如何提高英文寫作

英語寫作是語言應用的一個重要方面，也是語言能力測定的重要手段，衡量寫作水平的標準便是看其是否能用學過的語言材料，語法知識等用文字的形式來表達描述。

書面語言表達一般分為三個過程：思維、組織、表達。先是思維，把要寫的東西在腦中思考，這往往是個別的，孤立的一些素材，很凌亂瑣碎；因此要對此進行組織，把這些思維作出整理，使其條理、系統化，但這還是較粗糙的，可能還有一些用詞不當或語言錯誤；最后才是表達，把組織過的材料仔細推敲，確無問題了再落筆成文。在撰寫時要注意主謂語一致，時態呼應，用詞貼切等，這就是寫作。上述的三個過程，最難的就是第三個過程，這需要我們有較好的語法知識，掌握一定數量的句型，習慣用語，熟練的寫作技巧，這樣才能寫出通順生動的文章來。其實，“寫”和“說”一樣，是主動行為。題目雖然是老師出的，但寫什么，怎樣寫，主動權完全掌握在考生手里。在有準備的基礎上，考生完全可以專挑自己熟悉的句型，自己熟悉的詞匯來寫作文。應試作文，只要具有一定英語基礎，再稍加訓練，就有可能在比較短的時間內，得到大幅度的提高，這方面的成功事例是很多的。比如說，有一位青年教師，準備參加出國英語考試，考試前一個月，把他的兩篇作文交給英語教師批改，作文中各種錯誤成堆，最多只能打4、5分。英語教師給他逐一改正了錯誤，還給他講了一些注意事項。過一星期，青年教師再拿來兩篇短文，這一回，作文中的語法錯誤已經少了一些，英語教師又給他講了一些應試作文的竅門。以后又連續批改了兩次，前后總共批改了8篇短文。接著那位青年教師參加英語出國考試，作文部分得了12分。從這個例子可以看出，由于平時練得太少，所以考生對英文應試作文顯得生疏。但是，只要有人稍加指點，認真練習幾次，就會立竿見影，成績會迅速大幅度提高。

另外，寫英語作文最忌諱的是先想好一個中文句子，然后把它硬譯成英文。這樣做的結果是一堆用英文字母寫的中文，完全不符合英語的習慣。寫英語作文最好的辦法是自己掌握一些常用的英語動詞的用法，有一些常用的句套子。對于寫作文來說，掌握幾百個常用動詞的用法，再有100個常用句套子，就足以應付

各種日常寫作及應試作文的需求了。

事實上，不光是我們中國學生，即使是美國人，除了作家之外，他們在寫作時使用的詞匯也是不多的。前不久，美國總統布什在聯合國大會發表一個演講，全文9頁，2651個詞。用計算機統計后發現，所使用的詞匯共有783個，其中人名、地名等有29個。如果去掉人名、地名，所使用的詞匯只有754個，其中643個（占85%）屬于我國大學英語4級考試大綱范圍之內，也就是在常用的4200詞之內。美國總統在聯合國大會的演講稿，必定有寫作水平很高的撰稿人代為撰稿，所用詞匯尚且如此有限，一般平頭百姓日常書信或作文，有2000～3000詞，就足以應付各種寫作需求了。

還有一個事實可以說明這個問題。大家知道，有一本英語詞典叫“Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English”，這部詞典全部詞匯釋義和舉例所使用的詞匯只有2000個，就附在該詞典的后面。既然用2000個詞可以解釋所有其他幾萬個詞條，如果我們能夠熟練運用它們，也就能夠表達我們想表達的各種思想。記住一條：對于寫和說，“兵不在多而在于精”。

總之，要提高英語寫作水平，需要兩方面的訓練：一是語言基礎方面的訓練，要有扎實的造句、翻譯等基本功，即用詞法、句法等知識造出正確無誤的句子；二是寫作知識和能力方面的訓練以掌握寫作方面的基本方法和技巧。那么，究竟怎樣才能寫好作文呢？

閱讀優秀范文

首先要搞好閱讀。閱讀是寫作的基礎，在閱讀方面下的功夫越深，駕馭語言的能力也就越強。所以要寫好英語先要讀好英語，在語言學習方面狠下苦功，教科書要讀透，因為教科書中的文章都是一些很好的范文，文筆流暢，語言規范，精彩的一些課文段落要背誦。再就是要進行大量課外閱讀，并記住一些好文章的篇章結構。

加強練詞造句訓練

其次，要加強練詞造句的訓練。詞句對作文相當于造房的材料，無好材料就造不出好房子。平時在學習閱讀時要注意收集積累，把好的詞語、短語、句型做好筆記。平時在練習中的錯誤也要做好記錄，再對照正確句子，使地道的英語句子如同條件反射，落筆就對。

了解英語寫作格式還有，要了解英語寫作的不同體裁與格式。可以先看一本介紹英語寫作入門的書，對英語寫作有一個初步的概念，如怎么寫議論文，如何提出論據，如何展開，如何確定中心句；又如，英語信的格式，如何根據不同身份寫不同結束語等，然后根據不同的體裁進行寫作練習。

用英語寫日記

要養成記英語日記勤練筆的好習慣。經常用英語記日記，等于天天在練筆，這無疑是提高英語協作的行之有效的好辦法。在記日記時，不要總是用簡單句，要有意識地用一些好的詞組、句型、關聯詞和復合句等，使文句更優美生動。還有要按照題目或所給情景寫文章練筆。寫好后對照范文，找出差距，然后再練習，這對提高英語作文也很有幫助，在游泳中學會游泳，只有多練習才能練好。總之，平時學習語言素材積累多了，體裁格式記住了又經常練習不斷提高，到作文下筆時就會得心應手，水到渠成。

第二篇：手機短信能提高英文寫作

“短信一族”幾乎就是學英語的一代，因此，只要對方學過英語，我們就可以用英文發手機短信。這樣，我們便把英文寫作的頻率提升到前所未有的高度。假設你一個月發300條短信，有250條是英文的(剩下50條發給父母長輩等不會英文者)，你的英文寫作能力會得到怎樣的提升？聞得有位兄臺在回家的列車上給朋友發短信解悶就發了200余條，請問他要是全部用英文發，他的英文寫作能力會得到怎樣的提升？

首先要明確你手機的英文輸入法?，F在手機上的英文輸入法大體有兩種。一種是逐個字母輸入的原始方法，每個字母需要摁若干次數字鍵，例如輸入字母“i”要摁“4”鍵3次，依次顯示“g”、“h”、“i”。如果需要連續輸入同一數字鍵所代表的幾個字母，則每次還得等一秒鐘讓手機確認，例如輸入“moon”就夠你煩的了。第二種是智能輸入法，也是大多數手機具備的英文輸入法，它以單詞為單位，只需要按順序摁各個字母所在的數字鍵，手機自動把各種可能組成單詞的字母組合讓你遴選，同樣是“moon”只要連續摁4次“6”鍵(不用間歇)，屏幕出來“noon”，再摁一下遴選鍵，“moon”就出來了。

正是手機的智能輸入法能使你的單詞拼寫得到質的提升！在智能輸入法狀態下，你幾乎不會拼錯單詞，因為：如果你摁入的字母序列與手機內置詞庫的正確單詞拼寫順序不一致的話，手機會給你提示，或者根本就沒有合適的單詞供你選擇。因此，我們必須掌握正確的拼寫，相應地，需要隨時隨地查詞典——電子詞典就是最好的搭檔。我就是被智能輸入法“強迫”練熟了不少容易混淆的拼寫。例如 “大使”和“大使館”讀音、意義類似，我曾經想當然以為拼寫就是最后幾個字母后綴有點差別，某次我要表達“大使館”時摁入“ambassy”，手機提示不能識別，查電子詞典才發現“大使”是“ambassador”，“大使館”卻是“embassy”！請你拿出手機試一遍，就能感受到“電子老師”是多么的嚴格要求了(電腦軟件例如Word有智能改錯，但手機上好像還沒有)。在“手機＋電子詞典”的反復寫作訓練下，我慢慢練熟了諸如“temperature”、“restaurant”、“guarantee”、“fortunate”、“pronunciation”、“cockcroach”等從前經常出錯的拼寫。

建議僅在單詞拼寫不明確的情況下查電子詞典，而不要濫用電子詞典的漢英詞典功能瞎找一個單詞來表達你的意思，以免寫成“中國式英語”。良好的寫作表達只能來源于我們接觸到的原著，也就是說，洋人用過的說法我們才能用，不懂的表達千萬別自己編造。某個意思可能有多種表達，我們要是不會最佳表達，不妨用羅嗦一點但熟悉而正確的表達，反正語言是靈活的，總可以讓收信人明白的。當然，我們須在原著中多多汲取地道準確的表達，日后的短信就寫得越來越動人了。

英文短信還有個好處：言簡意賅。這也是被迫練出來的，因為每條短信字數有限制，超出了就得多扣電話費。在經濟上受到約束，比作文課上老師強調100遍“簡潔”還管用。通過發英文短信，你會逐漸懂得到怎樣在短短一百幾十個字符中表達最多的內容，例如本來要寫兩句話，如果把第二句改成從句能省幾個格，改成分詞修飾謂語動詞省得更多??長此以往，你的英文行文就會越來越簡明扼要，表達技巧也越來越一針見血。這，已經不再是單詞拼寫的基礎層次，而是相當高級的寫作技術了。
