或要求的情況下,學(xué)生如果缺乏內(nèi)在的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī),沒(méi)有“我要學(xué)”的積極心理,就很難正確地制定學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo),有效地監(jiān)控學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程,保證較好的學(xué)習(xí)效果,自主學(xué)習(xí)也就無(wú)從談起。實(shí)驗(yàn)證明,端正的學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度、良好的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī)是自主學(xué)習(xí)能否順利實(shí)施的重要條件。學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度或動(dòng)機(jī)不端正是我們學(xué)校學(xué)生普遍存在的問(wèn)題,針對(duì)這一情況,我們主要要從增強(qiáng)學(xué)習(xí)自信心著手。在很多情況下學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī)不足,有厭學(xué)、畏學(xué)的傾向,并不是智力問(wèn)題,而是對(duì)自身能力產(chǎn)生懷疑,或者有錯(cuò)誤的認(rèn)識(shí),即覺(jué)得自己沒(méi)有能力完成學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù),或覺(jué)得自己的能力不可能改變或提高。在教學(xué)中,我們盡可能:1)讓學(xué)生獲得成功的體驗(yàn);2)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生坦然面對(duì)失?。?)鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生接受挑戰(zhàn)性任務(wù)等。除此之外,激發(fā)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的動(dòng)機(jī),要利用學(xué)生本身固有的動(dòng)機(jī),如好奇心、學(xué)生對(duì)成功的愿望、愛(ài)玩、好動(dòng)等天性;同時(shí),還要注意保護(hù)學(xué)生的自尊心,不要降低、挫傷學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī)。有了好的動(dòng)機(jī),還要有濃厚的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,“興趣是最好的老師”,學(xué)習(xí)興趣是學(xué)習(xí)的動(dòng)力,帶著內(nèi)在的學(xué)習(xí)興趣學(xué)習(xí)的學(xué)生能夠積極主動(dòng)地投入到學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中去。激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣,要先從課堂入手,創(chuàng)設(shè)豐富的教學(xué)情景,讓學(xué)生帶著興趣去體驗(yàn)英語(yǔ)在現(xiàn)實(shí)生活中的運(yùn)用,培養(yǎng)求知欲,潛移默化地培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣,并使之持之以恒。如:值日生專題報(bào)告。有計(jì)劃地安排每日的值日生專題報(bào)告學(xué)生可用簡(jiǎn)單的英語(yǔ),就天氣、出勤、班內(nèi)好人好事等情況進(jìn)行匯報(bào),也可以講故事、笑話、猜字謎、朗誦詩(shī)歌、演唱英文歌曲、自編對(duì)話小品等。同時(shí)還
要了解學(xué)生的活動(dòng)。如果學(xué)生剛看了一場(chǎng)電影,就讓學(xué)生就該電影作幾句簡(jiǎn)評(píng)。假如學(xué)生昨天剛舉行了年級(jí)足球比賽,讓他們就此作一短小新聞發(fā)表。還可讓學(xué)生就所讀書(shū)報(bào)雜志談讀后感等。這樣做不僅給學(xué)生提供表現(xiàn)自己才能的機(jī)會(huì),提高口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力,更重要的是激發(fā)了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,強(qiáng)化了自主學(xué)習(xí)的意識(shí)。
2.精心設(shè)計(jì)課堂“任務(wù)”,促使學(xué)生自主認(rèn)同教學(xué)目標(biāo)。
《英語(yǔ)課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》對(duì)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)提出了“任務(wù)型”教學(xué)的要求。因此,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行自主學(xué)習(xí),要?jiǎng)?chuàng)造性地設(shè)計(jì)貼近學(xué)生實(shí)際的教學(xué)活動(dòng),以學(xué)生的生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)和興趣為出發(fā)點(diǎn),吸引學(xué)生積極參與。通過(guò)學(xué)生合作學(xué)習(xí),小組分工,以思考、調(diào)查、討論、交流和合作等方式,學(xué)習(xí)和使用英語(yǔ),完成學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)。
在這個(gè)過(guò)程中,1)充分信任每一位學(xué)生,大膽放手讓學(xué)生獨(dú)自學(xué)習(xí)。教師首先要告知學(xué)生他們的任務(wù)和目標(biāo),然后是不斷地指導(dǎo)和培養(yǎng)并提高他們的自主學(xué)習(xí)和自學(xué)能力。給學(xué)生充分的時(shí)間和空間,讓他們自己讀書(shū),自己感受事物,自己觀察、分析和思考,從中明白事理,掌握知識(shí),提高能力。
2)把握好課題的難易度,尊重個(gè)體差異,重視個(gè)別指導(dǎo)。學(xué)生的個(gè)體差異是客觀存在的,因此無(wú)論是在內(nèi)容上、方法上、速度上要照顧好各種層次上的差異,幫助每個(gè)學(xué)生優(yōu)化自己的學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程,讓他們的學(xué)習(xí)更加自主和有效。
3)不斷肯定成績(jī),不吝嗇表?yè)P(yáng)。要因勢(shì)利導(dǎo),通過(guò)恰當(dāng)?shù)臅r(shí)機(jī)、途徑和場(chǎng)合,讓學(xué)生充分展示各自的特長(zhǎng),使學(xué)生能夠體驗(yàn)到學(xué)習(xí)成功的喜悅,產(chǎn)生成就感,再把成功的喜悅化作學(xué)習(xí)的動(dòng)力,增強(qiáng)學(xué)習(xí)的自信心。學(xué)生一旦體驗(yàn)到學(xué)習(xí)成功的樂(lè)趣,自然會(huì)產(chǎn)生更大、更多成功的欲望,誘發(fā)更為主動(dòng)的參與,更為積極的思維,從而使主動(dòng)參與學(xué)習(xí)成為一種持久強(qiáng)烈的意識(shí),最終形成自主學(xué)習(xí)的內(nèi)在機(jī)制,實(shí)現(xiàn)自主學(xué)習(xí)。
這樣做不僅調(diào)動(dòng)了學(xué)生參與的積極性而且促進(jìn)了學(xué)生對(duì)教學(xué)目標(biāo)的認(rèn)同,達(dá)到了學(xué)以致用的目的。
3.引導(dǎo)學(xué)生使用有效的學(xué)習(xí)策略,提高學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的效果。
學(xué)習(xí)策略指有助于語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)的學(xué)習(xí)方法和行為。學(xué)生在樂(lè)于學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的動(dòng)機(jī)和興趣的基礎(chǔ)上還要掌握一些學(xué)習(xí)策略,提高學(xué)習(xí)效果。
讓學(xué)生堅(jiān)持寫(xiě)學(xué)習(xí)周記,并不斷反思自身的學(xué)習(xí)觀念和學(xué)習(xí)策略。通過(guò)總結(jié)歸納本周學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容,梳理和復(fù)習(xí)知識(shí)要點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn)及習(xí)題中做錯(cuò)的題,自我反思本周學(xué)習(xí)的“得”與“失”,探討學(xué)習(xí)技巧和策略,創(chuàng)造機(jī)會(huì)讓學(xué)生們互相交流學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)驗(yàn),互相學(xué)習(xí)取長(zhǎng)補(bǔ)短。
4.引導(dǎo)學(xué)生自我監(jiān)督、管理、評(píng)價(jià),并根據(jù)需要調(diào)整學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)和學(xué)習(xí)策略。
1)幫助學(xué)生摒棄畏難情緒,改變自身被動(dòng)的學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度,讓學(xué)生活躍起來(lái)、興奮起來(lái)、行動(dòng)起來(lái)。不斷反思學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中出現(xiàn)的優(yōu)勢(shì)與不足之處,增強(qiáng)自我意識(shí),調(diào)整學(xué)習(xí)策略。
2)讓學(xué)生建立學(xué)習(xí)檔案,內(nèi)容包括學(xué)習(xí)計(jì)劃內(nèi)有關(guān)的全部資料以及閱讀、寫(xiě)作、聽(tīng)力、測(cè)試試卷等方面的檔案。如:自己的作文、書(shū)法、筆記、作業(yè)試卷
改錯(cuò)記錄;以及課外閱讀精彩片段、聽(tīng)力練習(xí)、聽(tīng)廣播、看電視、讀雜志、收集新詞等的檔案記錄。學(xué)習(xí)檔案既是學(xué)生制定學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)和自我評(píng)價(jià)的重要參考,又可不斷回顧檔案內(nèi)容,不斷改進(jìn),從而摸索出適合自己的學(xué)習(xí)方法。
3)發(fā)揮優(yōu)秀生的帶頭作用,實(shí)現(xiàn)學(xué)生自治。在班級(jí)內(nèi)組建英語(yǔ)智囊團(tuán)。成員由英語(yǔ)成績(jī)較突出同學(xué)組成,并同時(shí)兼任班內(nèi)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)小組的組長(zhǎng)。負(fù)責(zé)收發(fā)批改作業(yè)、檢查聽(tīng)寫(xiě)單詞、背誦課文等,還要定期搜集、整理、討論并解答本組學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)中遇到的疑難問(wèn)題。這樣做實(shí)際上組長(zhǎng)是在當(dāng)“小老師”,不僅增強(qiáng)了學(xué)生的參與意識(shí)而且還培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)問(wèn)題、思考問(wèn)題和解決問(wèn)題的能力。優(yōu)秀生得到了很好的鍛煉,起到了很好的帶頭作用。
評(píng)價(jià)有利于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對(duì)學(xué)習(xí)負(fù)責(zé)的態(tài)度,并能促使學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)思考,隨時(shí)看到自己取得的成績(jī)和存在的不足,幫助反思自主學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程,調(diào)整學(xué)習(xí)目的和學(xué)習(xí)策略,樹(shù)立新的超越自我的學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo),更有效地進(jìn)一步學(xué)習(xí)。
三、結(jié)束語(yǔ)
引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行自主學(xué)習(xí),是一個(gè)循序漸進(jìn)的過(guò)程。通過(guò)以上方式和途徑相信能夠提高學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)的能力,使學(xué)生為終身學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)言打下堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。
